Land of Sweets: Volume 1

The lights in the theater begin to dim as the familiar strains of Tchaikovsky's musical masterpiece fill the silent air. A magic falls over the entire crowd as the tiny patters of pointe shoes and the rustling of tutus combine with the swells of music signaling the beginning of the most beautifully costumed and choreographed ballet of the season.

Each ballet company boasts their own unique costuming for this monumental holiday event. The Poser Ballet Corps offer nothing less than the largest of companies, with costumes digitally stitched with magical and glittering pixels by your own digital seamstresses, Sarsa and secretheart.

Volume 1 of 'Land of Sweets" brings you to the lands of flowers and snow. In the Waltz of the Flowers the delicate Rose in deep pinks and greens is surrounded by her court of flowers, each with varying shades of voluminous petals special and magical in her own way. In the depths of the snow blanketed forest we find the Snow Queen and her Snowflakes practically blending with the winter landscape. Layer upon layer of white glittering tulle studded with silver snowflakes swirl around and then reveal, in the center of it all, the magical Snow Queen with deep blue velvet studded with tiny stones and more layers of white tulle.
