There's another thread now that talks about install problems. I've had lots of problems with Headshop OneClick such that I abandoned it, and I do have FaceGen Artist Pro already, so looks like I'm skipping Headshop 11!

yeah ... i never bought Headshop 1-10 ..and to have to buy 11 at $50 to get a discount on stuff I don't need is a no go.

THE GOOD: I will save a lot of cash here today by not spending any. 

Bought Headshop 11 Full since it now advertizes it can convert photos with smiles.  Purhcased it and tried to install it.  Asking for a key.  No key file came with the purchase.  No key file emailed to me and no produict key in the "My Serial Numbers" tab in my account page.  also shows to have a DIM option that does nto work.  Anyone else having this issue?

70% off gofigure products is a great discount . But to get the 70% off, you need to buy a new release. Which would be fine accept there appears to only be 2 new releases offered in the sales banner that triggers the discounts. Sooooo Seeming headshop is something i do not require or need (EVER) that it is just puzzling to me to offer just 2 new releases that are so specialized with out other offers for those who have no interest in the only 2 new releases offered.  Really only 2 new releases?

So no sale.from me today . I would have bought 10 items from gofigurer other wise today I had wishlisted.   But what a ridiculous notion  to offer only 2 products.   Good luck with that!  I hope you daz guys plan a flash sale to make up the loss from the lack of enthusiasm from this cybre Mondays sale

I really like FaceGen.... can't speak to recent HeadShop as I got off that train a few versions ago .... I'll wait for either the high praise results or more likely the usual complaints and dissappointment from early adapters. 

I'm pleased to see this thread as I have FaceGen Artist Pro and I was thinking of buying Headshop as I assumed it would be better! I won't bother now as the consensus here is that the former is the better product. I've actually been disappointed with FaceGen as way too much fine-tuning is required to get the character to look close to the photo, plus as someone else above mentioned, the head always seems too large or fat on the body. But what surprises me about the various Headshop versions' promo images is that some of the faces don't look at all like the photos! I also don't understand why they show a frontal view photo and then a part-profile rendering, or why they use non-matching hair. I want to see a front view rendering of a front view face so the two can be properly compared. Ditto profiles. [Naughty aside: are their promo staff ex-Facadebook? I ask that as Facadebook aka Fastfoodbook aka Fakebook apparently have a brain-storming team whose objective is to come up with the best idea to make the interface that little bit worse than it was previously! The most illogical and/or impractical idea always wins!].

Am I right in thinking that the Headshop 11 upgrade does not work with Headshop Oneclick?

In the support thread for 10.x the author of Headshop said it was because your DAZ Studio installation was not done to the default location. You should file an official ticket with DAZ support to get the PA recommended work around for that bug.

The author of Headshop 11 said that bug though is remedied in the Headshop 11 version in a thread he started in the forums a month or two ago.

I'm not sure but not that I remember. Best ask that in your ticket too. I returned my copy because the return period expired.

I know that FaceGen Artist Pro does create body textures to match the face textures & will even blend the texture it creates from oOR-ing the source photograph with it's own generic source textures with a set of DAZ model textures in your DAZ Library. Eye textures too. The only thing that FaceGen Artist Pro doesn't do that a user might plausibly expect is create Anatomical Elements textures to match the other textures created.

I suppose that could be solved though be desaturating 100% the color from another character's Anatomical Elements, creating a cutout mask using that AE texture, and then making a translucency mask using the torso texture to recolor the AE that were desaturated of color in the earlier stop. Something like that. Better ask a Photoshop or Gimp expert on that then me.

And that includes PC+ items, so you can get away with a $2.79 new release to unlock those discounts.

Anybody reading this thead do animations inside Daz? If so, will I use either Keymate or Graphmate when I finally get around to learning aniMate2? (Bought it last July, and I still haven't tried to use it!)

No, that's not Headshop 10. Version 10 is probably not in the store anymore now that 11 is released.

Headshop 10 has not been in the store for months. It was removed when Headshop One click came along. This is why this seems a strange upgrade offer, when you need to to have a product that has not been for sale for some time.

I do have headshop 10 (the upgrade from 9), but it fails to install for me. I mentioned this to DAZ, but they said the item was no longer in the store and I should contact the PA. In the meantime headshop one click came along, so I did not pursue the non-working upgrade version.

If you have facegen, you need not headshop. And the last two updates were not worth their money.

Yep, it's not in my serial numbers list here. I've noticed the full Headshop 11 stopped being available in the shop about half an hour after my initial message so maybe there is a problem with it? The upgrade is the only product still for sale at the moment as far as I can see.
