Thanks. I asked because I recall in some previous punch card sales the gift card didn't count for a punch even though it wasn't always show as being excluded.

Yes.However I am not inquiring specifially about today's sale; but I am inquiring for future reference so that I would know whether I or not I could maintain my gold star with a small gift card purchase. Right now the Gold Star text just states "any purchase" and doesn't list any exclusions; but I recall in some previous punch card sales the purchase of gift cards did not count to receive punches.

Per the other thread, a purchase today counts tomorrow. People who have gold star discounts today bought something Saturday or Sunday.

I think the daily discount item could be useful, but no way am I scrolling through 7k+ items to see if there's something I want.

I think the gold star discount will be a nice little bonus if it happens organically... but I'm not making every-other-day purchases just to keep a 10% active, and my spending pattern makes me think it's even more likely to expire unused for me than the tokens, which usually also expire.

So, the base structure is entirely uninspiring for me, but maybe there will be a nice flash sale or a daily add on or something. Last year was a wash for me until the end (and of course St. Pat's) so I'm in a wait-and-see holding pattern. If it doesn't pan out... well, it's disappointing when that happens but it wouldn't be the first time, and maybe the next one will.

Is it normal for licence to get only a 20% discount while the item get a 76% discount (70% discount and the 20% extra discount due to having a gold star). • If it's 30% without token, you don't have a gold star active.

Thanks, you're probably correct; the item I purchased today won't help until the interactive licenses are no longer on sale, so, more money saved for me! Luckily I don't *need* the licenses right now, I was preparing for the future.

In another discussion, @wsterdan did a purchase today but does not currently get licences discounted, so it feels likely that a gold star is only actived the day following a purchase and will stays active for two days after the last purchase over $1:

Seems to be yesterday and the day before, as I get the gold star discount and purchased something on saturday but not sunday. Which would mean today's purchase would count tomorow.

I've added a Newly Mad item to the cart and all interactive licenses *still* show in the cart at 100%. Was I supposed to also stand on one foot, and if so, left or right? Hop? Sing?

I haven't been playing the "how do I buy something here and get the discount" game that much while I wait for DAZ Next to arrive, but I sure haven't missed this game.
