  • HeadShop OneClick Submitted to DAZ - Best in Class! (Commercial)

OK, another comparison of Facegen Pro with OneClick. I still get the RH.OneClick error when I export the morph but if you have the right picture and it's focused picture then OneClick gives as almost good results as FaceGen Pro. You have to get good, unblurry pictures though and it's better to use one focused picture instead of a focused & a blurry picture(s).

Famous Person - Left to Right - FaceGen Pro & Genesis 3 Female | OneClick & Genesis 2 Female | OneClick & Genesis 3 Female

All use the same frontal picture and no profile pictures. I had to manually place to dots on FaceGen pro but OneClick autoselected the dots. I did not check the autoselected dots on OneClick or make other adjustments besides using DAZ Genesis 2 & Genesis 3 Female default textures.

All that said though, it's the FaceGen picture is the one I look at and go, 'That looks like her.' One thing I should add though, is how much of FaceGen's very good likeness of this famous person is copying her expression which seemed to be neutral but actually she does seem to habitually purse her lips.

Does FaceGen give different results between Genesis 2 and 3? I didn't splurge on the FG Pro because the difference was quite steep. But if it works better on G3, I may think about making that plunge.

For everyone: It would be helpful to see the source pictures people are using, if that's ok. The reason why is because of how important the quality and pose of the source pic is for these products. Maybe we could even test each other's pics to see how each of us compare!

I really, really wish One Click/Headshop could blend the created face texture into the skin. It stands out a lot so much. These forehead seems are crazy.

One more thing...I read a response from one user that moving all of their Daz content to one location solved their install problem. But I cannot do that. I have Daz content spread over 2 hard drives because I cannot fit it all on one hard drive. My C drive is a 500GB SSD and it is crammed full. Does that mean One Click will not install for me?

  • HeadShop OneClick (WIN) Download Fails

I tried it all and it still wont work! Very frustraiting!

OK, well you need to contact the developer as I said all the things or other buyers noticed. You can get the developer's Skype name & email address from this thread:

    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/122371/headshop-oneclick-submitted-to-daz-best-in-class-commercial/p4

Also, that developer contact information is probably in the OneClick Support documents.

    Good luck.

It is an installation issue. Please watch the installation movie. Observe where the HeadShop folder should be (inside c:/Program Files/DAZ 3D folder), and where the three other items go (inside c:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4).

Am I missing something here with my installation? 'Enter Licence Key' what licence key? All I have is a zip folder with a 32 and 64 bit installer, and a README2.PDF but no mention of a licence key.

License is in your DAZ/My Account/Serials

    Hello

I tried Headshop OneClick (after never obtaining results with the previous version) but it always crashes with the error messages show below. I'm following the steps in the user guide :

    1. Load G3F

    2. Start Headshop

    3. Select Face, Lips, Head

    4. Select "Add front photo" => error message : Daz model not found (01.png)

    5. Select "Apply" => error message : Microsoft .NET Framework error. (02.png)

    6. Headshop error message (03.png) and nothing appear in the Headshop window.

Can you provide any help ?

    Thanks

do you have to have headshop for this to work? if so i cant get headshop 10.2 at daz anymore?

No you do not need HeadShop 10.2. HeadShop OneClick is sufficient by itself - it is a DAZ plugin.

    Cannot get to function. sad

All that happens when I load the Headshop plug in is it askes for basic settings, head, lips face then click to accept then it just says "can't find the plugin"  I have reinstalled a couple times and it seems all files are where they should be but just won't function.

Pls. watch the install video or read the attached README.

The error in Studio says invalid runtime, so I'm wondering if this has been tested on systems where DAZ Studio is installed to D: and/or using DAZ Connect where each product has its own runtime. I couldn't find a log file in the app data folder, which is a bit disappointing.

Can you provide any help, otherwise I'm afraid I'll be returning the product again.

    Thanks

Caution: HeadShop does not run on beta Studio. Make sure you install to the correct version on your c:drive.

I use the public release, no beta. But Daz Studio is on drive D. I cannot install it on drive C. Does that mean it won't work?

Got home, tried it. If Daz Studio is installed on drive E, the products still works nicely.
No major problems so far. I did manage to crash it, doing the exact same thing I did when it did not crash, but it managed to export everything to Daz Studio before crashing, so I can live with that.
My first impression is that it works well, but I DO need to edit the textures because the colors are way different from the recommended base figure.
So far I'm happy with this. :)

Every time I try to export, faceshop says it has been exported but DAZ says "Headshop closed before it could create the necessary files . . ." This has happened eight times now. sad

  • Infinite Insanity - There's ALWAYS Another Sale! (Daily Sale Talk)

I'd already jumped on the bargains before they possibly disappeared - so I missed out on Lex and Lori. Don't want to buy a new item to get the stacking discount. Bummer.
@Nath why do you want to return headshop? Doesn't live up to expectations?

    I don't know. That's why I asked before buying...

Is the 30-day return guarantee valid for Headshop One-click?

I guess it should be. Why, what's wrong with it? There are very few items I want to get when new, but this is one of them.

As far as I know there's nothing wrong with it, but since it does cost a bit of money, I'd like to have the reassurance that I could return it if it isn't right for me.
