Oookay.  There's apparently been some drinking on the job going on at DAZ.  Today's ad says "Over 400 popular Michael & Victoria items only $4 each", yet I count only 90 items in the MIchel section and 60 in the victoria section.  Then there are another 20 items pet cat shown on the page, but there are still around 200 items missing. 

I'm showing 384 and 104 if I unhide stuff I own.

There was a person
in the "rosity" Forums who mentioned that he still uses V2 but is really bothered by how "out of place" she looks next to his V4 figures.
So just for fun ,and while waiting for some long animation renders to finish, on one machine
I loaded the "old girl" into Daz Studio 4.7 on My other machine. 
Added a subD modifier

Draped a freebie  V4 Dynamic tunic over her in DS with the _(REDACTED.......... REDACTED)_script from renderosity.

Converted the "Nova Hair"  for the G2 female to a static prop
and placed on her head.

Shot her over to blender via the fee Mcjteleblend script
Added a simple SSS node to her 15 year old skin maps
and rendered to 275 samples (non squared).

Try reinstalling the Victoria 4 PowerLoader files, and make sure theya re going to the content directory with the \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Victoria 4 folder.

Bear in mind that Gen 3 and Genesis 3 are not the same in "Daz terms". For instance, Gen 3  typically refers to Victoria 3, not Genesis 3.

It's looking for the \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Victoria 4 folder in one (and only one) of your Poser Format content directories - does that exist?

Such notifier appears everytime I try to load a new V4 figure.

Though I can load an existing scene where V4 already exists. But the error still insults me.

Tryed reinstalling and reimporting database. No effect. No advices in the internets. What should I do?

I am speaking about old V3, not G3F.

Tryed to do by analogy with V4, didn't work.

There is no even Victoria 3 in GenX source menu.

I believe the bikini is http://www.daz3d.com/hongyu-s-bikini-for-victoria-7 using a either a texture set not sold here, or one of the fabric shaders available here. If you go to renderosity, just search for "Hongyu's Bikini" product and you'll see a plethora of texture sets available for this item.

Edited:   Ahhh...I've identified the texture set used in the promo image.  It is the Sunkissed 4 Hongyus Bikini over at rendo. Edited (again!) - this information is incorrect.  I thought one of the promo images had the same texture set, but it's not afterall.  However, the bikini is STILL Hongyu's bikini.

That would be Teen Josie with the Victoria 7 skin texture 

This would be more welcome then new versions of Victoria 7 and Michael 7.

That's the bug I reported back in April or May it was, Request 216610.

It doesn't happen it I start with the Girl 7 for which I have no Girl 7 HD but it does happen for Victoria 7 or Brooke 7 HD (and probably others and also other types of Genesis 2 clothing then the sets for Callie 6 i was trying to use). You could probably skip the dialing in the body and face shapes too but I didn't extensive test that.

Here is how one should be able to reproduce it:

The bug happens with both Optiplex checked & unchecked so it must be something else.

0. Start DAZ Studio 4.9.1.30 
1. Load Brooke 
2. Dial to 0% Victoria 7's Body 
3. Dial to 100% the Girl 7's Body 
4. Dial to 100% the Girl 7 
5. Load the Captain Cupcake Jacket on Brooke that looks like Girl 7 
5. a. (Autofit - Genesis 2 Female - Shirt) 
6. Load the Captain Cupcake Skirt on Brooke that looks like Girl 7 
6. a. (Autofit - Genesis 2 Female - Pants) 
7. DAZ Studio Crashes

As I said both Optiplex & the Customer Improvement checkboxes are unchecked and also if I load the original Girl 7, this doesn't happen. It seems related to starting with Brooke. 

By the way, I just tested this with Victoria 7 and the same thing happens. I dial out Victoria 7's body, dial in Girl 7's body and dial in Girl 7 and then the 2nd article of clothing I try to put on the character causes DAZ Studio to crash. Other articles of clothing from the Callie 6 Pro Bundle will also cause this crash.

I just downloaded the scene, obviously I get erors for the stuff I don't have and also the face diffuse map (the figure uses the Victoria 7 textures), I put it in manually. I was able to load clothing and hair without a crash, saved just the figure as a scene shut down DS opened up DS opened up the scene and applied clothing and hair without any crashes.

I'm using DS 4.9.2.70, I do know there are some things that seem to be fine in 4.9 but crash 4.8.

Ok I just tested it. It's fine if I use product meant for Genesis 3 from Smart Content, however if I try to "auto-fit" a product meant for Genesis 2 that I have saved as a "wearable" (My Library > Presets > Wearables) then it crashes.

Weird. I tried redownloading the scene and it did the same thing. I deleted all the items I didn't have (clothes, hair, accessories, etc) that showed up as big gray boxes. Then tried to load clothes or hair on the figure and it crashes. I replaced the face mat with the original Victoria 7 face mat. And then try loading clothes or hair to the figure and sure enough - immediate crash. Now the clothes and hair I've tried loading have all been the clothes and hair meant for Genesis 2 figures - so perhaps that's the issue? I'll try it with clothes made for Genesis 3 and see if it still does it.
