My note was a follow up for the Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials that were mentioned a few threads up not the SickleYield/Fuseling products mentioned.

What are the current file versions for Furisode Genesis and Furisode Genesis 2 Female?

There was an update that just went live to fix an issue on the right sleeve of the Genesis version when translating on the X axis.

Submit a ticket. It sounds like you got a bad version of the zip somehow.

I've come across a strange effect on the right sleeve of the Furisode for Genesis and I wondered if anyone else has seen this, or if it is a problem with my setup.

With the Fursisode main part conformed to Genesis, If I move Genesis along the x-axis the right sleeve bends sideways. The left sleeve isn't affected and moves along the y and z axis do not do anything like this.

After moving Genesis the Left-Right values are changed on the sleeve sections, they were all zero before. Setting each one back to zero makes the sleeve hang as before but using the Zero Figure option in the parameters menu has no effect.

I just found that if I move Genesis by selecting the hip instead of the body this does not happen. It also does not happen with the Genesis 2 version, only Genesis 1.

It isn't really a problem as long as I remember to move Genesis from the hip only, but it is very odd.

I am attaching a render of this with a basic Genesis, no morphs and no posing adjustments on Genesis or the Furisode.

No, I actually don't. I tend to ignore manuals if they aren't for shaders.

I read over on DA that Sickle added the manual because the sleeves are tricky to pose, so it has some good advice on posing them (I'd guess. I'm just now downloading it)

I've got Furisode for Genesis and I really like it, but I can't find how to pose sleeves like on promos
here or there. I wonder if somebody can give me any pointers on which bodypart/morph combination works for such poses (arms in front of torso).

...a lot of us have been wishing for full dynamic control in Daz. Would pretty much solve several issues with the autofit tool concerning skirts, trains, sashes, aprons, and large sleeves (such as those on a furisode). Also, it just looks more natural than conforming.

While pre-posing in another application is the only option for now, it has it's pitfalls especially if the main scene has an irregular floor plane, or the character is sitting on, leaning against something in the scene and/or is supposed to have a prop(s) in hand.

Once converted to an .obj, the character and clotting is frozen in that pose.

Still hoping someone will come out with a traditional fitted furisode kimono. The dynamic one doesn't scale properly

I think I saw somewhere that someone was working on them (or at least a furisode), but I don't remember where, or how long ago, and I don't want to say who in case I'm mis-remembering that. (If it is who I remember, it's someone very good at doing stuff that people really wear.)
