Each layer has its own density, width, spread, placement, scale, rotation mode, diversity, and viewport visibility settings. Put tall bushes on one side, flowers on the other, grass in the middle, or create carefully structured formal borders with just a few sliders.

For more organic shapes, C66 Hedge Maker 2 includes Bezier spline support. Create smooth curves between hedge markers, adjust joins with Joint Guides, and build rounded, winding, or closed-loop hedges without placing dozens of markers by hand. For hard corners and formal designs, Joint Guides give you carpenter-style control over how hedge sections meet.

C66 Hedge Maker 2 can also follow uneven ground using a collision mesh, making it suitable for roadsides, hills, UltraScenery-style terrain, and complex garden scenes. Placement is calculated in the background, so item counts update while you work, and generation remains fast even for large scenes.

Viewport performance is also under your control. Each layer can be shown as full geometry, lightweight proxies, or hidden entirely in the viewport while remaining renderable. This makes it practical to work with very dense layers without bringing scene navigation to a crawl.
