Weird Shadow inside mouth Genesis 2
in The Commons
Does anyone know why this is happening? There is a wierd shadow (or Light) on her teeth. It's as if there is a hole in her face (not her mouth) letting the light in. From another angle there are two more smaller spots of illumination that I'm guessing is created by her nostrils. I've since turned off SSS for her nostrils and inner mouth, but still there is this.
Thanks for any help!

Which figure? Which renderer?
Genesis 2, Victoria 6. Brynn Character. Renderer is 3Delight
What lights are you using? Are the lights casting shadows?
Is the default the OmniUbersurface shader or the AoA SSS shader?
AoA Lights and SSS Shader. Yes, the lights are casting shadows.
I suspect you may need to lower the Shadow Bias setting on the light - that's an offset, in cm, that moves shadows out to avoid sufaces self-shadowing (producing weird dark banding).
Thanks so much for your help. That plus a few other adjustments solved the problem.
