UltraScenery [Commercial]
UltraScenery - Pines has been released... unfortunately the store page is currently showing "Mossy Hollow Botanica" as a required product and that is incorrect. The set requires "Nature Trees Pack 4" by Andrey Pestryakov.
Will post this on the front page of this thread until it is fixed.
Palm Road: Fronds Gone Missingthey are hidden by default, after Andrey Pestryakov products are not very ressource friendly.
just unhide them, before you render.
I'm lost.. Can use someone's help...should be under environments. Folder structure will be by vendor name Andrey Pestryakov.
There are some videos and tutorials that explain content navigation (cant be bothered to link them for you but should be googleable)
UltraScenery [Commercial]Just rendered this one with the new Andrey Pestryakov Stones and Structures https://www.daz3d.com/stones-and-structures
in the background. I think this will be a great addition to ultrascenery.

I love this!
New scene I created with Barbult's great experiments and some tinkering of my own. Used Ultrascenery and also some assets from World Gardens-Japan,
That worked rather well. That building fits into the scene as if it were meant to be there.

It's a magical place.
What a lovely scene, really pretty.
UltraScenery [Commercial]Right Guys, Where’s Lunch?
My latest venture deep into the darkest interior of Ultrascenery. Lake 2 and Oaks 9 from the first expansion bundle. Brown bear by Alessandro AM, with hair by Dforce. Background rocks courtesy of Andrey Pestryakov’s new Stones and Structures set. Acknowledgments to @daveso for inspiring the last bit.
Cheers,
Alex.

A very striking image. Andrey's new set is currently on my wish list. You have inspired me with all sorts of ideas for combining it with my ultra scenes.
Cheers,
Alex.
Andrei Pestryakov's Forest Bundle questionAndrei Pestryakov's Forest bundle, http://www.daz3d.com/forest-bundle, which I love using, but I've never worked much with camera preset until now. I need to do a half winter/half spring scene for a book cover, and the river is the dividing line. Since I didn't load them at the same time and did the one scene first, I'm curious if I can load the lush, green environment into the scene at the exact spot as my winter setting? Will just copying the one environment and cameras and pasting into the other do the trick?
Should work.

UltraScenery [Commercial]First of all, that was an instabuy. I love this as I love all of your works!!!! I was so happy for the Harpwood one too, I already had the Harpwood. And can't wait for an Evergreen version maybe with some mountains around and the cherry on the top if we could get a more customizable feature with our own plants. Still we would love to get another exciting features and variations :)
I'm creating some ecologies using Andrey Pestryakov's awesome pine trees from Nature Trees Pack 4 so there will be an option for evergreen forests soon.
Have you considered his Stones HR 2 product? (https://www.daz3d.com/stones-hr-2) Another amazing product; and the snow material... I wish I could apply it to other objects. I still haven't figured out how he made the snow.
People who make Daz characters (that look too much like their other characters)It's the same for non-character creation.
I think artists like Jack Tomalin, David Brinnen, Stonemason or Faveral are very recognisable for the topics they choose.
Much typically French stuff from Faveral, much very British stuff from David Brinnen, etc.
It's the stuff they know and it's the stuff they love.
Howie Farkes mostly does recognizable nature sets with lots of trees.
That look different from the sceneries Andrey Pestryakov makes; they have distinctive and recognizable styles.

Carrara's Poser Importer Just Keeps Going And Goingsome of those Andrey Pestryakov sets take up to 2 hours to load
yes, oddly if you bring in the individual parts of the forest and align the centres it is much quiicker
saved car scenes load fast too

List of Shader Mixer Tutorials and Recipes WIP please be patient as I update the list...thanks!Is it possible to use DS Shader Mixer to realtime generate a mask (Projection Type: Solid) for texture map so that all surfaces from the top are painted white and bottom are black?
Should be possible: most of my work (and this thread) is in 3DL materials: you'd use a Transform brick to set the gradient to either World Coordinates or Object Coordinates.
