LI The Magic Rug is a modular construction, prop and material asset system built around assets with unusual UVs that allow seamless textures to be used freely, without too much concern about visible seams.

Every product in the range is designed to work together, creating a unified library of components that can be mixed, matched, and expanded over time.

Due to the broad spectrum of shapes and the process of making them as seamless as possible, textile density will vary; however, any applied material can be easily scaled to match.

Seamless textures are fundamental to the system.

Because of this, I’ve created a large library of images, shader presets, and opacity maps that form the backbone of the range, making it easy to retexture, customise, and refine assets without rebuilding them.

NOTES:

Using Solid Glass materials that have Normal Map as well and caustics enable can be taxing on render times and some of these secenes explore those options.
