She is the daughter of Geb and Nut, sister and wife of Osiris, and mother of Horus, with a cult that spread throughout the Mediterranean, influencing the Greeks and Romans.

She was known for her great magic, which she used to resurrect Osiris and protect Horus, and was associated with fertility, protection of the dead, and the Pharaonic throne, being called the “Great Lady of Magic” and “Mother of the Gods.”
