I like an nice well made bathroom, but it's getting a bit tedious. The store here has 54 bathrooms ( if you include ones in apartments ) that's more then my local hardware store, which is a pretty large warehouse.

Would vendors consider making other types of rooms?

I suppose they sell because it's somwhere figures can be rendered naked.

I would think that if the store is so saturated with a particular product that it wouldnt sell very well /shrugs.  But I'm with you and I would like to see more rooms too and even housing exteriors. Regular stuff too not fancy/artsy stuff.  Like there is one guy Collective3D that has a TON of stuff.  But if you look at their houses they all have the same style it seems with the house in front, a driveway that goes alongside and a detached garage in the back.

The Northern terrace is one i like, but yes more exteriors would be good.

I guess i should suggest some room types the I haven't seen or are rarely done.

A machine shop, with lathes, drilling machines, etc maybe even a large press..There are garage sets already, but i'm thinking more of a generic metal workshop.

Small Post office, betting shop, a toy/model shop ( not specifically Xmas )

Carpet store, there are lots and lots of small business style stores.

    Would these sell?

Haha, there was a thread about this and I laughed when I saw the product this morning. They also look a like a lot. Maybe at least diversify with waterfalls and maybe a series of "bathrooms around the world" ;-)

Maybe add it to genres as well ... fantasy... history... bathrooms!

Suprised nobody has done the bathroom from the first series of Game of Thrones, or maybe they have and I didn't notice . hahah

Oh and add to my list a carpenters workshop ( not biblical )

Brings a new meaning to 'sitting on the throne'.

Plenty of plungers, but not a toilet roll in sight. I reckon it's a trap...

So many neglected toilet variants yet to be in store: long drops, tipplers, outdoor privies, multi holers, pits with a pole to hang onto.  I would prefer not to see a realistic one from a big music festival, though...I still have flashbacks...

Not to mention the Billy Connolly 'Jobbie Weecha'. especially if you live on the flightpath.

An then there's those long urinals that were always in a gents.

I'd want to be wearing wellies if I had to use that squat toilet.

Haha, imagine that festival one in the shop. "Comes with all props and dirty texture variant in glorious 8k resolution."

I guess I should be grateful they haven't invented downloadable scratch-n-sniff. I did hear thet the original Leisure suit Larry came with a scratch and sniff card. But i never bought it.

I guess you could have a USB dongle containing a range of phials of 'scents' that are released by some software, but i think I'll pass on that.

    Toilets in the ground?

  • I'm sure in some parts of the world that would be considered a luxury.

The squat toilet is popular on the continent. I've only ever seen one once here in the UK, in the house of a guy who lived with his French girlfriend.

I tried to bake something (nearly) naked once but burnt my tummy,

  • yes that was a French one from Wikipedia

was posting as DAZ shows European bathrooms but not their loos

in Australia we still have the long drop thunder boxes in some small rural towns and that could be interesting maybe for me to model cheeky

  • With all these bathrooms the missed to create a tipical Italian bathroom with bidet...maybe for the new year laugh

  • Too funny!!

My bathroom will be finished remodeling this month. I've changed it to make it more easily handicapped accessible even though I am not handicapped. I've tripped & slipped, both indoors and outdoors. for years even though not often, such that I've decided that one of my DIY hobbies will to be to make my entire house handicapped accessible. However, I have only one bathroom in the house so these bathroom styles in DAZLand I find interesting although I don't buy them all.

I do remember that floor style or very similar in France, Maylasia and South Korea, although the ones in Maylasia and South Korea where a somewhat different. When I first saw that style I thought it was some sort of sink or bathtub like a dog or cat might think! Based on my trip to India I decided to add a bidet but I've yet to see those in a DAZLand bathroom.

There are a lot of bathrooms but many aren’t functional. Shower doors don’t open faucets are set at off, toilet lids don’t go up and 3d water is scarce. You are also lucky if something is the right size to shower bath, or do the unmentionable.

I often buy bathrooms and bedrooms so there can never be enough for me.

With several thousand characters in the store I don't think 54 is enough, actually.

One of Greenpots' sets at Rendo has one.

In France we call them "Turkish-style toilets" ;) They're not very common but some public toilets use them.

several thousand / 54 is going to make those bathrooms awefuly tight; good point, need more bathrooms. :)

But a fair number of those characters don't have the plumbing to use a bathroom. Maybe we need more surgical units.

  • What a topic to "plunge" into. indecision

If someone could make a Clorox or Ty-D-Bol version of the Koolaid Man character, I would imagine one could make a bathroom scene with him busting through the wall. Instead of saying "Oh yeah!", he could say something like, "Oh S***!"

I think I did a search for bathrooms once a few weeks ago and found a couple that looked good. I was thinking of doing a version of Jackie Chan's Rumble in the Bronx as something along the lines of Rumble in the Bathroom or Rumble in the Bowels. smiley
