Spaceship Locker room
Hi,
Star Citizen : Squadron 42 trailer shows a locker room with a design reminding me Stonemason products.
It would be nice to get an environment or modular kit similar to this.
Santa hat Shaping issuebarbult Hey your Santa Claus looks too good to be an Star!

After the visit I will work on my project, wish me luck!
Animate Shivering? Here's the part in The Clone Wars Behind the Scenes where they talk about the cold. If it doesn't start at the appropriate spot, it starts around 15:30

I'd suggest that something like a character being cold is better communicated through other media like body language, vocalization, background colors, facial expressions, or background music. I think that ultimately it just wouldn't be worth the time and effort to animate something like that.
The satisfaction of getting these sorts of things right is unbeatable. Said by someone who hasn't yet.
The segment on the visual essense of cold in the Behind the Scenes featurettes of The Clone Wars is an excellent watch.
Danny (Animation Supervisor) directs his animators to add shivers here and there - not constant - while Joel (VFX Supervisor) recycled Breath Fog elements from an earlier episode at specific parts of dialog. It's amazing to see the results.
I've just spent the last several hours advancing my journey into animating more and more facial musculature on simple animations of Rosie 8.24. More breakthroughs in specific things I can do to convey emotion combined with living facial reactions of what's going on with her in the scene. Like all of the shapes the mouth should go through while catching her breath, when she's also thinking that she might still be in danger (what I've just been working on) along with how the upper and lower eyelids react, how the cheek and nose muscles respond, to coincide with what she's doing consciously.
I have several saved animations that work well for this sort of experimentation.
Looking at results rendered, it's amazing to see what it does. While we normally won't even pick up on all of these facial movements, it truly does make the whole shot a lot more realistic looking.
In 2024 I started making special dials just for these things as well as having the benefits afforded by getting Anilip 2, which came with a slew of Augmented Viseme dials, which separate the lips poses of the viseme from that of the jaw, and allow them much higher ranges of motion. I use the augmented visemes as a big role in animating the lower facial motions that just happen without that character realising it. Lip twiches, stretches and contractions of the corners of the mouth, chin and jaw movements that occur beyond conscious thought... etc., and then I use my own dials, which have all of the facial muscles moving all the time.
Being early 2025, I wanted to actually put more of that into motion. These past several hours (over the course of two days) have yielded really nice forward progress.
It's a slippery slope.
In my earlier 2024 work, I've noticed - only after releasing several videos - that it's all too easy to overdo it or to use these tools in a way that distract the character from being that actual character. Also that I didn't like my horrible hair improvements.
Along with this new facial work, and the fact that last month's Creative Cart episode touched on facial animation while actually exploring working with Linday's dForce hair for stills and animations, I've set up myself to work more with the latest version of Rosie's hair. The latest version was created during the making of last month's episode. Two days ago I took my own ideas and techniques and worked more and more on it, which I think looks really nice, but also simulates very consistently.
Making her "Chilly" is something I've had on my docket. Perhaps I'll hit that up next - which will begin with that "Chilly" M4 aniBlock that comes in GoFigure's pack I mentioned earlier ;)
Star Shaped Glasses?Star Shaped Glasses? Thanks for the links and info. I was hoping for an easy daz compatable product.

FilaToon / Cell shaded rendering with Filamentbarbult said:Thank you! Though only one of the backgrounds I put together. The Jem/Barbie inspired one is the Bubble Light Stage with a star pattern shader added to the center panel. https://www.daz3d.com/bubble-light-stage
The one with the Christmas freebie tail, I didn't have time to set up a background for that one so I added an image to a plane primitive. I was exploring Leonardo Ai last week and that was one of the images Leonardo Ai made. I think I asked for "vibrant anime stunning texture micro photo", or some such word salad. lol It's the first time using an Ai image for a background but I thought it turned out neat, so I decided to use it. It's definitely more satisfying, though, setting up and rendering 3D backgrounds.
So while the Ai image for a background was a pretty big time saver, it definitely doesn't feel as satisfying rendering with it. If it wasn't 4 AM when setting up the scene I would have used 3D assets instead. :)

If you are looking for G9, there is a morph pack in the store that does all the Star Trek races. I can't remember ther name but will look for it.
Technically, there used to be: Science Fiction Head Shapes for Genesis 9 which is no longer in the store

Who Are Some of Your Favorite PA's?If I made a list it would be super long and take me far too long to type up, but if someone forced me to pick just one it would have to be Lady Littlefox. I believe I own more content from her store than from any other PA. Her "Star! Original Figure" is the first 3D model I ever purchased and I still like that figure very much. I have purchased a huge amount of content from her and do not regreted anything I've gotten from her. I'm a big fan of her style, artisrty, and the quality of her work. Plus she's also a super kind person, which is awesome icing on the cake!

I am not sure if there is anything in this bundle that is not inspired by existing items or looks.
Even though they don't have Editorial License stamped on them due to some differences it just feels cheap to me.Kurt Wagner (x-men Harlequin) shapes, outfit and skins, even the poses look straight out of the comics
Tom Hiddleston look alike (debatable but with the long hair it looks straight out of Loki for me)
Star Wars Grand Admiral Thrawn outfits, Just missing the rank insignia's and other minor details,
Drizzt Do'Urden fantasy armor. You are right about the name, I grew up with the dutch comics where he was called "Harlekein" and for some reason my brain did the literal translation

I looked up the Drizzt Do'Urden as I was unfamiliar with the name. I found a rabbit hole in the Forgotten Realms Wiki and a rather fascinating character. Made me take another look at the Drow that I had otherwise ignored. But, I have a question for anyone, moderator or not. Can a named character in Dungeons and Dragons have issue with Editorial Licenses, to include their clothing and swords? I did like these items before I had read about them and would like to know for sure.
Let's just say that about everything legal involving D&D campaigns, settings and art is a huge blank at the moment.
D&D was originally owned by TSR. Wizards of the Coast bought TSR about 20 years ago (and then had the specific TSR brand name expire 3 years ago).
TSR and later Wizards of the Coast had a certain blank license for creators to make D&D stuff, including campaigns or settings, figurines, fan fiction, etcetera, since freely allowing all those things added to the popularity of the D&D game.
Wizards of the Coast then tried to one-sided alter the license agreement, demanding very steep fees. Which resulted in massive player backlash, so they withdrew that (for now).
Wizards of the Coast also managed to majorly peeve off the original creators of several official campaigns and official D&D art works, and are now in a couple of legal battles surrounding those, including the original Greyhawk campaign, but also the more well known Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms campaign settings. So, who owns the rights to Drizzt Do'Urden and his signature dual scimitars is kinda up in the air. Even the latest adaptations of this figure are clearly based upon the first descriptions and the first artworks for this character, and it seems the case is going pretty strongly in the direction that WotC doesn't have the full rights in the first place, and basically signed away any rights they might've had with the open licenses in the second place. It's actually fairly probable that they will abandon these old campaign settings in the future entirely, to replace them with new campaign settings, art and characters that are tighter under their own control. Just wait for the threethousandumptieth edition to be released in a couple of years for this to happen.Actually, Hasbro brought Wizards of the Coast in 1999.
Klingon foreheadI think this exists and I think I even own it but I don't know what it is called or where to find it. I'm looking for the morph that will create the Klingon forehead from Star Trek. I think it's for Genesis 3. Maybe Genesis 2. But I can't find it.Help.
