Could you say which morph you have used / show example.
Veins morphs, bodybuilding morphs, etc. Stuff like that.
Wow that is some patch ... dForce SU Medium Length JeansAh, I'm sorry but you don't have to really pass on it. There's another good solution to hide it but show no mesh of the brand patch... by using Conditional Graft. I made them on both of jeans for G8/G9 as well as a smoothing morph... in case you're willing to buy it.
If you have the products then, you can extract the data folder within the attached ZIP file to the root directory of your Daz Library where you install the products.
Then load the jeans and dial the property Hide Brand Patch when you want to hide it. Crank up Smooth Brand Mesh if you want it even more smoother.
Hope the solution helps ~~
That is incredibly generous. Thank you for taking the time to do that.
Genesis 2 Appreciation ThreadGenisis 2 is still one of my all time favorite generations. Some of my favorites: Olympia 6, Victoria 6, Callie 6, Michael 6, The Girl 6, and a few of Raiya's G2F characters, to name a few.
Though there are quite a few more from the Genesis 2 line that I really like. Once you morph the elbow area to be more realistc the figures are fantastic! I had made a custom elbow bend morph for G2 a few years back, sadly it got lost to a failed drive. One of these days I will have to make a new one. A fixed or improved elbow bend really elivates G2F characters.

Can the Sue Yee patch be hidden?
Yes, but there'll be a "shape of patch" left ~~ especially with the light color textures.
I just noticed even in the texture expansion show the patch locations. So I would agree that the patches outlines are modeled into the mesh.
Thanks everyone for your replies. I will have to pass on this product.

A technical question but I don't need a technical replySometimes having "just" an HD morph active is enough to cause pokethru.
A technical question but I don't need a technical replySpeaking as someone who does make clothing, making clothing fits is a complicated balance.
If you're making a fit for a character shape or body morph, do you prioritise fixing pokethrough, or do you prioritise fixing distortion (e.g. creases around the breasts, which might even be outright "boob socks" on some morphs)? You can't do both, because fixing distortion means that you have to move the mesh somewhat over the surface of the body, and that means those clothing vertices no longer entirely aligns with the body vertices they're rigged to, and that discrepancy often results in pokethrough.
Personally, I prefer to prioritise fixing distortion; distortion is very hard to eliminate well without taking it out to a modelling tool. On the other hand, clipping is easily addressed with a tool like Fit Control, loosen morphs or a modest smoothing modifier.
As such, you may find that a lot of vendor created fits compromise on clipping in order to improve the overall shape of the garment.
(In the event that you're finding it still clips with a smoothing modifier active, you can address this by setting the smoothing target to an invisible geoshell on the figure, which you can adjust the offset of as required).
A technical question but I don't need a technical replyCloth should follow the body shape, no matter size, unless it is set to not.
Could you say which morph you have used / show example.
A technical question but I don't need a technical replyIn Genesis, Genesis 2 and some Genesis 3 ... I was able to increase a body part to beyond 100% and most clothing would fit with no poke throughs. Now with Genesis 8 and 9, if I add a muscular morph or a fat morph and even stay within the 100% limits, I get poke throughs.
Why?
Why were older clothing more form fitting then current clothing? And what can be done about this?

How to transfer my DAZ content library from external drive to internal - Windows 11LindaB said:
I bought a new computer and I need to transfer my 4TB DAZ 3D content library from an external drive to my computer's hard drive, but windows 11 can't do the job. It starts to moving the files for a while and then [drops] out, it stops the transfer. Has anyone else run into this prblem trying to transfer a massive library with Windows 11? What can I do?
Sounds like a RAM issue. Windows 11 does use more RAM than Windows 10. Win 11 has a 4GB min whereas Win 10 has a 2GB minimum. But task manmager will show significantly more RAM usage with programs in Windows 11 versus the same programs & services in Windows 10. Extra RAM is always used when coping files from external to internal or vice versa. I have 64 on one machine and 128 on another and use the latter for such transfers. If RAM is your issue, try coping and pasting less data like subfolders vs folders.
Edit: I have two internal ssds on each of my machines but I highly recommend you stick with storing 3D library on external hardrives and have two, one as a backup and one as a working master.
Does anyone recognize this window? Please suggest other simple scenes. In addition to the products that others recommended, if you just need that wall + window, I quickly made one in Blender as attached.
Just merge or drag the DUF file into your scene and add a shader you like. There's a morph in the Prop to tweak hollow windows' size.

So what's the difference between PBRSkin PRO in https://www.daz3d.com/breast-utilities-2-for-genesis-9--pbrskin-pro
And PBRSkin Plus in https://www.daz3d.com/pbr-skin-plus which I already own?
PBRSkin Pro provides a dual-layers system (a new layer on top of the existing layer... for adding sth. like tattoos, marks, scars, etc. without using LIE or geoshells) that PBRSkin Plus doesn't have. There's no other difference AFAIK...
That sounds like a mild improvement. Is there a reason it isn't a separate product instead of being packaged with yet another breast morph product?
Breast Utilities 2 is not a morph product but a texture addon... I think it's one of the reasons that a new shader is binded with it.

I like it, when content is still available for G8.1, as I didn't jump on the G9 wagon. I always hoped that G9 would be more Blender friendly, but there was no approvement in this respect.
As a main Blender user, I transfer the Genesis stuff to Blender. I also transfer V4.2/M4, and G3 to G8/G8.1. So, I have a huge library now, which I need for my project including clothes. So far, I see no use for G9, but there were some great clothes for G9 which I try to fit to G8/G8.1. With dForce this is manageable, but I would appreciate it, if they are also made for G8/G8.1 by default.
Though I don't use G9 very frequently but I don't understand what you mean by "...G9 would be more Blender friendly". How Blender friendly do you expect G9 to be then ?
According to my understandings, Daz is a content provider and so I hoped that they make a figure that can be easily transferred to Blender and other CG programs to use the features there without workarounds.
I have a workflow for G8/G8.1 now and G9 doesn't make this workflow easier and so it brings no benefit to me.I see.... and I agree to some extent. Most of the official bridges don't do well and are seriously lack of bug fixing ~ That's why I only use Blender + Diffeo.
When creating the bridges, they should clearly see possibly changes for G10 to make the bridges much simpler. I would even love to be able to load a Daz character natively to Blender with an importer.
IIRC, you also use Diffeo, correct ? You can directly load or open a native DUF file whatever it's a Scene or Character Preset.... into Blender. Does that help ?
Just my ideas and others may see this differently.
Workflow for making static clothing mesh poseable? There's no other secret... Tutorials are just guidelines while the most important thing is to keep experimenting in DS. For instance, there's no document or tutorial that tells you what each option in Transfer Utility does... and how they work. You have to try with it yourself. The more you do, the more you'll understand.
Besides, though the workflows from different tutorials vary, they all use the standard functions in DS. And don't worry about that the tutorials are not really up-to-date, the processes are more or less the same. A couple of tutorials made by Josh Darling 10 years ago used to help me with significatnly speeding up my workflow ~~
So, we would like to help if there's any specific issue you have... Good luck !

With just one click, import Genesis 3, 8, 8.1, and 9 characters (plus props and environments) directly into Blender. Our Auto Daz Studio Import System handles everything — character pose, facial rig, even lip sync data — with automatic backups and reimport options.
But that’s just the beginning. This add-on includes hundreds of advanced tools for animation, editing, scripting, lighting, green screen keying, and much more — all built to support real animation production pipelines.
Watch the tutorials to see the Auto Daz Studio Import System in action and how we create fully animated scenes in minutes.
And don’t miss the “What’s Included and Features” section below — there's far more under the hood than just import.Note: Install instructions are in the provided Read Me.
The add-on includes 31 panels and an editable, multi-level FAST Right-Click Menu loaded with 200+ tools, all topped off with a Verbose Tooltips toggle at the base that displays live, full descriptions for every button and setting.
Together, it brings nearly 1,000 buttons into Blender:
-
Over 600 buttons come from our own FAST system,
-
More than 300 buttons are contributed by the bundled Diffeomorphic importer,
-
And the remainder comes from two enhanced add-ons:
-
A redesigned Mixamo “Pro” add-on, upgraded for reliability and new features after Adobe’s deprecation of the original,

Hello there,
yes that is correct, this hairstyle is 'front only'.
ToyenWorkflow for making static clothing mesh poseable?Thank you Algovincian, that might actually be helpful because it could go over simple things that I have not learned yet.
Wendy: I know you help a lot, I probably just need to learn a bit more before I can make use of your advice. I did manage to get the first steps done and use transfer weights properly, I just had trouble because the object wasn't coming into Studio in the right location and I had to reexport it from Blender. Small steps. :)
