I have used scripts for dark skin Genesis + lips female + makeup fix

The problem, or at least most of it, is that the set was made for a much older version of the figures.  They were originally for Victoria 4 and you are applying them to Victoria 7 (yeah, I know you said Karen 7, but they both use the same base mesh, Genesis 3 Female and are the same 'generation'),  As such, things aren't going to line up exactly, for the prop loading nor are the poses going to work without tweaking/conversion.  There have been many rigging changes from the generation 4 figures (Victoria 4) and the generation 7 (Genesis 3) so the poses aren't directly usable.

So that's why Victoria got shunted off sale so quickly.

Morning, working on my first cup of coffee here. Yester day I had a litle fun with FWSA Yulia and Izabella 7, lol.

That is indeed FWSA Yulia, I just swapped out the V7 shape dials for Izabella 7, just out of courosity.

As for the Bahia Tropical Outfit, there was some dificulties on some figures (breasts, groin, the usual spots). Fornately there is some adjustment dials in the outfit to work around the trublesem spots unlike other stuff.

I realy don't have anything for Shiloh yet, it was just a quick "Dose it fit" test. Time for some coffee, and to play some more. Oh, by the way, Yulia's new earrings and bracelets (bangles, whatever, lol) came from FWSA Monika and the rings from Ring Collection for G3F.  BTW, that Geneva hair is incredibly usable for many poses, because it has bones to pose the bangs/wisps and the tail (I did swap out the ponytail band with the three fuzzy toroids some time ago, explained in a vey old post way back).

In separate news, I'm looking at adding one more dial to that set. It is still a WIP, I'll keep y'all apprized when I'm 'Shure' it dose what I want it to and it is good to go. I may actually add a second for something else, tho it is a toss up for now.

I've got the Ginnifer stuff on a to-be render with FWSA Shiloh.

Note that for me, the RingoMonfort skin shaders (Carrara) for DPVictoria 6 reference the default V6 maps caled "RyBelle" found in the \Runtime\Textures\Daz\Characters\Genesis2\Victoria6   folder.  So, if I try to load the V6 skin shader from the Carrara browser folder for RingoMonfort Victoria 6 to my model, then the first time I may get a file not found issue.  However, it is solved by navigating to the folder that has the texture maps (see RyBelle above).  Carrara then finds and loads all of the maps correctly for all of the shading domains.  I save that correctly loaded global shader back to the browser with a name like "loaded V6 shader" and have no future problems loading it.

I'm looking for a way to make Victoria 4, Genesis and Genesis 2 products compatible with Genesis 3. Both upward and downward compatibility would be preferable. there a morph bundle for G3 as awesome as the Genesis Evolution bundle?

Im not sure what to tell you about backwards compatibility. To be honest ive never actually tried to fit current stuff on older models.

Hi guys... sorry Im late for a reply. I just got up.

As for the UV's, yeah sadly, it utilizes Victoria 6. As it was my first Genesis/Genesis 2 character, I erroneously used those uv's to convert, rather than the base uv's. That said, conversion thru the conversion utility is an option... but not a quick, perfect or easy one that people would likely take on.

As far as support goes, you would need to own the Victoria 6 base figure (the uv's come with that) But a refund might be in order, if its not an expense you want to incur.

Sorry for the trouble :( But I will say a reboot is in the future for Genesis 3 Female. Maybe just hold out for that :)

Does the product actually fail to load or work after the error? It may be that the Victoria 6 UVs are set for teh eyes or mouth, where they don't make a difference and can be ignored.

Thanks for your reply, @mjc1016. I wish Victoria 6 was listed as a required product at the top of the product page. It only says that the compatible figure is Genesis 2 female, which I do have. Since I would only be buying Victoria 6 to use for this one product Dark Elves for G2F, I may need to rethink my purchase. I already have V7. Bummer! I really like it too.

I'm used to Genesis 1/Vicky 5, Genesis 2/V6, etc., so Genesis 4/Victoria 8, et al, so the naming convension doesn't bother me. However, Apple solved the revolutionary new "iteration" naming problem by switching to roman numerals (OS 9.2 to OS X). 

I'm more interested in what Daz can do to make Genesis 4 different enough from Genesis 3 to make an upgrade worthwhile for anyone. Genesis 1 was a huge break from the underlying technology of the generation 4 figures (I think--I came on board around the time Genesis 2 debuted); G2 rejected the unisex mesh; G3 pretty radically reconfigured the mesh for better movement/animation. Anyone have speculation as to what the next generation will impove and/or change (if you think it won't be an improvement...I'd imagine all of the people still using Victoria 4 are't convinced Genesis figures were a win).

I, at least, do.  Though that may, at least in part, be because I started just before the Mil 4 line was introduced with Victoria 4.  Still, as far as I'm concerned there's Mil 1 (millenium man and Millenium woman), Mil 2 (Victoria 2, Michael 2, Stephanie/Aiko, the original Mil Baby, Mil boys and Ml Girls), Mil 3 (Victoria 3, Michael 3, Stephanie Petite 3, David 3, Luke and Laura, Matt and Maddie, Mil Baby 3, Aiko 3, Hiro 3, the Girl3, and Freak 3), Mil 4 (Michael 4, Vicoria 4, Kids 4, with all other attendant characters being morphs of those three), and then G(enesis) 1 (all verison 5 characters as morphs), G(esnesis) 2M/F (all version 6 characters as morphs) and now G(enesis)3 M/F (all version 7 characters as morphs), with G4 coming entirely too soon. 

Agreed, although I'll be interested to see, but no intention of jumping on the bandwagon; i did it with 3 and then slowed drastically when DRM hit us. Even so,  I am interested in what appears.
