MMX VDB Smoke Trails 04

This set comes with 140 VDB Smoke Trails that range is size, width and height.  There are 20 color presets and 20 density presets included in the set as well.  The default density of each smoke trail is rather dense and may appear pixelated at close range.  It is easier to reduce the density then to add it in.

To improve scene handling and navigation when using the smoke trails, each VDB smoke trail has its own base mesh which represents the full size of the VDB volume, allowing you to easily move it, scale it and frame it for your renders.  Parented to each base mesh is a 1m cube with which the VDB volume is attached to.  All movement and scaling needs to be done with the base mesh and all color and density presets need to be applied to the 1m cube.  Both the base mesh and 1m cube will not be visible when rendered and are not visible to dForce simulations.

Please note:  VDB volumes cannot be scaled between programs like a mesh can.  The base mesh and cube combination was done to resolve a scene scale issue between Daz Studio and the software that made the VDBs, where 1 unit equals centimeters in Daz Studio and in the other meters.

Please do not move the 1m cube from its place in the base mesh, doing so will cause the VDB volume to be misaligned from the base mesh.
