Poses for His Shirt for Genesis 3 Female
I agree.
Of course I'm struggling to find these pose sets and I think they should have been linked directly in the description above.

Not so sure about this last one. My browser extension says arrival day March 25th for all of these products so I think they must have been related.

VladJust curious butwhat is the added value of making this character not compatible with Genesis 8
To me (and maybe im wrong) this is bad because nothing works out of the box. Every other asset/hair/clothing/etc. risks needing soem extra fiddeling to make right.
He did Leon which is a good looking teen and said he would make more assests which never happened (as far as i can see)
So why would I go for a character like this?
All poses for Genesis 8 will work fine with this guy out of the box, maybe with some minor tweaks, as for all custom Genesis figures.
Well i dont count poses as in 99% of the cases they always need some tweaking. Every figure has a different height so Michael 8 and victoria 8 shaking hands may work out of the box but when you switch to monique 8 the arm pose needs some tweaking. I understand that.
But im talking more about clothing and hair.
I understand he goes for a different look and that I respect. I just try to understand why he puts so much time and energy in a character that is potentially so limited in what you can do.
And to clarify i am not trying to hate or bash on your product. There are PA's out there who make characters that all look the same or sisters and that's fine.
But im just wondering if you can have Vlad look like Vlad with the G8 as a base making your product way more (and easier) compatible with all the great stuff that is out there.Genesis are awesome, but they don't give me the creative freedom I need.

After making the clothing, do not reapply the fit to option causing it to be parented. Sometimes I have found that premature parenting causes the fly over the head result. Save the clothing, then reapply the fit to with parenting, then resave the clothing.
problem getting the transfer utility to convert obj files into clothing items. Are the character you are using the base character, e.g. G8F Base?
If so, try to show your transfer rigging settings.
i think i might actually have the victoria "body" morph dialed up. will that cause a problem?

Alawa 8
+1 I couldn't have said it betterSpeaking only for myself, the bundle and the character are related but separate issues. I judge the character based on whether it will add to the pool of "actors" for the "cast" of my 3D dramas and comedies. Most Daz3D numbered characters (Victoria 8, Michael 7, David 5, Aiko 6, etc) are designed to be lead actresses and actors. Yay, two thumbs up for lead actors and actresses. There is a reason they usually get paid more than supporting actors and actresses. But my 3D dramas and comedies need character actors and actresses as well. I need some Thomas Mitchels and Thelma Ritters. Thus the common complaint late in the figure cycle that we don't "need" another 20-something female hottie. The occasional Floyd 8 or Mrs. Chow 8 is most welcome.
But I feel no urgency to evaluate or buy the characters models during the release sales. They are often included in later "Daz Content" sales. If I like Mrs. Chow for her contribution to my cast gene pool, but don't like the rest of the bundle, I can delay purchase of the Mrs. Chow figure with little regret. I can get her in a future sale.
The bundles are different to me. The bundles sometimes offer a good discount compared to what can be gotten later. They also sometimes have a theme for the next drama or comedy to be produced. But the bundles can come with stuff I don't anticipate ever wanting. Its not worth it to get useless stuff at a steep discount. On this, everyone's tastes and needs differ.
During the introductory period I judge the newest bundle release by what the marketing department has bundled with it, and what the sales department has allowed me to add in as part of the purchase or at steep discount.

Why no i13's works any more?Lest we forget the first of the "couples" creators Aeon Soul started way back when Victoria was 2 or 3 and called themselves Aery Soul then Alfaseed and maybe something else thrown in there before settling on Aeon Soul. I have dressed all the Vickies 3 and 4 and now the Genesis girls with the finests duds from these two since 2005.
If they ever run out of ideas perhaps they need to revisit the oldest for up date. For instance Ye Sheng Yu and Seven Seas. And let us not forget Alice, their free moph for Victoria updated at least through version 5.
They were Awful Soul for a brief period :)
And Alice has never been free (though it's possible the body morph was made a freebie (without the head) at one point iirc).

upgading from Gen2 to Gen8?:) also is it worth buying the new gen8 models if i have them in gen2? IE stephanie 6, victoria6, and olympia6?
Depends. Stephanie 8, Victoria 8, and Olympia 8, look nothing like their G2F counterparts. If you invest in the character converters, there's no need to buy the G8F ladies unless you like their look too.
New Store Layout - Fan or no?Also easier to get at the PC+, FG, and Freebies pages
The old store is still better regarding those items due to the addition of some unnecessary elements.
freebie page: has a large image of Victoria at the top. You have to click on a link or scroll down to see the freebies.
FG: again an image at the top
PC+ page: AGAIN unnecessary images. The top of the page tries to sell you on PC+ membership. The middle one contains new PC+ releases. The bottom has the PC+ freebies most people care about. The old store was way better.
I guess I miss the simplicity of the old store. That was great if I'm trying to check the store on my phone due to mobile data caps.
Another "Who's that Girl?"I guessed that it was Zelara 8 skin (translucency 97), Gia 8 HD body with Bodybuilder details under Victoria 8 or Olympia 8's head and the breasts/nose/lips plumped.
Can I use promo images from Daz Store to promote my PC game? For example, I bought Victoria 7 but creating high-quality rendered image of her is too difficult for me (I am not an artist).
let's not bring deceitful marketing topic into discusstion and assume that my game has the same quality of the characters as in promo images of Daz website.
You contradict yourself.
First you say you are not able to create the same quality images and afterwards you say your game has the same quality.
Just commision an artist to do a few screens for you (that you can also use in your game) and than problem solved and also no decitful marketing involved.

If your game actually does have the same quality as the characters in the promo images you should be using screenshots instead of trying to rip off someone else's artwork.
It would also likely annoy people who bought it based on faked "screenshots" of something completely different and probably have to have "NOT ACTUAL FOOTAGE" put somewhere.
Not sure how extremely multipurpose (or generic) a game it would have to be that basically any shot of Victoria 7 would do though. I guess there are no unique elements at all?
Traditional Dance poses for G8F and G8MFor ballroom, there are these:

As far as the others, there might be a bit of a wait.

If not, is there websites with Daz rendered images shared by CC-BY-3.0 license (free license to use in commercial products)?
Dasan 8 is hereIf you’re not looking only for male characters, Xochil is the best female native character I’ve seen, with Alaska and Uki falling more on the stylized side of things.
Thanks for that, Gordig, but I am not interested in Female characters
Rawart did a Genesis 3 male and female as well:

https://www.daz3d.com/anicinabe-for-genesis-3-maleAnd two by Raiya also for G3:

https://www.daz3d.com/awan-hd-for-michael-7See, I completely forgot about Anicinabe and Awan - I have them both.
Dasan 8 is hereI was just discussing with a friend about Native American characters and doing a render with all I have (at the moment, waiting for DM's)

Off the top of my head I can think of:
But I am sure there are some for G, G2M, and G3M. I know I have shapes for Genesis without skins but can't remember any characters. I have Gypsyangel's shape (Ranger) from Rendo for G8M.
Anyone jog my memory (and Product Library)? And then the kitbashing clothes begins...
