I am normally a user of Gensis 3 and Genesis 8 only. I saw MMKnit CDSet V4 and the accompanying texture set MMKnit CDSet V4 Revival Textures in the Daz Web Site, and was tempted, so I purchased them, even though I have had very little success doing anything at all with Victoria 4 despite trying many times. My experience with these two products have been no better.

I can find the basic clothing items deep down in the Poser Formats section under ...\Figures\mamomamo, and can load the clothing onto Victoria 4. However I have spent about an hour looking for the additional textures. They definitely physically exist in the expected folder ...\Daz3D Content\Runtime\Textures\BUG\BUGRevKnitCD. There are 86 jpg files in that folder. But  I cannot find them in the Content Library structure inside Daz Studio.

What am I missing?

The best theory I've seen is a mix somewhere between Osuine and Victoria 8. (I think about 70% Osuine and 30% Victoria was fairly close, although I might have those percentages the wrong way around).

Nowhere. Victoria and Michael 4 were before Genesis 1, which is Generation 5 of Daz figures.

There are converters to use their morphs, skins or clothes with figures from the Genesis line though.

BTW in case you all haven't surfed that "update" thread for Genesis 8 figure, this post mentioned Victoria 8.1 in a newly released product. 

I'm not investing in clothing and hair much anymore, still focusing on sets. I LOVE the Fugazi stuff released this past week. I'd rather get something at 30-50% off which is nicely made and unusual, or SO realistic- than buy more stuff I've already got.  Whenever Genesis 9 ever rolls around, it's a hard pass. Genesis 8 has been out SO long, I have enough to last me a life time. 

I did want to mention here too that the 600 products in my Product Library which had black swirlies are fixed. So if you had that problem, it may be fixed (as others had mentioned in the Commons thread about store issues.)  So kudos to the tech team for solving that, at least.

I don't think that is a mistake by the PA.

In those cases the long path is caused by DAZ Connect, which for some ridiculous reason uses "non-standard" paths, also the beginning of the path is completely unnecessary (/Users/Owner/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/)

honesly Michael 3 and Victoria 3 use the least amount of RAM and are good enough for extras

are also actually higher poly than genesis + but way less overheads 

I used a few instanced in this video

Iray will even render it but I used Filament as faster

Good find! That is the first real clue, I think. 

^Well, the base Genesis 8 figures are free, so I imagine the base Genesis 8.1 (or whatever it's called) version will be free too.

If 'Victoria 8.1' is a new figure, then it'll cost money same as all the others.

I wonder if Daz is going to charge us for the update, given it's not an entirely new line.
(Unlike some here, I wasn't using Daz when V4 was the in thing, let alone when the upgrades to that model happened, so I've no idea what they've done in the past in regards to such.)
