Thrilled with what I bought. 

I bought Orestes Electromancy and installed it in DS and so far, there's only one problem: the folder appears all the way down in "Poser Formats," "Products," and even in "Categories."  I'm trying to move or copy it to "My Daz3D Library" so I can access it there without having to scroll all over the place looking for it.  I know there's a way to do it but I can't find the instructions.  Can anyone link me to the steps I need to take to duplicate or copy a folder?  Thanks!

Has anyone figured out how to use it for Iray, though? I thoguht I'd just put an emissive shader on them and see what happened, but the forking arcs and the ball both have three different surface layers. Has anyone experimented with how best to make it light up like it does in 3Delight renders?

When you start typing the name it should pop up.  I was PMing Orestes and his PA name had a space (and gave me the same error) , but the Forum name that popped up didn't.  So just double check and grab the name from the list as it shows there.  :)

I'd like to contact outoftouch. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them? I've tried sending a PM, but I don't know their username, and I don't know how to search for them, either. I found them on Renderosity and sent them a message, but I'd prefer to talk to them here because this is where I purchased their product. )

Usually we don't care which site you contact us at.  Daz3d has messaging setup so you can always go there and send us a PM. (here is a link: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/messages/all) You can hunt for our names in the list. As PAs, you already know our names.

So...  $37.79 is a _really_ good price for a pro bundle.  You can get better, but it's VERY rare.

Yes; typically with 50% off the back-catalog, +/- 10%, maybe with some 'bonus percentage' depending on the rules of the game.

I'd like to get something off Orestes sale tonight thats kind of pricey but is marked own pretty decently right now with the 60% off.

Then get it; if it goes on sale this next month cheaper, then ask for a price difference refund.

Does anyone have any tips on how best to use this product. There isn't a readme with it and no matter what I do I can't seem to get them to look realistic. Also, can't seem to figure out how to use the high res web cloth.

Yes, that's what the supplied 3Delight materials are set up to do — the three glowy rock pieces have the glow outline carved into them by bump/displacement, with a masked ambient map for the actual glow. The way I finally got it to work in Iray the way I wanted, I added a Geometry Shell for the glow effect and made sure both the rocks and the attached shells had exactly the same displacement maps, min/max values, and SubD Displacement Level settings. If I don't do all of that, I get the chunks cut out of the glow coming back again.

And now that I've seen how easy it is (now that I know what I'm doing :red: ) and how good it can look, I'm going to take on all the other Orestes "eldrich glowy stuff" environment sets I have in my content. The Foreverstones first, I think, they're nice and straightforward.

Got a weirdness here. I've been trying out various pre-Iray scenery and environment sets to see how well they adapt to Iray lighting; tonight it was the turn of Orestes' Lucifuge's Grave. I turned down the Environment to 25% intensity, converted all the rocks to default Iray shaders, and added Geometry Shells to the glowing rocks so I could preserve the textures underneath. All glows were using Campfire from the Iray Real Light set.

Anyone know what might be causing the glitching in the rendered glows, as compared to the unrendered Viewport? I've tried everything I can think of — adjusting the Mesh Offset of the shell, adjusting the displacement of the carved rock surface underneath, nothing works. You can see in the unrendered view that the mask I'm using in the Cutout Opacity slot is supposed to show everything, but it isn't.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Electromancy Power Poses includes poses for the Orestes Electromancy, but I suspect you are getting the errors because you do not have the product.

I can report that from my albeit limited testing that following these conditions does allow for the coupon to work.

However, I think many people are confused because items that have "special offers" attached to them aren't easily identifiable. Crosschecking a potential purchase over 30 PAs by going to each product and banner page, plus with significant DAZ Originals overlaps, makes the 40% coupon a little too difficult to use.

Do I think 40% off is great? Absolutely. But at this point, trying to make the coupon work is making most people's heads spin.

Given that list of vendors you can't purchase from and all the other rules, the coupon is not of much use.

Agreed, especially with the "must buy" something to activate it. I'm not spending $12.00 to get $3.00 off the one thing I want. If this was a blanket 30% off coupon for anything that isn't on-sale, it might have been a nice gesture, but add in a requirement to buy something I don't want on top of the other restrictions, I have to say thanks, but I think I'll pass.
