Premier goes beyond just the free bundle. You get $10 off a DO product. Reduces the cost of Premier right away by $10. Prices are lower for sure overall, especially on DO products If you do spend here, the tokens add up pretty fast, especially on Monday and Tuesday when they are doubled. If you care to, there are more  options within DAZ Studio for you to use. The bad, if you do not continue your subscription, you lose the use of those, as well as "special" character for core characters. I think Premier is pretty good if you buy a decent amunt of product. 
What I do is buy a month when sales are happening, then cancel and resubscribe when it makes sense.

Tobacco is a stimulant, and people frequently smoke cigarettes while doing other things (or, in the not-too-distant past, and still in some parts of the world, EVERYTHING). You could argue that cannabis LEADS to sloth, but the act of smoking cannabis is not itself slothful. Neither smoking nor drinking are inherently gluttonous.

Smart Content will show products it knows you own, in grey if theya re not installed - so it seems you must have allowed DS to go online since the last database reset. Smart Content relies on the database and the file locations - it is better to start by checking the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats and then the Content Directory DIM is using.

It looks as if DIM is not installing to the paths DS is checking for you content - if you download and run this script (by dragging the file into the Viewport) you should add the DIM install location to DS http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config_import/start

What products are doing this? If it's Daz's core figures it can be because there is some kind of update to it, or it's not recognizing your install path. Do you have multiple product libraries?

From what I can tell, at least some of the background images look like they were AI-generated as they have issues that make me question the images: the bridge arc is crooked in a way that wouldn't happen in either real life or modelling, light on the mountain doesn't seem to be matching, coming from both sides, especially on the right (it's not the other mountain casting shadow as there's light o the ground between them).

Obviously, I don't know. But they feel very AI, and the PA has other products that have more visible artifacts (like this one or this one) that are often seen in AI images. But I don't know their process. Perhaps someone will match the assets to Daz (or other) sets or products.

They might limit the selection, or swap bundles in and out, for a marketing FOMO strategy.  I don't think it's a good strategy for the bundle selection, and I wish they'd just keep them all there so we have better options all the time.

But with Premier generally, the savings you get with extra tokens are also really good.  So if you spend a bit in the store, it's worth getting, even if there isn't a free bundle you like.  And the new character bundles are eligible for the coupon upon release so if you like a new release and have your coupon, it feels good to be able to use it for some newer products, which is cool.

OK, manually hunted down all the installed folders, and deleted them. (My own projects were saved separately)
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Daz Install manager.

Worked out how to stop it filling my C drive, diverting content to one with a lot more spce, and set it running overnight to reinstall everything.

A couple of things needed a retry, but overall it worked without reporting errors.

So I just fired up Daz Studio, and most items are shown with no picture, and a dotted green line around the frame. (I've attached a screenshot).
I thought maybe it was a cosmetic error, so I tried to load up a product, andgot a "file not found" error. (Another screenshot is attached). 
Also, with some products, the illustration is there, but is shown in greys rather than in colour.
I looked at the most recent info in the log file, and found entries along the lines of:
Could not adjust thumbnail path from support path: /Runtime/Support/DAZ_3D_8019_The_Guildhall.dsx

​So it looks like there's an internal database of some sort that is messed up about the file locations?

All clues on how to fix this VERY gratefully received, as I'm currently unable to access about 98% of my content.

Wow! Richard that is an incredibly kind and awesome thing to say. Man, I love that "At the end of the Photoshoot" image you posted over on Renderosity. It's a shame the Daz Gallery doesn't allow tasteful nudity. They allow it in the products they release as long as you "okay" it. So, it honestly should translate to the gallery too.

Either way... LOVE IT! I think you captured an exceptional moment at the end of a photoshoot. Kudos my friend. 

I am guilty of buying a dis-proportionate number of hair products too!  

It's doable, and all you'd need to do is to map the one drive as a networked drive in windows and having the drive listed in studio through CDM(Content directory manager).

I would, however, recommend against it, unless you absolutely need remote access, and can't setup your home system to do this.

The main reason i wouldn't, is due to cost.

Looking at Microsoft's One drive, the pricing and storage levels, are, free for 5GB, $19.99/year for 100GB, $99.99/year for 1TB and 129.99/year, for 6TB split across six 1TB accounts.

All prices are USD, so it may vary if you're not in the u.s., or are looking at a different service.

For comparison, a 1TB HDD(spinning rust) is ~$30 usd on newegg, and an SSD is  ~$50.

Even if you don't have the space in your computer for an additional drive, you can alwasy go external, via USB or ethernet.They'll be a bit pricer though, but still cheaper than most cloud storage solutions.

My recomendation, would be to just setup a network share of your current install.

If you're not familiar with how to do this, i'd recommend looking up a tutorial on your particular operating system.

Unfortunately, as sofacitizen points out, Smart content can get a bit problematic with shared systems, and is part of the reason i've never used it.

I just tried Primavera Hair with DForce, which I so love.  Linday's hair products are so wondeful.

I think I am going to work with Mada hair a little longer, since my little witch flying is MW Candy for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D.  She is so young, I'm afraid Primavera Hair would overwelm her.

Plus, I think I did the wind force wrong.  It was taking forever, so I gave up.  Have you guys tried Preimavera Hair with wind?  I am going to try again, when I have more time to work with it.

I am 73, fine thin hair, and it is salt and pepper, with a hint of brown. No wigs, learned that lesson back in 1971 when one blew off my head. My aunt was a hairdresser and every summer would cut out the Shirley Temple perm my mother would inflict on me at the start of the school year. I hated it. Never could keep a hair style. Since the early '80s have had short hair so I could easily get into a gas mask and get a seal. Later, it was just easier as my hair does not style. But it does get cold in Denver. So I have half a drawer of ski hats, along with gloves.

Ok, so you have a lot of hair products, too :)  I love hair, what can I say?  The funny thing is, I have always had fine, thin hair IRL :(  Now, at 70 years old, my hair is white and short...to my scalp...so I can wear a wig...one of twenty or so LOL.  Yep, collecting wigs in real life :)

My mom was a hairdresser when I was little and that made me love hair even more.

I want long flowing hair for my little witch riding on a broom :)

I have played and played with Mada Hair by Goldtassel.  It must have taken a long time to get the hair this perfect.  Most hair gets really distorted when you increase the length like this.

I want hair that makes a statement like this...to be the part of the magic in the art!  I don't want the hair sticking out straight.  I want it literally flowing with curves.  I might have to do it in postwork.

Leni Hair is the most perfect flowing hair that I have ever seen.  I hate to use that hair every time I want gorgeous, long, flowing hair.

I have 15 pages of hair in my Product Library.  I have 619 Hair Products in the store, so there are many that aren't even in the store.  And that doesn't even include hair products I have purchased on other site in the last 20 years.  I have to justify having so much hair by using the other products :)

I have looked and looked for gorgeous flowing-in-the-wind hair.  I love the Turbulent Hair series.  Turbulent Long Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Females | Daz 3D

However, I want flowing, not just sticking out :(

I also have no idea lol.  I did try it in firefox and had the same issue. I'll play around a bit more, but if I can't get it to work I'll have to return it.  Which would suck, because I lovethe hair lol.
