Thanks, the update helped. But now another problem has appeared - I cannot select Gensis 2 as a Target. More precisely, I cannot choose anything as a Target. I dragged all the Victoria 4.2 morphs I needed into the morphs window, they were added and mixed, but I can’t move forward. When trying to create a morph, an error occurs - No morphs are selected / There are no morphs with non-zero values. I have the Genesis2 addon for Gen2X, but it seems to be installed incorrectly or not working.

It looks like you are very good at this this plugin. I installed DAZ3D just to convert several Victoria 4.2 morphs mixed together into a single Genesis2 morph to use in another program.

Could you do this for me? I would give you the morphs you need, and you would convert them. Because I’m not familiar with Daz and after this problem another one will obviously arise, and after receiving the morph I no longer need Daz3d at all.

Hello All!

Yesterday I had bought 3 figures from the Daz store:

Zhi for Kayo 8,  Bahar for G8F, and Vanja HD for Victoria 8.

The first figure installed fine and she shows up in my Smart Content folder.   The other two didn't.  I did find them in the Content Library and when I right clicked on it and selected "Show In Smart Content", both of the figures were in lost and found.  That isn't acceptable, so I had tried a few things to see if I could get them to show up in the Smart Content:

Uninstall and reinstalled it...that didn't work.

Reimported the metadata...that didn't work.

While I know I can access the character via the Lost and Found folder, I have HUNDREDS of figures and I know I will eventually forget they are there.  Further, when I do access the folder from within Lost and Found, nothing is itemized, it is all bunched together in one folder.  Meaning the actors, the materials the shapes, are all in one folder.  Again, no good.

Not sure what is going on here as to why this happened and why it is refusing to install properly.    I had looked up the artist (creator) on both figures and they are not the same, so I can't blame the person that created the figures.

So, what I want to know now is how to get the characters out of the Lost and Found folder and put them into the Smart Content folder where it belongs.

Content purchased from the store allows commercial use unless it says otherwise on the product page (such as the, now very old, Anne MArie Goddard Digitial Clone for Victoria 3) or has only an Editorial License. Do note that the license is non-exclusive, so if you use the content as-is others are also free to use it, and doesn't include the rights for 3D printing or games use, which might matter if the film was a wild success (most content, however, does have add-on licenses for game use and 3D printing using a one-at-a-time printer, which should cover promotional uses)

just had a look at them and they do seem to fit just as I would expect to Victoria 9. Maybe a little pinch on the bottom of the karta (center hexagon) but thats about it. Just needs some custom paint .  If you check the Whats Included they list out all the morphs supported which may not be in the pictures, and this has all the standard DAZ female shapes in there.

I was just trying the acronym for amusement and found the resultant 3D scribble amusing enough. I've only messed with the AI generator a little and it won't give me the results I want anyway. As I enjoy the setting up of a scene as much as the finished render, I'll stick to my 3D content in Studio.

I met up with this Victoria.  Not Victoria 8.1 or 9, but the one who is at the mall I went to.  Well, she offered me 5 undies for about $20.  They were normally something like $12 or $13 dollars not on sale.

Even at Wally's, undies are expensive!  Wait!  I think everything is getting expensive!

I agree this year's sale is having a "slow start" - by June 6th last year I had spent $81, this year so far nothing. That $81 included Victoria 8 Pro Bundle as a member's "Grab N'Go" offer for $4.99.

Actually I would have spent if the Membership offer had been working with Store Credit last weekend when I had my USC2 20% off and some tokens. I let the tokens lapse instead.

Trying not to go to much off topic here, since the idea of this thread was to focus on news related to Stable Diffusion 3. 

But an interesting point was raised:

users would prefer to have more styles to choose from in the current version of SD run by/for Daz

A style could be provided by

• a LoRA
• a checkpoint

Based on previous advertiments sent out by Daz one idea seems to be to provide LoRA for style:

In this example the "Candle Light" would be a lighting style provided by a LoRA.

The LoRA modifies the results of the checkpoint to alter the generated image with the help of trained triggers.

In theory you could train LoRA with toon or anime styles as shown in the example images by tom.rowlandson.1727.

The question is:

How well do different LoRA work together?

While working with offline local UI solutions I limit myself to three different active LoRA.

Example:

- One LoRA alters the shape of a character.

- One LoRA provides a specific pose for a character.

- One LoRA provides a theme with specific clothing, backgrounds

In some cases LoRA can work together very well if they influence different areas.

In other cases their styles clash with each other based on how they were trained.

There are conflicts because the same tags or trigger words are used etc...

Would a LoRA for Victoria 9 work with a LoRA that applies a toon style?

Would a LoRA that applies a specific clothing work together with one that adds a specific background?

Some people have great skill at training LoRA so it only adds the one element that is needed without influencing anything else.

My guess is that behind the scenes there is currently a lot of learning and testing going on what combinations work and which not...

Checkpoints can provide styles

The current checkpoint available for Daz AI Studio generates images that fall in between 3D and stylized photo retouching.

To create a more toon like look a different checkpoint could be trained with toon renders...

Ultimately, the styles we can get with Daz AI Studio depends on the images Daz has available to train checkpoints and LoRA.

In theory, Daz could make use of this community to provide images rendered in different engines with specific shaders.

I first saw the problem when I fitted them on Tara 2 (which is based on Victoria 8) so I tested if it worked with Victoria 8 then with Victoria 8.1 but almost every tests I did where with the left foot at the center of the screen. I'll follow your advice and will update the morph for Victoria 8.1, will open a ticket and will tried to fix the morph for Victoria 8.

I'm speaking about the shoes from the dForce CB Aycroft Clothing Set for Genesis 8 Females by @CynderBlue.

On Genesis 8 or on non supported characters (I didn't see any problem with a test render with Jacqueline 8.1 when I got her bundle with this set of clothes) everything is fine, but if I dialed Victoria 8 or Victoria 8.1 in, all hell break los… the shoes stop following the foot. I don't have any of the other supported characters to test them.

Those morphs especially Breasts Gone can just perfectly work on G9 Base figure. If you want the breasts 100% gone on other G9 characters, it won't give you expected results, just as you mentioned.

You have to further fix it in external sculpting software if you do need to see 100% flat on the character's chest... like Victoria 9 down below.
