Centaur 7 (Carrara) am not even going to speculate
used to see distortions like that in poser days when importing a morph made in Wings and the verts were out of order.
could try zeroing the figure shape, see what it snaps back to
the vertice info is in the geneses3male.dsf file in data filder,
could try dropping fresh dsf file in. like wendy suggested since is effecting all your g3m files.checklist before exporting g3 to object for morph work

check figure is totally zeroed.
watch out for that hd mouth realism morph and the navel morph >.< dont think shows on the active parameter filtered list
check mesh is totally at base resolution, sub d set to 0
in poser days used to export just the body part,
genesis one mesh, need the whole thingcant think of what else??
Default Eddie's figure was loading with the same distortions too. As for morphings, my morphings worked perfectly since I started to make them. And suddenly all the stuff around G3 male went wrong. But I have solved this problem after installing Studio Beta. When DS Beta requested for essentials installation, I did it. Standard reinstalling of essentials gave nothing.
Removing genx morphs with tabYou can delete morphs direct on your harddrive in the GenX-folder : data/DAZ 3D/ (insert Figure Name here) /Morphs /D3D Gen X
Probably you should not delete the folder itself, only the created files in there. Not sure if it is necessary to close DAZ Studio before you delete files in there. But I prefer to do so.
The second way is via the GenX tab in the morphs section. Deleting or disabeling morphs in the GenX tab can not break something nor does it effect the original morphs of the source figures. Highlight the morph and press the delete button and it will be gone.
At the bottom of the GenX/Transfer tab there are different options, to replace existing files or to keep backups of files. Thats what the Restore/Remove buttons are there for. But I have never used those. Usually I do my transfers with the option Replace existing files.
Sorry for rehashing one of my older screenshots. I will post a better one if needed.
Thanks so much for the help. I did all that but was still having problems so I ended up installing daz and all my content again. The genx stuff has been saved in another folder but I'm afraid to import it over as I'm not sure if it caused the problem. I'm on the search for how to isafely use genx. As what I did may have overwritten some base figure files.
morphs that show genesis 3 female ribsYeah, to be fair to the PA who makes the Resource Kit that I linked to and used, there's a lot of good morphs in that pack and it's well worth it for the other morphs.I also have other morph resource kits that that PA makes for Gen 2, and I've liked them all, but I think the problem with the ribs is the underlying geometry. So not sure how to get around it.
Centaur 7 (Carrara) am not even going to speculatewas thinkin of giving them a conehead morph, made 1 for james 6 back in the day.
way back lol

morphs that show genesis 3 female ribsI don't like Arabella's either honestly. And even then you would have to buy 2 figures, Arabella and the HD upgrade, and there is no separate slider for the ribs. So if you don't like the overall Arabella body shape (and I don't) then you have no way to show the ribs. Someone definitely needs to make a better rib morph or maybe a geograft for skinny ribs.
Need a script developer helpI'm doing some geografted figures, so the figures share some surfaces materials with the original figure, new G3 characters MAT poses will only apply the figures designed for, so I need an scritp to transfer the surface material to the new figure. Any one? My email, [email protected]
Thanks
More believable 'hard' sci-fi content, please: a rather lengthy request.Hi, Namffuak, your comment came in while I was replying to nomad-.
It's true that putting spin on anything produces a gyroscopic effect, which would make a rotating spaceship more resistant to manoeuvre than a non-rotating one. This should be relatively easy to overcome: a gigaton monster ship couldn't be spun and de-spun readily, but lesser craft certainly could. And, depending what you mean by 'short', it would be worth doing even for e.g. a fast 180-day Hohmann transfer from Earth to Mars. Alternatively, the craft could be tethered to non-essential or disposable mission hardware (q.v. Zubrin, The Case For Mars), which would be jettisoned or perhaps even recovered on arrival.
As for Bussard's lovely ramjet idea, which would only work at velocities that are a significant percentage of c, later calculations seem to prove it won't work at all, even at 99.999% c ( *sob* *sniff* ). I'm still bummed out about that.
Genesis 2 Male/Female Morph Bundles and Muscularity Morphs for Genesis 2 BundleHowdy!
Just wondering about the the Genesis 2 Male/Female Morph Bundles and Muscularity Morphs for Genesis 2 Bundle not being included in the "Genesis 2 Mega Sale". I've added these to cart but prices are unchanged. Any chance of seeing these in that promo? Thanks!

Centaur 7@th3Digit and @Thom3D how did you guys do that? Make the male invisible and put the female on top of him? Very cool

mine is GenX and Max's skin
but under hidden there is a G3F clone anyone can use, I mainly used GenX instead as wanted an over exaggerated female with huge human dugs, possibly the G3F is more accurate as the equine udders are placed near the rear and the male meat and veg mesh may provide enough polys or maybe Skiriki's horse 2 teat morph on ShareCG if one can find a way to use Horse 2 morphs on it.
Morphs and injection helpDid you install all of the Michael 4 morph addons to the same content directory as the base figure, and the same for the Victoria 4 add-ons?
Morphs and injection helpFor i tried the power loader thing, and each time I tried to load M4 or Freak, I'd get some error message, and the figures would not open at all. So I had to manually delete them from Daz. Also, S4 loads ,but not her typical shape, mainly it's a smaller V4, and the face is just as bad, with the eyeballs slightly bugged outward.
And when I try to load the figures morph sets, still nothing happens, no options, no tabs, nothing.
V4 loads just just, mind you, everything works there.
*found a way* get corrective morph assignement to a joint via script? Thanks for your reply. I hoped that there will be an attribute of the DzNode that I missed. I don't need the morph data itself, but only the assignement. I have a similar issue with lFoot and lHeel that have interconnected rotations and I wonder, if I can get these things from Daz Studio with a script. I'll have a look at the figure/shape thing too.
Morphs and injection help"there's no morph options to see when I click on said figures"
Unlike the newer figures that load all the available morphs when the figure is loaded, the Gen4 (Read Generation 4) figures, like V4, M4, etc. originally required manual loading of morph packages after the figures were loaded. With lots of morph packages, this could get tedious if you wanted them all, or most, soooo....
"what is a 'power loader'"
The Powerloaders were released for each of the base Gen4 figures to address the issue I mentioned earlier. If you have the Powerloader installed for V4, for example, when you load V4 into your scene the Powerloader dialogue will pop up showing all the morph packages that you have for that figure, such as the base morphs, morphs++, Aiko 4, The Girl 4, Creature Creator morphs, etc. There are check boxes next to each so you can select or deselect the morphs you want to load.
"what is ... studiocf and what is pupperteer studiocf"
When V4 was the flagship figure at DAZ, the figures were designed to work natively in both DAZ Studio and in Poser. However, differences between the 3Delight render engine used by DAZ Studio and the Firefly render engine used by Poser meant that certain material settings had to be different for each render engine. The solution to ensue compatibility with either program was to include "companion files" (thus "cf"). Sometimes the products would include the DAZ Studio materials in the main installer and the material settings for Poser in a Posercf file. Sometimes it was the other way around with the DAZ Studio materials in a separate companion file. If you only use either Poser, or DAZ Studio, you may or may not need the companion files depending on which of the above scenarios it is.
As for the Puppeteer files, they are for creating animations and are explained here:
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/artzone/pub/software/puppeteer/start
The documentation is a little dated, as the path would be Windows > Panes(tabs) > Puppeteer in DAZ Studio now, but may be relevant to DAZ Studio 3 - I don't recall.
*found a way* get corrective morph assignement to a joint via script?Genesis 3 Female has corrective morphs assigned to the joints via add multiply or spline (e.g. pJCMPelvisFwd_25)
In the file pJCMPelvisFwd_25.dsf theer are parameters like type, label, min/max, but also the values in "formulas" available.
"formulas" : [ { "output" : "Genesis3Female:#pJCMPelvisFwd_25?value", "operations" : [ { "op" : "push", "url" : "pelvis:/data/DAZ%203D/Genesis%203/Female/Genesis3Female.dsf#pelvis?rotation/x" }, { "op" : "push", "val" : -0.04 }, { "op" : "mult" } ] } ],Is there a method to get all these values from the bone via script and how? Any idea or hint into the right direction and where to look?
Thanks and best regards
Walter
Centaur 7Well, there's no mare morph, but there is a gelding morph and that gets rid of the beans, but not the frank.
You made me laugh out loud. I wasn't expecting that!
morphs that show genesis 3 female ribsThere is a body morph resource kit that I bought recently that has 4 rib morphs in it:
- Ribcage Tighten 01
- Ribcage Tighten 02
- Ribs Define
- Ribs Skinny
https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-female-body-morph-resource-kit-3
I haven't got a chance to try it out yet, but I bought it for that purpose, the skinny rib look. I bought so much stuff during MM, that I'm behind on testing everthing. I'll try to post a render tomorrow (well actually later today) to see what results I get with it.
Her unique mouthThe lip shape should be do-able with the proper morph packages for the figure. But the asymmetry would require specialty morphs or modelling. The dimples are more problematic - you could get partway there using a morph package, but you'll need to do the rest in a modelling program to get them just right.
D-formers does not work on Daz Studio 4.9Genesis is the mesh. When adding a deform you must select the figure not the body part as this is not part of the Geometry. It's always been the case when using the dformer on genesis. When you do get on then you have to move the field to the body part you want to morph and resize to the area you want affected. It still works for me, even in 4.9. Also after you are finished and satisfied make sure you select the figure before you spawn and not the deform as it won't do anything unless the object is selected and not the former. It will ask if you want to include other morphs before it creates the morph and the dial. That's when you know its working my friend. This can't be true. Watch this tutorial. She clearly adds a d-form to the abdomen, i.e. the abdomen is selected in the scene.
Centaur 7I'm pretty blase about the gender, given you can use GenX2 and various stuff to turn a male centaur into a female.
Big question is whether there's a 'mare' morph for the horse bits.
Well, there's no mare morph, but there is a gelding morph and that gets rid of the beans, but not the frank.
