Intriguing render - pulls the reader in with the DOF foreground elements.  Twilight Zone-esque with a hint of Magritte.  Well done.

Gopherus  #03 THEY RE BACK!
Very imaginative use of the items pulled.  The poinsettas in the bubbles is very clever.  The splash of color against the desaturated palette is very artistic.  

aki3d Pull #2 HELLMOUTH
Vivid red, the hands coming up from the earth, great choice to cast the the central character in cool colors (Dante-esque) is a very wise choice to make this image stand out from other hell-themed renders.

OBanion_02 Forget the Blood!  I Need Coffee!
Fun dialogue - great way to spin your 'go-to' genre into an RRRR scene.  Composition is good, using the forground element to frame out the scene.

adamsrobt Pull #3 Recurring Dream
The play of light and shadow is gorgeous.  Composition is spot on - two columns, two arched windows, two lovers to really bring the eye to them.  Great work.

Totte: #4 The Bot Doctor
Great choice to use sepia tones to give this sci-fi take a touch of a steampunk flare along with the goggles and clothing.  The fog is really well done to give this image depth and ambiance.

Bunyip02 Draw # 5 The Spell
I like the young boys incredability conveyed in the pose. The story is there before you read the text. Great pose and use of elements.

If these are store products make sure there hasn't been an update. If you instal manually, through Daz Central, or through Install Manager then load the base figure (ideally the devLoad version if there is one), Edit>Figure>Zero>Zero Figure Shape, Edit>Figure>Memorise>Memorise Figure Shape, File>Save As>Spport Assets>Save Modified Assets (and note the items listed as that should identify the guilty parties for reporting to the store or artists).

There is an option, though not one that should be mixed with using Install Manager, to download an installer and run it directly instead of using the install manager application. That uses dzinstall.ini to store the places to which it installed the applications, so the install managers look to see if that exists and if it does they use it to find the application. It is better not to mix stand-alone installers like these and DIM or Daz Central.

 How can I directly download Daz Studio without using Daz Manager or Daz Central? I have a vague memory of downloading Daz Studio directly from the Daz website, but I can't find anything similar on the website or maybe I'm just bad at searching for it

As I said, it is not recommended. It is especially likely to eb a bad idea when the existing install method is causing issues.

So, there's no solution to this problem? I'm really desperate, I don't know what else to do to solve it.

All I am saying is that the message about dzinstall.ini is not important and can be ignored. It is information on context, not an error that needs resolving.

Maybe it has nothing to do with what you said, but I remember having downloaded directly from the official site an .exe that allowed me to install Daz Studio without Daz Central or DIM. I don't know if it's still available, but I think that had solved this same problem.

I purchased Ron's Hydro Explosion photoshop brushes. The asset does not appear in DIM or DAZ Central for downloading.  The option for manual install does not work in the DAZ page. How do I download it?

That OP's assumption might be correct. These workarounds are really worth trying: install a DS copy via Central or offline install the DS IM package in DIM.
I think the SSL certificate / activation should come from a VC++ library. Both of DIM and DS packages include VC++ redistribution pack but issues may be still incurred case by case...

Jenner2005 - I've had nothing but issues with attempting to do a fresh install on my machines.  The issue is the same for both the PC and Mac OS using W11 Pro and Monterey.  I did not bother with using Daz Central, but attempted at least 8 times on each platform to go direct from DIM.  DIM installs fine, but Daz Studio refuses to install after the download....and let's not get started on anything related to PostgreSQL/CMS nightmare.  I thought at first it may be an Apple thing, but was proven wrong when I switched to W11.

I hope you're able to get this figured out to share some insight with some of the rest of us who have rolled out efforts to complete fresh installs.

Daz Central and DIM share settings, where applicable, so I am not at all sure why that would happen - assuming it wasn't missing the UAC prompt of similar.

You're right, I mistyped.  I used DAZ Central to install Studio, then DIM started working.

It's not the downloads, once I got Studio installed through Connect  Central everything else downloaded fine. All I can recommend for those still unable to install Studio itself is to use the alternate method of DAZ Central to put Studio in, then use DIM to install your content. 

No, Daz Studio can uninstall only content it itself installed. Why not install Daz Central or Daz Install Manager, tel them where the manifests are if you don't have the paths set anymore, and let them uninstall?
