I recommend still picking up the other Victorias even if you don't install/use them. That way you'll qualify for banners like the one today in the future. I believe that for Victoria's birthday (for example) if you own all the Victorias you often got another type of incentive.

Not to mention.. The skin textures. Especially the Genesis 3 version (Victoria 7) works perfectly fine on Victoria 8, and vice versa!

Genesis 8 really is more like Genesis 3.05 than a radical improvement. Even whether it is a noticable qualitive improvement is debatable. But, it's actually really nice that the skin textures are so interchangable. A change of skin can radically alter a characters' appearance, and there adding some Genesis 3 / Victoria 7 skins can exponentially increase your option for appearances.

Useful for those who want to keep the distinct looks of the base characters. V7 looks different to me than V8.

I don't understand the file system for DS. Files are not text-based. I expected to find huge files but found only small ones. And no obj!

It's sort of easy to miss in today's banner as the free Victoria offer is still live, but today you can pick up a dragon/dragonesque figure for $0.00 with a new release, including Daz Dragon 3 :)

I agree! V7 is top flight and earlier Vickies are useful, too.

You can either load V7 for V8 on top of the selected base G8F and get a figure that otherwise behaves like a G8 but looks like a V7, or you can load a new figure, in which case you'll end up withe the same thing.

It gives you sliders under the Shaping tab. If you start with a G8F and dial the Victoria 7 sliders to 100%, your G8F will otherwise behave like a G8F but look exactly like a V7.

Wow ended up with "1130,70$" worth (not including the PC+ monthly Freebie) for about 8.50$ which includes 3 DO items off my wishlist totalling almost 90$ for a whopping 75¢ (something like a 99% discount on each, not sure what triggered that particular deep discount, but not complaining).

yes yes it does worked for me and went a little over so used my non daz coupon for over $18 didn't get the full extra 6 off but that was fine pretty good deal really there was a fair bit to choose from and there was extra discounts me thinks

Try putting in the banana suit and the 70% off new item (resto shop) in your cart, then add a few select DO's and see what happens...

Also, were you able to use your April Plat club code 4 times, 3 times, or did you use a different code for the 'bonus' coupons?

...I had both so is that what knocked the price of the 3 DOs I had in the cart down to a total of 75¢ from nearly 90$? 

Im also PC + and although the honorary PC offer has been extended (which is awesome!) it doesn't make any difference for me and there doesn't seem to be any extended bonus for PC members, so no fun for me today!

I feel Daz is already very generous so I'm torn because I was pretty excited about grabbing a particular new release today. (It's Gutz don't judge me.) Just seems like I could probably wait on it for a day or two to see if any other sales pop up rather than whining about not being able to take advantage of this one. What are your thoughts?

Have you checked your Messages? Onsite messages, (banners, currently Purple,) have to be in your Inbox to show up as a banner. And sometimes the message is there but the banner isn't. These messages are usually in the Exclusive Messages inside your inbox.
