If you look at the product page it says this:

Morphs transferred from Victoria 4 or Michael 4 to Genesis 2 can be used with the following base shapes:

the Generation 4 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Female(s) from Slosh
the V4 and M4 Shapes for Genesis from DAZ 3D (requires transfer to Genesis 2)
the clone shapes (transferred automatically to Genesis 2)

So unless you have the G4 legacy shapes for G2 installed, I think you do need to have Genesis 1 installed so it can use the clone shapes for the transfer.

You want suggestions ? Here it is. Instead of loading the duf files for every scene depending on the content, you can update a database when a new product is installed. That way loading times will be zero as far as morphs are concerned.

Which is essentially the ExP system used in Victoria and Michael 4, which caused a lot of confusion.

Although I’ve not used them much since I bought them in 2022, there are two skin manager products in the store for which the store page states that each works on all of the figures from Victoria/Michael 4 through Genesis 9.  Both are by the same published artist and both are currently on sale.

• Ultimate Iray Skin Manager (https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-iray-skin-manager) – currently $6.79
   
• Ultimate PBRSkin Manager (https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-pbrskin-manager) – currently $11.18.

The route is as follows D:\content\Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Michael 4\Deltas\Morphs++. But this happens to me with some M4 figures, but not all. And I don't understand why some work well and others I simply have to re-inject the morphs, while in this case, the M4 don't even "find" the files in the correct path (!!?)

Michael 4/Victoria 4 te li da gratis la DAZ ma ci sono figure vecchie come David, Star, ecc... che devi avere in libreria (quindi acquistare).

Per cui vedi bene cosa richiede.. e vedi se i materiali sono per Iray (Iray è stato aggiunto qualche anno fa.. potresti essere costretto a convertire i materiali)

Yep, it definitely looks like some assets were forwarded to this project.  I am old enough to remember when they did a LOTR thing a very long time ago (https://www.daz3d.com/aredhel-elf-hair was a piece of it which is pretty much a direct copy of Legolas' hair from the movies.

Michael 4 as Major Cache, and the Flyer Eagle makes for a pretty cool Condor! :)

How many basic dforce t-shirts do my men need?

Looking for G9 clothes a year since G9 came out I'm still struggling to find enough variety to cobble together an interesting outfit, with only one or two options for a suit.

But if I want a pair of sexy lace panties with a little bow on the front, I've got at least 20 to choose from.

I wouldn't even mind if more of the outfits had a slightly unisex element, but don't get me started on the plate armour with high heels.

So true. A lot of what I do features individuals in "average daily life" settings, especially office and professional circumstances, and G9 has been woefully lacking in belevable outfits of that kind for both genders.  As a result, it simply makes far more sense to continue using G3 and G8 as my primary figures and cross-fit the occasional usable G9 asset down to the earlier figures than vice-versa... especially when the prices of new assets continues to go up, up, up.  Ironically, the one thing that G9 has proven to be quite good at supplying is toon-like figures, but even there the preponderance of female assets really limits G9's use as a storytelling medium.  It's really frustrating, and while I don't have acces to DAZ's sales figures, obviously, if I did I would not be at all surprised to find that a large percentage of new DAZ customers download studio, buy a few sexy outfits, and then move on to something else after a short while, thereby skewing the perception of what is wanted away from the long-term user base.

I'm not buying poor quality items 'to show my support' for male garments. I've been a customer here for 20 years now and tried that approach, it didn't work. When something for men looks realistic,  I buy it. When it's not - which is the more often the case - I don't. There's stuff for Michael 4 that looks more like real world garments than we have seen made for G9. 

Stuff that's easier to make gets made more because of the model of the Daz marketplace - new things every day, most every day of the week at low prices. Things that take longer have a lower ROI, and men's garments take longer to make.
