Alessandra HD reminds me of some actress but I can't quite place it. At first, I thought Kim Bassinger but that isn't quite ut. Any other suggestions to put my mind at rest from trying to figure out this puzzle?

It always helps to specify a particular image, as quite often a resemblence that is very strong from one angle is not-so-much from another.  That said, I see a bit of Loretta Swit back when she played Hot Lips on MASH.  Then again, Leisa herself gives me a Sybil Danning vibe, but I doubt most the people here have ever seen her in a film except, possibly, BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS or Lour Frigno's HERCULES.

They have lost a lot of my respect with such tactics.  As a result I may be buying a lot less from them in the future.

Phew.  I thought it was just me, or my memory was starting to go bad.  I tried to use it yesterday to no avail, ended up with the 10% off coupon instead so I could take advantage of the bundle sales.

Nice... Raise the price of catch up sale items and require a huge buy-in (Pro bundle purchase) to get them for 50 cents less than the usual catch up price. Now that's crummy.

 

Yeah, I'm not really seeing much incentive there for either buying catch up items or Leisa. It would take a lot of 0.50 discounts to make it worth adding a $56 bundle that I wasn't sure I really wanted. Plus now, I have no incentive to get catch up items without buying the bundle...screwy idea.

Except the 2.99 pirce was an error - they actually are charging 5.00 for catchup items. They mistakenly advertised it as 2.99 two days running.
All the same, nothing they have offered has enticed me to buy Leisa.

That's what I meant, that with the raise in price to $5 for catchups, the half price discount was effectively only 0.50 off the normal catchup prices.  So, either you spend $58 to get fifty cents off what you would have paid normally, or you have to pay $2 over the normal catch up prices.  It's kind of a lose lose proposition unless you were just planning to buy Leisa anyway.

This is so frustrating! I feel duped since there was an expiration date. I was just trying to use the original code too.

Ah, the discount for Leisa 6 Pro is automatic (if you get the message), it's only the Gift Card that needs a code.

We have pointed out the issue with the previous offer - you could buy a GC and open a Sales ticket to ask for the extra 10% as a discount, I suppose.

I honestly don't feel that this should be offered as a solution to the problem, the coupon should be reinstated as it was origiinally given.  Daz needs to fix their gameplan or they are going to lose their customer base.  I have bought next to nothing in these last 2 sales because of the incorrect charges, messy sales ads etc it's just not worth  my time to try to get what has been offered and then have to settle for something coompletely different because DAZ company doesn't honor what they are promoting.  It's really sad!

I totally agree. I've been a customer here when they actually had it together..way back in Zygote times, selling virus and bacteria models ... then DAZ ... its gotten really bad with all the sales messes, and they surely should try to intigrate new store software as bad as this stuff they're using is. Obviously their customer service is overwhelmed with how long it takes them to get back..and by the time they do, the sales in existence when you wanted to save some bucks are long gone. 
I've ben real close to just not bothering to even check the sales anymore..don;t need to as much as I've purchased anyway...but each tinme I allow my PC to elapse, it gets liklier I will not renew sooner or later. My huge investment in vcontent keeps me coming back, but soon it will be just for the software support and upgrades. 
I do have a problem with not being able to control myself with the sales, but when they odn;t work as advertised, I dont bother... and it shouldn't be up tp us, the customer, to constantly create a sales ticket to get what we were told the sales terms were going to be.

WARNING: Even yet another coupon change. While I beleive the new lesser value Leisa coupon originally stated it would expire Sunday 10 November, it now states it will expire Friday 8 November. I wish I had gotten a screenshot of it earlier today. Hey DAZ -- How about just giving us back our original coupon with 20% off gift cards until Sunday.

They're probably clearing the path for a weekend blowout, and the current coupon likely would have had conflicting conditions.

Well, with the current long time delays in resolving tickets (my last one took 8 days) it probably won't get any action before the expriration date (Sunday 10 November) shown on the attached screenshot of the old coupon which is no longer working for me either. Grrr !!!
