Did a simple underwater scene (no dapples, etc) to show how the mertail from Coral looks on another G2F. Elegance Hair does quite nicely for underwater as you can expand out the strands with a thicker option, and windblown.

I thought it would be simpler to link to the Super Bundle for all the underseas coral, rocks, plants. It will show you each individual product.
And now back to yard work. (I really will post images when I get this all done. Cutting bamboo today. It's in the 60's right now- yippee!)

EDIT: That top is from Eclypse. I added it to the list at the top. Good for a kiddie mermaid top. I like it because the bottom edge of it seems "floaty" and not tight.

Today's tree kind of reminds me of the tree that I grew up with which didn't look nearly as nice. It was one of those poor artificial trees that was used, abused, and loved through the decades and was definitely showing its age. By the time my parents replaced it, it had to be tied to the window shade rods to stand upright

We used the same artificial tree for years - unboxing it was a Christmas tradition. It, too, eventually got so ratty that we had to replace it. The new fake tree has lights attached and looks very nice with my ancient snowflake topper on it and our dated ornaments. We add a new one every year, and adding them all and talking about them is a ceremony we perform annually.

When I was very little, dad would go to the back of the farm and cut a small cedar for our Christmas tree. It smelled nice, but made a horrible mess in the house..lol So it didn't take long to go artificial, and have set it up ever since. In recent years, my mom and dad have gotten even lazier, all they put up for a tree now is one of those tabletop fiber optic ones...lol

Artificial Christmas Tree n' Poses

So cool, barbult! And here's my Thank You to Orestes Graphics and Feral Fey for their lovely bundle! Now we have the choice between a 'natural' (Design Anvil) and an artificial tree. I take both ;-)

I could see a brown colour being useful for children being depicted eating chocolate, maybe. And green slime and yellow honey doubling up for cough syrup medicine, too. And the possibilities for combining it with the Creature Creator sets are endless. As many uses as Orestes' Cobwebs, basically!

Membranes, too! Yes! I could see a 'smooth' version for making those and one with saliva-like rips, to simulate stickiness with fluid.

Jo Lab did some incredibly realistic customised saliva dripping props for their newest creature's tongue. I'd love for someone to be able to create something like that, but would imagine, even for your upcoming tongue product, it would be a whole different ball game to simply stretching anchor-points between lips.

Is it only items on sale for the listed PAs that will give us a discount for punches or is any item, on sale or not, listed in their stores eligible? For Mattymanx and Orestes I plopped two products each in my cart. Neither are on sale, but they show up when I click the name on the page. But I'm getting no discount at all? I already have eligible punches from previous days and have further in the cart.

If only items marked as already on sale in their stores is eligible for punch discounts, this is different from previous sales.

Changing the path did allow Ron's Brushes, Doartes Celestial Dimensions (spelling error on the brush directory it comes out as CELESTIA LDIMENSIONS, it also allowed Pictoglyph Brushes to install, those also had a miss spelling, it is set to Oretes/Pictoglyph Brushes instead of Orestes/Pictoglyph Brushes which is where their other ones installed.

I have the same thing. Actually I had a ton of his brushes installed in my Adobe Elements, and since getting the CC cloud version I thought I would DIM uninstall the ones in Elements. No problem there. I have the new path in and 36 install and 12 do not with an install failure of cannot find path.

IGNORE what I wrote here---
What I did notice was that the ones that installed had a similar attribute and the ones that didn't also had a similar attribute. The three little icons that delineate the check-box for what kind they are. The ones that installed had a check under the 3 pieces of paper icon (I couldn't find anything in the help files to tell me exactly what they are, but I think thats general content). The ones that failed installing all have the little plug column checked (I assume thats to say this is a 'plugin') so it is apparently looking for something. Nothing had a check under the disc image (Which I assume is for software).

I think they have something set wrong in the DIM that affects the Cloud version as they install fine if I change it back to my Elements directory.

I edited the post as now I did some more digging and I uninstall and reinstalled a few of ROn's brushes but now when I uninstall it comes up as a plugin for all of them.

I recently purchased Orestes Electromancy and could not find any materials options.
I did a search found .mc6 in the materials area, but really wanted the working duf files.
I finally went into the file system and found that all the duf files were stored in the runtime along side the mc6 files
( \Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Orestes Electromancy ).

I could not see any of the duf files in the content manager in this area at all, are duf files supposed to be stored in the runtine????
I noticed a number of other vendors seem to do this (putting duf into the materials folder) as well, and I can't see their files either.

I would love to use the materials I bought, what should i do? is this a bug or is there a setting i can use to show these files in the content manager?

Yep, a built in particle generator would be nice, but you can do some things... mCasual has a script that works somewhat like the particle generator in Carrara, on this scripts page, but I haven't tried it yet in 4.6, though there's a new version put up just last month so it probably is fine: https://sites.google.com/site/mcasualsdazscripts/mcjjet wowie, Nerd3D's stuff is good and thanks for the heads up on the new Orestes Falling Leaves. That looks interesting. I have Particle Illusion on my old XP box and that has some good 2D effects as well that can be composited in, even after the render in Sony Vegas.

wowie, I will also try the higher shadow samples. I thought it didn't improve things before in the Hider for some reason a while back, but I could just be mistaken remembering, or I didn't go high enough. It's been a couple months and I was more focused on render speed at the time.

zarcondeegrissom, thank you! And yes, DAZ Studio with 3Delight can do some really good stuff. It requires a good computer and learning the software, having a decent eye for things (from studying what's in the real world), and having a good idea of what you want and how to get there. wowie's lights and skin shader have been an immense help along with the discussion in this thread. Some folks try too much too soon. Then there are people like me who take forever! ;) There was poke through, but it was easily adjusted with the top of the dress and I think a tweak of the shoulders of the dress, I can't remember specifically without looking at the parameters again.
I'm hoping the computer can heat my apartment this winter with lots of renders!

Just a tip Kevin. You can substitute the DAZ default lights in my light set to AoA's Advanced Distant Lights if you have them. Most of the settings should carry over. If I remember correctly, the only thing that needs manual fiddling is the strength dial (raise the liimts), shadows (set to raytrace) and shadow softness.

The noise in the shadows is definitely due to inadequate number of samples. Try upping the samples to 16 or 24.

Looks cool! Wish we had a particle system for DS, could really work with the wizard's spells.
