  • Figure Metrics Question

    Figure Metrics has 11. UnderBust Circumference for gensis 8/8.1 Female. That may not have been in the original version, though, so make sure you are not missing an update.

    Figure Metrics does not have morphs assigned to most measures - but it does have the tools to add them yourself. Not everyone will have the same morphs, and there will often be trade-offs with any given morph likely to affect more than one measure - so which is the ideal for any case will depend on which morphs are avaialble adn what measures matter.

    In pratica modificano il modello base, per esempio Genesis9. Spostando lo slider relativo o applicando il preset, Genesis9 prende le forme del personaggio desiderato.

    Li puoi anche "mescolare" per ottenere più effetti o variazioni dei personaggi. Per esempio puoi creare una mamma e ad una figlia usando lo stesso morph femminile ma al 100% per la mamma e al 60% per la figlia a cui aggiungerai un 50% di moprh per renderla più giovane.

    Più è alta la percentuale (o il valore) più il morph influisce sul aspetto del modello.

    Puoi fare un pò di prove di tuo, carica la base che preferisci e nel tab Parameters, sotto Actor, mescola un pò di quegli slider e vedi cosa succede al personaggio in scena.

    I picked up the pro bundle. The tokens and the add-ons made it the most effective option. I like his morph, especially the swole morph. his head is not my favorite, and the skin looks a bit similar to others. But I can work with it. I do like the hair. 

    I avoided the Star Wars content. I'm hoping the Marshall outfit is okay to use. It had no editorial licensing yet.

    Thanks for the input everyone! I'll probably wait for the hair to be on sale anyways, so if I do run into problems, I won't mind so much. Also, one can always return stuff, and I sometimes already did. - Oh, and I actually referred to both hair sets that are in the Pro bundle (yes, sadly no hair/beard added with the figure itself), the other one seems to have a somewhat curly beard as well (even if cropped really close).

    Do you mean https://www.daz3d.com/hs-mandeep-frizz-hair-and-beard-for-genesis-9 because the base char doesn't come with any beard that I can see?
    I'm personally cautious of that hair- it's lacking description (it says it uses omni shader but it's not listed as a dhair?) and several past hair sets have been really broken or lacking any morphs at all, and I'm waiting to see if any of the past stuff gets fixed before trying any new stuff from them. The character though, looks pretty darn amazing!

    From the look of the promo to the new character I see that "Cad Bane" got a "Special" morph, so does it mean we'll get a Star Wars morph pack like we got with Star Trek!?

    I did compile a list of some of the most common Errors and Solutions, as follows...

    Black Triangle with a Red Exclamation Mark:
    Uncheck all the Morph files and UV Sets (+Weblinks, Templates, etc.) in the Smart Content tab, as they are not needed for creation of Smart Content.

    No User Facing Files Where Found In The Product:
    Fix the error by Unpacking and Re-Zipping the product folder with the same folder structure and names as Daz uses.

    FILE EXISTS error:
    Clear the working directory (temp directory you set the path to in CW)... Restarting CW should also empty it.

    There were errors during installation:
    Remove any Templates.zip files from your list of product Zip files you imported into CW (under the Product tab).

    Error creating metadata for Daz Studio:
    Make sure you have Runtime and Support folders inside your save location
    (Example: DAZ CONTENT/3rd-Party/My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/Support/)

    Certo, ma devi sapere dove mettere le mani. surprise

    Immagino saprai come decomprimere i files, però te lo dico lo stesso: Vai nella cartella del moprh e fai una copia di sicurezza (rinominala Morph.dsf_BAK, modifica direttamente l'estensione o ti ritrovi con due slider) e poi rinomina il file Morph.gz. Aprilo con uno zip manager ed estrai il file senza estensione che c'è dentro. Ora cancella il vecchio Moprh.dsf e metti al file appena estratto l'estensione .dsf.
    Ora il morph è decompresso.

    A questo punto aprilo con un Text editor o una applicazione di programmazione (Notepad++ è il milgiore second me) e cerca nelle varie linee riferimenti alle etichette che vuoi modificare. Assicurati di modificare tutti i riferimenti, altrimenti DAZ Studio potrebbe non visualizzare i morphs.

  • Toon Generations Mega-Bundle for Genesis 8 Male(s) and Female(s)

    I paid a lot of money for this bundle https://www.daz3d.com/toon-generations-mega-bundle-for-genesis-8-males-and-females even though I already owned https://www.daz3d.com/toon-generations-4-mega-bundle-for-genesis-8 purely because it stated:

    • Individual dials for head and body shapes in case you wish to use them seperately

    Where are these dials? I want to use the body with an anime head from https://www.daz3d.com/anime-faces-for-genesis-8-female. As I previousl said. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY for this product and to add insult to injury, it was on a masive sale TWO hours after I bought it and I can't find the option that had me purchase this product.

    Most vendors will have "add body, remove body. Add head, remove head. This product DOES NOT. I have spent so much time scrolling though the various "morph" options in the shaping and Parameter tabs it is not funny, but is very stressful. Just trying to find what has been advertised in the product description. If something is adveretised in the product description, IT SHOULD BE EASY TO FIND.
