When? To have a silver star today, you would have to made one purchase above $1 in the last 3 days.
To have a gold star today, you would have to made 2 purchases above $1, one a day, in the last 3 days.

If you haven't made any qualifying purchases in the last 3 days, you have no stars today.
If today, you buy a product over $1 (outlet and quick grab usually counts, but it has to be $1 before the tax) you will have a silver star tomorrow.
If today and tomorrow you buy something over $1 (as above), you will have a gold star on Monday.

This works exactly like golden tickets and punch cards of the past. Today's purchase gives you bonuses in the next days.

It's previous days, if you purchased on one of the previous three days you get a Silver star, on two or three of the previous three days you get a gold star. There isn't curently an indicator, but the prices should tell you which if any you have. Going forward it will continue to be the three days before the current day that count - purchase on eone day, silver star, on two or three days, gold star. It doesn't count more than one purchase on any day as extras, and it doesn't update for purchases during the day.

I love DAZ. I love their products. I love their forum. But sometimes I find their sales quite confusing. And the wording in this weekends "March Madness" is the most confused I've ever been.

Someone needs to be more clear when they do the write ups.

There is mention of having a SILVER or STAR attached to your account. 

And if you have a SILVER star if  you "Purchased 1 of the previous 3 days over $1.

A GOLD star if "Purchased 2 of the previous 3 days over $1.

Purchase what of?  A previous item? Over the previous days?

I checked my account and I have NO stars and I did purchase several items yesterday?

I even put 5 items in my account, went to check out and all items were at their regular price.

You need to clarify where these stars can be found and what exactly is "of the previous".

You need to be more clear where these STARS can be found.

Sorry but I do not need this confusion in my life.

However today is an exception, usually shopping at DAZ is a very pleasant and rewarding experience.

It sems to account for non-MM purchases over the last three days, iif any; certainly I (and others) are getting gold star prices.

I'm with you. There doesn't seem to be an incentive to buy daily, especially when you start without a star. I would have bought Sophia today, as she's nice, but with no star, the price isn't enticing (she's just "nice", not the "OMG! She's perfect and I need her for my project right now" product). Do I care enough to buy OS/QG items today (and possibly tomorrow) in case she's available tomorrow as well? Probably not. So tomorrow, the cycle will repeat itself. With Christmas, we knew it was coming and we would need daily purchases, so it was easy to plan to buy before to get calendar/nice list items from the get-go. And the calendar was a good incetive. With March Madness, there was no hint (in the past, I don't recall any version of Golden Tickets/Doorbusters/Punches), so anyone who wants to participate, is excluded from today's and tomorrow's shopping until they get to the gold star (which, except for the gold star item, is necessary to get any kind of good deals).

It seems that I might be sitting March Madness out, because I'm not sure I want to do (almost) daily purchases of QG/OS items. If there are any good ones on Monday changeover, I might spread them out like you, and I still have my Daz coupons to use, but I'm not positive I'll play. In fairness, though, I just paid nearly $200 to get the remaining collector's edition books in my favorite series ever, so I need a lot more incentives to spend more money at Daz.

So, how do we know which star we have, short of adding something to the cart and hoping for the best? Is the status determined from now going forward, or does it take into account the last three days?

Back then, it was a toss-up between how it looked and the amount of control you had over the images.

Marvel/DC Legend John Byrne bascially took that whole direction to its limit when he did the Star Trek series.

He made original Star Trek comics using images from the 60s television series.

I see you're going with a slice-of-life type comic series. Have you ever considered placing that on Line Webtoon? It looks to be done in that mobile scrolling format.

You can do either character. See the main promo for the Fleet Commander outfit add-on (second link below). It doesn't show the same insignia/belts the characters wear, although one of the other promos shows something close.

For Tarkin use the https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-fleet-commander-for-genesis-9 in the Wagner 9 character bundle. For Thrawn, use the white texture in the add-on https://www.daz3d.com/fleet-commander-texture-add-on. ***Note the add-on has the Editorial License for what should be obvious reasons.*** (Base outfit has the standard Daz 3d license.)

Also for Thrawn apply the blue skin/red eye "Nightcrawler" texture on the human shape. I don't have any of these bundles (I avoid EL products) but I assume it can be used for any G9 shape. 

I am looking for something I saw earlier in searching, it was a window/force field like the ones in Star Trek/Star Wars where they use energy instead of glass etc. It was a part of a wall and appeared to be modular and scalable, but I am not 100% on that part.
