dForce behavior.
Not quite clear what you are doing, but try turning Self Collide to Off (surfaces pane under simulation group).
Hi RGcincy
Thank's for the tip.
Victoria is wrapping a tape measure around her wrist. I got a better result with Collision Mode in "Best - Continuous: CCD". His tip also helped to improve. Now I need to solve the penetration problem.

Bath towel and poses for victoria 8Hello,
I know that this product https://www.daz3d.com/bath-towel-and-poses-for-victoria-8 was orginally designed to be used with V8 but I was wondering if it could in any way be used with G3 characters also or would poses and morphs just be too far off?
Thanks!
dForce behavior.Hello everyone! Why is my tape measure in this behavior?
I applied dForce. With or without soft modifier, the result is the same.
While there is no contact with Victoria, the result is great!
Collision settings?
Tks!

GenX2 error messageOk. Did some more testing. I can get it to do transfers from Genesis 2 Male to Genesis 3 Male but that's all. I have plugins for David 3, Victoria 3, Michael 3 and etc but it won't do the transfers. I try David 3 to G2M and I get this error message: "Could not find intermediate figure definition. Error creating morph from clone." I try David 3 to G3M and I get "Target figure is not supported for selected source figure or shape." Nor will it let me load M4 has a source figure. The DLL file I have installed is the GenX2 version. The GenX Dll file is nowhere to be found on my system so I don't think that's the issue. Can someone please tell me why it's not working. It was working fine up until last couple of weeks. I tested out another transfer script that managed to erase any DSF files. To my knowledge I've got all of that restored.

question towards Genesis general(any of then1,2,3,8) and characters interactive licenses.Sorry, no - I meant you would need licenses for all the content used, including the base figure.
you means if i want to use let's say the victoria 8 pro bundle besides it own "license which i know i have to buy it, i also have to buy the g8 essential base figure license aswell?, not jus victoria 8 pro bundle, right??? i have to buy both licenses right?.

characters which don't have a requeriment are considered "Stand Alone products????(you don't need A or B or C to use it).
Low-Res V3 and M3Using Window > Scenes > Scene Info in Daz Studio, I am seeing:
Victoria 3 / Michael 3: 74510
Victoria 3 RR / Michael 3 RR: 24406
For comparison:
Victoria 4: 66830
Default Genesis 8 Female: 65472
I don't have the Lorenzo Lorez figure, but from the product page, it comes in between 5000 to 5500 polys.
As for which would be best for crowd scenes, it suppose it depends on how big the crowd is, and how far away. From what I can see, the reduced resolution figures look better than the Lorez figures at a medium distance, and you have a wider choice of clothing, hair and poses from the generation 3 figures. However, the Lorez figures are much fewer polygons and appear to have their own low poly outfits included. I think that if I needed a big crowd scene, and I couldn't use any of the billboard products, I would likely go for the Lorenzo Lorez or other figures from that series.
Low-Res V3 and M3What's the polygon count on these products compared to the LoRez characters series?

I'm wondering if these would work better for crowd scenes.
Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 12Akira (G8F) The Legend (G3/G8F) Jepe's Art Deco Statuettes III (V8) Aged Leathers For Iray
IG Beautiful Darkness Poses (G8F) Confident Poses (Eva 8/G8F) DA Real World Lighting dForce Anime Ninja Outfit (G8)
Rachel Hair (G3/8F)I turned down the glossy reflectivity and increased the roughness because Akira has a lot of shine in her skin.
I wanted to have fun with the Statuettes product as I had never used it. The Aged Leathers Iray is fun to use for the "lamp" section behind it. There's a light bulb behind that geometric area. I used the Aged Leathers on everything, including the pedestal. Each section of the geometric section is individual material zones, which is nice. The hair is The Brides Hair from another site, and I really like it! It can go straight up like Frankenstein's Bride, or you can make it much smaller and tightly curled, as shown. The streaks have different color options and this matches the purple eyeshadow Akira is wearing. Akira has varied makeups, including more fantasy.
Take a second peek at the Ninja Anime Outfit, it has some nice materials and the main promos make it seem cartoony. The thumbnails show it on regular people.
One thing I wish vendors would do: note Akira's materials that I used include the body and NECK. Why do white face makeup and not have the second option of the white face makeup and INCLUDE THE NECK/TORSO or FULL BODY?
This isn't the entire Legend Outfit.
You can expand the geometric area and have a nice background for portrait renders.
Fit Control for Genesis 8 (Commercial)Hi. Can you explain? What characters does it not work on?
Hi, I can't quite recall at this point but I know the character was called by another name by default although it was a G8 character. If I notice it happening again, I'll let you know.
On that note, does this work on Victoria 8 characters?
3D Comic Book Tips And PicturesThanks for the feedback. The post work you did on the hair does improve the image. Did you use a custom brush in Photoshop, or some other method?
So far I have been trying to create comic images using software, without any drawing at all. I think maybe it's time I see what happens if I try combining different methods with some drawing work in Photoshop as well. I have found that I can pretty much get all the layers I need out of Daz, (colour, mask, flats, shading, ambient occlusion, etc.) so it saves me having to export into Unity. Although I do miss the Unity MKToon materials that do give some great comic book effects as well as toon outlines.
I really like the Victoria 4 and Michael 4 character results, they seem more suited for comic book images. I just wish the clothing system was as easy to use as genesis figures. I think I may try an image with M4 and V4 together in some sort of fantasy image, with some sort of fantasy creature, complete with a background.
I took a look at TopazStudio. The base software is free, which is cool. Which plugins would you recommend for achieving the best artistic results?
Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to quote professional comic book artist Brian Haberlin (he also uses Poser in comics that he creates and that have been published by Image Comics): When using Poser, "there's ALWAYS hand work!" In other words, once you get your renders, you will ALWAYS need to do a little touch-up. As for her, I didn't use any brush at all. I just used the selection tool and drew a quick squiggle across her hairline and then filled it with white. I did this because her hairline in the original was so straight that I thought she was wearing a headband. Just a few imperfections made it look more realistic. Ditto for those loose strands: I just used the selection tool and "drew" random hair strands and filled them with black. Or I used the selection tool to "cut" white areas out of the hair near the bottom. I really only spent a tiny amount of time on it. I spent more time downloading/saving and then uploading the file.
If you'll forgive me using my "teacher voice" for a moment (I feel self-conscious doing it because I'm certainly not an expert or qualified to teach anything in this subject), but if you can accept the fact that you'll always need to do just a little bit of hand work / touch-ups on your art, then I think you're ready to focus on things like panel composition and storytelling (and yeah, I should have those thumbnails I promised you soon).
Back to "normal voice," I totally agree that both V4 and M4 really have shapes that lend themselves well to comic books. But if you want to see a "classic" superhero, check out the really old Michael 3 body! There is something VERY comic bookish about his dimensions and shape. In other words, his body is very "heroic." However, there are a lot of limitations regarding expressions and movement, so I don't recommend using him as a principle character in a comic. A background figure or secondary character, though? Yeah, M3 is still pretty darn good.
TOPAZ STUDIO: I bought both Impression and Simplify and seem to be using Impression the most. However, these aren't cheap: They are about $140 (I might have also picked up "edges" for $15). So far Impression is the one I use most, but it's $99. You would definitely need to decide it's worth the investment.
Talk more later, bud!
genesis 8 & 3 animal peoples for both gendersi would love to see some g8 and g3 version of those products or something similar(same type of creature) to then with a little less cartoon look (little more realistic look in some cases

also updated versions (g3&g8) for that ones:
https://www.daz3d.com/creatura-the-black-widow-for-v4 (this one with both gender like centaur)
https://www.daz3d.com/creatura-the-harpy-for-victoria-4
also since we have some centaurs and others "half" something breed creatures then would be cool to have this one too:
a halkf scorpion ceuntaur like creature:

that would be cool and again for both gender
would be cool if the creator could make updated version of that ones, or someone else make something like that, we need more "diversity" in races would be cool.
