March Madness is here! Buyer Bonus: Justus for Darius 8 and A Gentleman's Expressions
Hmmm, I have only bought the Paige & Pace Bundle of new products since MM began and have only been back in town since last Wednesday but I've seen nothing of these free bonus products at all except the current one for V4/M4 era freebies if I purchase something DAZ Store "new".product.
Can Paige G8 be dialed part-way?Yes Paige comes with seperate dials for her head and body so you can add as little or as much as you want .
Can Paige G8 be dialed part-way?Most of 3DU's morphs can be, I don't know why Paige would be any different. Sometimes you want something that's not 100% Toon.
Can Paige G8 be dialed part-way?Does anyone happen to know if Paige's head morph can be dialed in at less than 1.000 (full strength) to blend with other head morphs? Thanks in advance.
Photo-real characters. A different approach. Here is an example of as close as I can get to photorealism at the moment - it is set up in Carrara, I think one of the big differences is using Carrara's strand based hair, and then rendered using Octane Render for Carrara. I think Octane has the edge, but iRay is very good with the right settings and lighting. And I am making an effort to get as close to strand-based hair as I reasonably can in Daz Studio too, with my Paige Hair product and others in the pipeline. There was also a little postwork to tidy up a couple of small areas and make a small adjustment to exposure and contrast, but this is pretty close to the original render.
PhilW Hairs Discussion ThreadGerster - thanks for buying it! By having multiple morphs at 100%, you are pushing it into areas that it wasn't really designed to go. I am already working on my next hair and this will have a very short option.. As for Paige Hair, you could try removing limits on one of the morphs and see if that gives you closer to what you want - but again you will be pushing it beyond its design, so I can't guarantee this will work any better.
Ok, I understand. But you still looking at native G3 support?
When can we except promo images from your next hair product?

I am planning to do more hairs, not necessarily based on old Carrara hairs - but feel free to use this thread to let me know if you are interested in any particular styles.
I would be very interested in a hair product with medium parting where I can morph the hair from very short (boy hairstyle) to very long (at least shoulder length or longer).
Menas something like this:
https://www.daz3d.com/adam-hair-for-genesis-3-male-s
to this:
https://www.daz3d.com/georgia-hair-and-oot-hairblending-2-0-for-genesis-3-female-s
or this: https://www.daz3d.com/olenna-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s
The product would be perfekt if there would be additonal morph options for pony tails.
Most products support only very "high" pony tails, like
or
(e.g. https://www.daz3d.com/linda-ponytail-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-female-s)
Idealy the product would allow "deep" pony tails:
or
Summary:- boyish short hair with a morph to at least shoulder length hair (or longer)
- medium parting
- pony tail support (low and high style, but primarly low)
- native G3 support
and mabye also native for males
Is this with your technic possible? And are you interested and doing such a product?
Carrara Sale Email Message Alert threadNot Carrara - specific, but the Studio conversion of PhilW's Paige hair is a new release; therefore, his store is on discount. That makes four vendors who have Carrara-format items included in their stores currently in the artist store discount category.

Very fun image! I like the dirt being thrown. If you are a PC+ member, you should post it to the PC inspiration contest thread.

I love this image. It is very dynamic, and I like how Pacer is watching Paige, and thinking 'uh-oh, you over cooked that move'

Really great render @mollytabby, thanks for showing Paige. I'll try again tomorrow in a new scene and see how she comes out. It's a weird issue that I'm having with the black dots. Glad I asked.
Mollytabby's Art WorkshopPopping this here for the record. I did this for the PC Inspiration Contest using Paige and Pace and the Platingnum Club of Fat Bikes and the Dirt Bike Poses for Genesis 8 male. It took me a while to get Paige's hands and body positioning right as the pose is for GM8, but I really do like all these products. I would love it if there were more textures for the bikes. I might just have a go at editing the file in Photoshop if I get the chance. It's something I should learn how to do.
@IceDragonArt I bought the skin builder in the sale with the last of my budget for this month. I think I was meant to get it!
Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10Thank you, @agentunawares
. A lot of the credit should go to the PA's who created these models. They are beautiful and a joy to work with. I had to tweek the male model poses for Paige and it took me a while. It's all part of the learning curve for me, that's why I try to do the PC contests.Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10I'm back

I'd never know you weren't adept with toons, looking at this image. This is really good.

That's incredible.
Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10This is a cropped close- up of Paige.

I've never had a Toon character before, so I've no idea if I've got the lighting right. I use the Pro Studio lights a lot, I feel comfortable with them now
. If you bought the bundles you should have the HDR used for some of the promotional renders (under Render Settings). It might be worth trying those (if you haven't already?). Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10I'm back

Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 10Does anyone else have Pacer and Paige? I rendered Pacer to show him off here, and he came out great. Then I rendered Paige, and she has black dots all over her skin. I re-rendered, and had the same thing happen. I put both of them in the same scene to see if it was something about different lighting etc - but he comes out fine and she comes out with the black dots. I'm not linking their names here because I'd rather not mislead anyone (who checks for references to the character) if it is an issue with just my renders.
@Novica - glad to hear your mom is doing great now :)
I have Paige and Pace, @Worlds_Edge. I'm not having the issue you describe. I've done a render with them for the PC Inspiration Competition. I'll pop it up there and then come back and put it here so you can see the skin. I rendered using a HDR image.
