I guess I assumed most of the figures are intended to be models. Models rarely conform to society averages for height (and other measurements); so it never really bothered me. I can use the height sliders in the Genesis 8 Male Body Morphs or Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs (which I prefer) to make adjustments and have the Scale parameter if those sliders aren't enough. And I have no expectation that any pose creator is going to be able to account for all the possible variations in body sizes; so pose packages (for me) have always been a base to start from rather than the end result.

Back in the days of Victoria 3 & Michael 3 (possibly V4 & M4 as well) the supermodel idea was true.  In saying that I am speaking of adults, not children.  As time has gone on we have seen a wider range of people in the characters.  For eample, we now have more mature as well as senior citizens. 

when i buy a Genesis 8 character, like Vladimir 8, does he bring in support morphs for the anatomicals, like the eyebrows, and the other anatomicals?

It depends on the character and whether or not it would require a custom support morph.

when creating a support morph for Victoria 8,  do you include the scaling in the morph deltas? 
or do you add the scaling separate?  if so, how do you copy scaling to the skirt?

As a rule it’s better not to include scaling in a morph. If the original character uses a combination of scaling and morph then the support morph needs to be created for the unscaled version.

The could not find messages mean just that - there's a link, in this case to Victoria 8, from the Smoother V8 20L ansd Smoother V8 20R morphs which cannot be resolved as you don't have Victoria 8 installed. Since it's a correction morph that is needed only when Victoria 8 is installed and applied that is harmless.

The messages have nothing to do with the Duplicate Formulas alert, you should be able to find log entries for those too.

Are you able to use more than one coupon at once? I'd like to grab the Dallas Bundle and today, I get an extra 10% off as a Victoria 8 owner and I thought I'd try to use one of my Platinum Club discounts to drop the price a bit lower but it's not working. Maybe it's just not eligible for discounts which is fine. I'm just asking for general knowledge. Can you double dip?

I have found a problem when I use DAZ ,it really confuse me ...

When I load some scene with G8F charactar ,or even open a new G8F charactar ,it took so much time ,and finally load it done and nothing is wrong in scene,but with a note everytime

One thing also to consider is that normally even in the busiest emergeny rooms, they have curtains for privacy. may i suggest a "Privacy field" that is a grey forcefield slightly translucent but that will block vision when enabled? Modelling wise, it would be a simple set of panes with the right shader setting but it would add to the belivability if used in a story.  We can even claim they are sound-proof for added privacy. *chuckle* Who will know expect Michael and Victoria? :)

I have 20 and all but Genesis 8 Female Base and Victoria 8 are Toon Characters so I've been a bit obsessive myself. I didn't think I had so many but they're so good.

21 I guess really since Cartoonized for Genesis 8 Female essentially creates a new character but that's sort of iffy though cause it's not a character by itself.

In fact after telling myself I wasn't going to buy Toon Boy, Toon Girl, Toon Hero, Toon Larry or the toonish Gustave HD for Genesis 8 Male and Emil for Genesis 8 Male but buy all of them I did, The only Genesis 8 toon character I haven't gotten yet is Toon  Dad and it's on my list now. Arguably Carryn 8 HD for Genesis 8 Female, Tobyn 8 HD for Genesis 8 Male, and Babyfication for Caryn 8 and Tobyn 8 are all cartoon type characters on my buy list.

I had told myself at first only 3DU toon characters or DAZ Originals toon characters but you see that plan was a flop!

There are two Evangeline Lilly characters that I know of. Both are for Victoria 4 though.

7 G8F characters.

Do you have a favorite generation other than G8? I remember converting Victoria 4 for a bit when the GenX products first came out, and they transferred nicely. 

I kind of prefer G3, they seem to me to handle expressions better. But also I don't really buy female characters, I only have 17 G3F characters. And I only have Monique's pro bundle and a few other female characters for G8F.

Edit: I do have 52 G8M characters, however.

Since the average male is around 5'9", and the average of all these heights is just under 180 cm / 5'10", these figures much more accurately represent real men. On the other hand, the average height of all the Daz women is 171.36 cm / 5'7.5", which is not only much taller than the average real female, but almost as tall as the average real male.

There are also more distinct outliers on either side. The Brute is exceptionally tall, which is the exact intent of that character, but it's much easier to find men who are as tall as Darius or Vladimir than it is to find women as tall as Victoria or Tasha. Mr. Woo is much shorter relative to real men than Mrs. Chow is relative to real women. However, Toon Dwayne is where things go completely off the rails. At 4'11", he is not only the shortest Daz base figure there is; he is not only shorter than Mrs. Chow, an elderly Chinese woman; he is not only shorter than all of the teenage girl characters; he is actually shorter than the cute, cartoony females like Kanade and the Girl. Meaning that these characters 

all TOWER over this one:

This is completely bonkers. My wife is 5'1", which is below the average, but a perfectly normal height for an adult woman. She is shorter than all but one Daz female characters, including all of the supposed teenagers. Conversely, more than half the Daz women are above average female height, with at least five of them being in the top 1%. Take a look at this chart to get an idea of how nuts this is, and THEN factor in that the data is over ten years old and from the US, which is already on the higher end of the scale in terms of height. In some parts of the world, tiny old Mrs. Chow would be solidly average in height.

You should try the poses optimized for the height that you want to use.

Naw, most character specific pose sets are just glamour stuff, or else sci-fi or fantasy, and that's fine, but not for everyone.  With some kind of pose utility like Ultimate Pose Mixer, it's far easier to find a pose that does sort of what you want and then make adjustments.  Pose, lock, unlock body part, adjust body part, lock, unlock next body part, etc.  I use UPM on just about every figure in every scene now.

Also Kanade 180 cm?  That's just nuts.
