AIUTO...CHI CONOSCE L’ITALIANO? PARTE QUATTORDICI

^_^;
Importa in nuovo OBJ con i poligoni maggiorati, cairca quello sfascione di G8F ed esegui il Tranfer Utility con i settaggi per le maglie.
Fatto.
Ti invio la fattura a breve.

[Released] RSSY Character And Material Conversion Bundle Genesis 8 to Genesis 9 [Commercial]844d1cc615 said:
I purchased the suite. I'm trying to convert GC's Horoine Project for G8F morphs (again). I would like to convert just the body, not the head. I tried the custom character script however I am not seeing an option to convert just the body. Will this product do that? I see another product which has a menu to select seperate head-body conversions. I don't want to purchase two products or do earch morph manually if I don't have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Based on the image, it looks like you are trying to get support for ManFriday's product. Please go to his support thread for help.
If you are trying to get support for Sickleyield and RiverSoft Art's product, personnally I would use the regular converter script, convert the entire character, and then delete the FHM (head) morph that was produced later if you didn't want it.
AOBB's Classic Hollywood Stars G9 mega bundle. 19 head morphs. No materials nor textures.Hi friends,
It took me almost ten months to complete this project and I sincerely hope you will like the end result. All you need to know, including the head morph mega bundle, is included in the zip file you will find here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1durUwWim507pcyrrp64AxoIX_fa8hnPn/view?usp=sharing
Edit: I have posted above the link to the fixed version of the zip file with morphs with two mistakes corrected. One of them is Brow11 specified for Ingrid Bergman instead of Brow1 in the pdf table. I also removed the "Presets" folder that found its way by mistake into the zip. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't unearth more errors. Sorry about that.
Edit 2: I thought that you might find this information helpful, so I am copying here my response to wondergirl about what materials I used on the morphs:
"For most of the men - Rogues 9 by GhostofMacbeth textures. There are four variations of the Rogues texture and I used the two ones that aren't ruddy. Cary Grant and Clark Gable definitely have the "tan" version. For James Dean I used a modified by me base Asian female set of textures - I lightened them, desaturated yellows and removed blemishes on the face. To give him a manly look I used Dain 8's stubble.
For women I used either Cherubit's Charlotte texture with brows removed or the same textures I used on James Dean. As for makeup, I mostly stuck with Vicky 9's 02 foundation and lipstick. I used also Lashes Utilities for G9 and/or Cherubit's Fiona mascara eyelashes texture. I have so many makeup kits for G9 that I wouldn't be able to tell you which one exactly I have used for whom."
The zip file contains a PDF booklet with renderings showcasing the head morphs you are getting; a readme.txt file that describes how to install the morphs, where to find them in the DS interface and information about how you are permitted to use this bundle.
You will also find included a table that contains the names of the stars, with the names of corresponding head morphs and information about which brows and hair work for each morph.
No materials or textures are included in this package.
I haven’t made any presets, you will be getting just the morph dials.
This bundle is a freebie for noncommercial (fanart) use only.
I decided not to finish the Burt Lancaster head morph as no one seemed particularly interested in it and I didn’t like working on this morph very much anyway. I plan to add to this bundle Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in the future. When - I don't know. I need to take a break now.
Here is the list of actors and actresses whose head morphs you will find in the bundle:
Actresses:
Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Judy Garland, Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh.
Actors:
Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Gary Cooper, Gregory Peck, Humphrey Bogart, James Dean, James Stewart, Paul Newman, Robert Mitchum.
I ask that you use these morphs with respect for the people they represent. As the old adage goes “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Please let me know what you think, once you try out the morphs. I’d love to hear from you! If anything isn't working, please let me know.
Morphs sculpted using Zbrushcore and Blender. No AI used in image creation.
Have fun!
Happy New Year!

Did anyone do a Clothing Converter from V3,V4,M3,M4 to Genesis 3,8,9 M&Frichardandtracy said:
Can I suggest a read of the tutorial I did in this thread: Making TriAx figures from Parametric Figures It details all that's necessary to convert the old figures (A3/A4/F3/F4/GV3/H3/H4/IV/K3/K4/M3/M4/SF4/SP3/V3/V4) to have the benefit of some new features. Included in the tutorial are four poses to make M3/V3 into rough autofit clones for G3F, G3M, G8F & G8M, so your generation 3 character can wear the clothes of those later generations, and further through the thread I include a pair of poses to allow M4/V4 autofit clones to be generated. They are.. rough & ready [good term to make 'Barely Adequate' seem more acceptable] autofit clones, but with smoothing modifiers they generally work. Better ones would involve a modeller (which I don't have a suitable one I can use) & sharing DAZ copyright material (not permitted), so I have gone as far as I can with autofit clones for Generation 3.
The tutorial also covers morphing between characters. The tutorial shows how to load other generation 3 characters and have them as full body morphs that enable V3 (or A3 or M3 or... any other Generation3 base figure) to morph into H3, then M3, GV3 and A3 etc. A side effect is that the character can morph from male to female. And all existing V3/M3 character morphs can be included in the figure in a similar way to Genesis3/G8/G9 and morph between any of them at the stroke of a slider.
The tutorial short-changes you a bit - I claim that it's a 69 page pdf, while it actually came out at 68 pages after the last edit. However, it shows everything necessary to generate the TriAx gen3 character in an order that works. It does not show how to create clothing templates for the good behaviour of capes & dresses/skirts. Mostly because I don't yet know how to do it. One further thing it does not do is show how to improve the joint weighting. You are left with the [pretty terrible] DS approximation of the original Poser joint parameters. It's no worse than in Poser 4 or 5, but it needs care to chose camera angles where elbows, hips/buttocks and knees look OK. I hope to be able to do something about that myself one day.
Regards,
Richard
thank you Richard,
It an interesting read
well worth the time
Daz Studio slowing down when animatingHi I must admit I didn't realise Graphmate and Keymate were included. The versions I have are installed using Dim, that I purchased years ago, they are found under Window / Panes
You need to add the required licenses which are in your DAZ store. Ill see if I can find the included one
They are great as they show you whats been put down on the Timeline and allow easy editing of things you don't want.
As I have shown you for some strange reason Daz Studio is adding all the morph controls, no idea why. if you now copy and paste from the high level you wouldn't realise how much your adding to the time line
Note you can't see all these unless you toggle TR to TRSV in the Keymate time line, I also have to do this sometimes as not everything shows up
That said, I had bucket loads show up, I deleted all of the ones I hadn't used, then all was well, bit of a pain though, After, Copy and Pasting these worked OK
I do have Animate 2 installed, hardly ever use it anymore
I still get Daz Studio crashing, and the log file has loads of warnings etc most of the time nothing stands out so it's a PC reboot
I prevented a lot of crashes that were due to resources and temps
I installed CPUID to monitor the temps and adusted the fan speeds on the CPU and GPU to increase or decrease the fan speeds as the temps changed
Using the CPU with DAZ Studio, Even with water cooling, it still got to hot around 80 deg and caused the occasional crash. I don't use CPU anymore, I just use the GPU
I also saw the GPU temps were getting to hot, so I adjusted the fans on the Video Card to start earlier
Doing this the CPU is happy at 25 deg c to 35 deg c the GPU was hitting nearly 80 deg, C but now doesnt exceed 60 deg C
Resource wise, I used the Windows Task Manager to see how much Memory was being used I've had Daz Studio just bomb out
I was amazed how much memory was taken, even with a single model, l so I have now got 64 gig installed about the Min you need
Currently using a Geforce 3080 TI, and a 13 gen Intel i7 13700 with windows 64 bit
I aslo found Daz Studio when using the CPU caused the Windows to screw up and become jerky so to over come this
I used an App called BES to limit what resources Daz could use which helped, I now use a program called Process Lasso that controls all resources leaving a bit spare so Windows operates OK
I opened up the Timeline and found Graphmate, it's Graphmate not Keymate. You can't see the morphs or sizing in this one, you can see translations, rotations bends twists and side by side
Which figure is used in Versatility for dForce Carmen Outfit for Genesis 9The morph looks a lot like Amy Amei for Genesis 9, by Amy Amei, but I don't think it's currently available: it's sold at another store, one that is experiencing a long maintenance. No idea about the textures, Amy Amei for Genesis 9 is a morph sold without textures. A Genesis 8 also exists, which is free but I was not able to find it on Amy Amei's Deviantart gallery.

Here's an example of a product which might be useful to you when making new clothes for G9 (depending on the type of clothing you're making): https://www.daz3d.com/sy-ultra-templates-for-genesis-9
It's advertised as something you'd use with autofit, but the projection templates it adds could also be used when using transfer utility to rig a new clothing item.
Have you used those? Do they really work well in most cases? I have had such terrible results with the hair RSSY hair converter templates, that I hesitate to purchase anything similar from the same source now.
Is AI killing the 3D star? What I'm toying with is using DAZ to create a character/scene Using DAZ content assets , and render it, then use it as a reference for Controlnet (two controlnets, one with Canny, one with Depth). In my earlier renders I didn't use the depth one, just prompted Stable Diffusion to create a background (usually though it ended up being super basic). the only one in this vignette that used the depth is the last one, in that case I set up an entire scene with the cabints, floor and wall, and all props and the depth is needed to seperate the character from the other stuff. I attach the original render from DAZ, pretty basic quality, it's all you need to send over to get the info needed.
That you can see though is that the DAZ assets (shirt, skirt, shoes, G8F, hair, even the poses) transfer over to Stable Diffusion and I need to prompt for the color (it works well for the skirt and shirt but not so well for the shoes). For all intents and purposes I'm just using Stable diffision as a render engine. But with the SDXL Turbo models it will crank out a render in like 8 seconds. Next experiment will be to see how it does with mutliple characters.
Now to the main topic, if I wanted to use this to make a comic book I think I could assuming I sort out the mult-character process. I don't see this use of the AI as at all different than sendng it to, say, octane or Blender. as others say, it's another tool.
Face Transfer 2After browsing thru this thread with the examples posted, I decided to give the Free Version a try. I ran into all the issues everyone else did, hair distorting ears, unwanted shadows on the face etc. Since the description for Face Transfer 2 says it's AI based, I figured I would try to generate a character to meet the specific criteria asked for: (Neutral front lighting, neutral expression, front shot, etc. I set up a virtual studio within an AI generator to attempt it with some limited success. Specifically, getting rid of hair, especially on the face, uncovering the ears, neutral straight on lighting to avoid shadowing etc. Took a bit of doing I must say to finally get some decent results. Since G9 is gender fluid, I figured I would give that a go. Below is an AI generated female Elvisy character used in FT2. This is the Free version, I just edited the logo myself in Paint 3D. Had to use a few head morphs to get the shape a little closer, as others have previously noted (weight gain!!). I also noted that even though I asked for a bald and or shaved character portrait, the skull would usually be sized as if the hair was still there. I tried addressing this shortcoming by asking for a reduced skull size. Anyway, results posted below. I may be shot for using AI, to port a photo to another AI to build a character within DAZ. Works for me, because I have NO sculpting skills in the 3D world, so FT2 is a tool to get me closer to the characters I want to develop.TD
I have included the AI Generated photo, and a few others if folks want to play around with these relatively cleaner images to import into FT2.

Deleting just part of a product?I have a weird question. I have some products that have just parts of them that I will never use. For instance, I just bought a huge fantasy morph pack for G8, and while I love 99% of what's in it, there is also a zombie morph or 2 that I don't like at all. Also, I have some magic products that have parts I will never use (with strange texts that I can't understand). Textures with bloody versions, monster skins that come with regular characters or texture packs, etc., I would really like to remove just the items that I don't want, and the thumbnails/links to them. Is there a way to do that? Note that this is not for storage space reasons, just so that I don't have to look at those parts, lol!

Gen 9 Figure morphsI am having a problem when loading any gen 9 figure, even the dev load, as it always loads with unwanted morphs that are set to a value other than zero, the figure is thus distorted, so I have to zero out everything on the morph dials before I can progress.
I have tried loading the dev load figure, zeroed all dials and then saved as support asset thinking it might reset the figure, but when the dev load is tried again all the same morphs and values are back again.
Any thoughts what I can do?

connecting two subsets to make a larger scene.I can get the subsets merged.....I can even copy and paste entire key segments....
I assume when the subsets merge...you are supposed to transfer keys from say....Cassie 2's timeline to Cassie 1's timeline...Creating One Cassie with all the keys.....
Maybe I'm wrong....again...still noobish.
Face Transfer 2Contemplating the nature and passing the time with the new Genesis 9 character generated with Face Transfer 2.
Is AI killing the 3D star?I am also playing more with Daz Studio recently, especially after the release of Face Transfer 2,
which provide me a lot of fun playing around with AI generated portraits
and then transferring them to faces of Genesis 9.
I do not regret playing with Stable Diffusion and the other AI tools
because they provide me with the training/interest to my aging brain.
Story Time and Genesis 9So, some of you may have noticed a cute little pixie flittering about in the Daz Store. I adore this pixie: https://www.daz3d.com/pixie-9 - but I could not afford the price for $60...

Well, Once upon a time... (yesterday)
I was purusing the Lightening Deals in the store and was offered this product for $3 bucks! : https://www.daz3d.com/head-shapes-and-makeup-for-pixie-9
It said it came with two pixie morph heads and geo graph things of make-up... So, I figure, hey, it's $3 bucks and the make-up will work on any G9, so why not and I grab it!
Well, first off, I notice the pixie heads are complete shapes, not dependant on the Pixie character to work! Cool!
I wondered.... Hmmm? Can I make the Daz Pixie myself??? First attempts were pixie-like, but not like the Daz Pixie, know what i mean?
So I kept at it.... And this is how it turned out. It doesn't look like the Daz Pixie exactly... but I still think it turned out kinda cute and was proud of her and wanted to share.
I love Genesis 9.
I feel like with a few shapes and morphs anything is possible. Products used to create my pixie according to my "Currently Used" tab. LOL
