Time would fix her place in making DAZ3d one of the greats in entry level CGI productions. Landing her in blockbuster roles she seems content that she became the go-to gal for the “little peoples art”. Assuring of her place in history as one of the genuinely great role playing models, her legendary chameleon-esque abilities made her hot property indeed. In truth Vicky, while not creating the App that spawned her, seeded the desire for so many to become fans of not only her but all of the follow on characters. She, almost single-handedly created the market.

Millennium Woman Victoria was released in February 1999 almost 20 years ago.

A hundred core figures later, what are your 5 favorite DAZ characters ?

Since the individual parts are additive to the global setting, use one or the other, not both. The global one is usually used on its own, the individual parts allow you to selectively mix them with other character morphs, giving better control over different areas.

There is no real issue to fix, in this case, it's just about knowing how to properly apply the morphs. For this character, the individual controllers are not tied to the global controller, which is not usually the case, but there is always more than one way to do something.

Load a blank Genesis 8 Female character and pick a character slider to use, say, Victoria 8. Dial in 100% and select "Currently Used" in the Parameters tab. You'll see "Victoria 8 Body" and "Victoria 8 Head" also at 100%. Now slowly drop down the Victoria 8 slider and the other two will also drop accordingly. You can still control each one individually, but that breaks the link (sometimes) until you set them all to the same value again (0 or 100%). Here, if you load Victoria 8, but want to mix the head with another character, you might need to dial back only the Victoria 8 Head, and add the other's. Having both at 100% might give unwanted results because the two morphs together might cause too much distortion in the mesh.

Now, srry if this is not the right place to ask that question someone can move it to the right place if this is not the one, ok, i'm new on using daz studio and after see some really cool things i ended want to buy some bundle, but you know due to how cool this place is, i ended getting a good ammount of the stuffs inside the bundle for free like the victoria 4 bundle, i've already have some of the products then my question is if have a way to take some a discount in the bundle price based on the stuff which i'm already have, becase is weird have to pay 2 times for the same product and i know which i can have the option to buy separated the stuffs which i don't have but doing that could means pay more than the bundle itself.

I'm saying that because others places like blizzard store or steam and others online stores you have that sort of option of when you already have some of the stuffs included in the bundle you get a discount in the bundle based on that stuffs price then you can buy now what you need most in the bundle to later buy the remains stuffs in the bundle, i already did a lot of that and it can help a lot.

my question is if we have that option here? and if not have any plans to add it???

Glad I could help! I used to do this all the time with Generation 4 items and Genesis 8 figures. However, I now also own SY V4 & M4 Clone for G8, because it often does work better that way.

Holy Crap...I didn't even realize how many they'd put out.  It makes my total of 8 of them look like small potatoes. :)  Nevertheless, I was surprised I didn't get a purple banner of some sort.  I usually get something like that.

Looks like in DAZ world females are either pretty young girls, sexy vamps or crinkled old hags. While men can be anything in-between and a lot more.

I would say Victoria 8 has an apparent age somewhere over 30, maybe 35 or more, and many of the other gen 8 females with a pro bundle to their name are older, many above 40.

How you do that in aussie dollars, i'll never know - LOL!!!

Not saying that I know for sure, but it LOOKS like 1-9 or 10 bundles get zilch, 10 or 11-19 get the 30%/$60 free and the 20+ bundlers get the largest 50%/$100. That's my two cents anyway ;)

I've been using Daz3d since October 23rd, and I've never once opened a tutorial or sought help from Google.
Last night I figured out dForce. It took all night, but I got it. Attached is a quick 2-hour render with some noise filtering from GIMP.
My experience may not be typical, but I don't believe the software is that difficult to figure out. I should admit that I enjoy doing tedious things, though. These poses, for instance, are done by hand.
Now, I should also mention that I am not an artist by trade. This is the first software of its kind I've ever picked up. I'm a writer, and started using the software just as something to do when I hit a wall or needed to rest my brain. After just a few months, I'm now looking at doing my own book covers. My previous cover artist kept telling me about all these things that this software couldn't do. I'd ask for something (I felt) was reasonable, and he'd say that you couldn't do it in Daz3D. I'd point out some pants or something, and he'd say
"That's for an older model and won't work for the one I use."
With my total lack of experience and my open mind, I've gotten victoria 4 stuff to fit on a Genesis 8 figure, without the shrink-wrap, and rendering nicely. I now have the freedom to produce high-resolution images that my artist refused to do, and as long as I'm willing to work with it, the sky's the limit on what items I can use.
Daz 3D lacks good organization of its catalog. That's my biggest complaint. Search for something simple like "Jeans" and you'll get some results, but you won't see ALL the jeans that are available. Secondary is a lack of good everyday-type clothes and realistic fashions, but I think dForce is starting to make those easier to do. I wish layering were a bit easier, but I've found a nice script in the store that ought to solve my problems. While I'd love for all clothes to just WORK with any figure, I got the time to make it work if its something I really like. Auto-fit could use an update though. I got the Rawr! outfit, and that hat just loses all of its posability if I use autofit on it.
I haven't found the interface especially difficult. Now, if they could just add in a render engine that's AMD-friendly, I'd be one happy renderer!

Customising it not using Smart Content seems to me (just to be clear, I loath it so am biased) the way forward; Visual Menus is what Smart Content should have been. Visual Menus is way smarter - and simple to use, and there is no need to mess with the database, or where content is stored (which I do anyway with my own setup). In effect, I can arrange menus to contain content as I want it.
