URL: http://www.ramwolffsworld.com/3D_Directory/Packs/RAMSKourosPack.zip
ReadMe file:
You can find Kouros hair by StudioArtVartanian here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/kouros-hair/89981
This is an expansion pack for the hair created and shared freely from RAMWorks Studios':
"RAMS Kouros"
This works ONLY IN DAZ STUDIO 4.5 and up. If you are prolific in Poser and wish to convert these to share please notify me to let me know your intentions and desires. You can find me on the DAZ3D forums most of the time, PM's are fine or post in the freebie thread for this pack on the DAZ forums.
Usage Rights:
You may use these material mats for personal and commercial RENDERS. This expansion is free and is to remain free. Please respect this!! Also please do not assume that it's OK to use the textures for other packs, free or paid for, this is NOT OK! If I find that these textures have been used without my consent in any way other than their intended use (for this pack) I will take action!!
The pack contains 23 hair colors ranging from blonds to blacks and funky colors like Oceanic and Fire to name a couple all created by hand by me. There are also 23 pin and gem color combinations making use of the textures included with the Kouros Hair pack. It's amazing what can be accomplished using surfaces channels. There is also a desaturated copy of the scalp texture from the original pack included WITH PERMISSION from the creator/merchant of Kouros Hair so my textures look their very best.
If you wish to convert the main hair to Genesis, which is what I did, you can easily achieve this using the Transfer tool. Steps follow:
1: Load up Genesis, in the Scene tab click on an empty space to deselect Genesis
2: Load up Kouros Hair from your Poser Runtime "Character" folder. I loaded up the M4 version!
3: In the Scene tab there is a little box up at the right corner with lines through it, click that. Down where it says Edit > Convert Figure to Weight Mapping and leave at the Default TriAx
4: Scene tab menu again, Assets > Transfer Utility. Now for the fun.
a: Source: Scene Item: Genesis
Item Shape: Clone, a dialog will pop up, choose Michael 4 (or Victoria 4 depending on which version of Kouros hair you decided to load up)
b: Target: Scene Item: Kouros Hair
Item Shape: Default (leave this setting alone for this transfer)
5: Projection Template: Hair> Long
Show Options, click this to expand
6: Leave all checked that's checked but also check "Reverse Source Shape From Target" and "Add Smoothing Modifier"
7: Click: Accept and let it run.Once this is finished then you need to save this out as a .duf file.
8: File> Save As> Support Asset fly out and choose the top most item in the menu: Figure/Prop Assets
9: Save dialog will come up.
a: Name the Vendor Name: SAV
b: Name the Product Name: KourosHair
c: Leave the "Item Name" filled in as it is!
10: Click Accept.
I've included a copy of the original png for the saved hair in the My Library:People:Genesis:Hair:SAV:Kouros Hair folder. This is where you want to save the converted hair so you don't have to go hunting around for it. In the sub folder is the Materials folder where my presets for the hair are as well!
Hope that helps.
Please enjoy my work as I had a blast making these for you.
Best,

I've been looking through the daz store thinking about what could work together to make a big long full beard with braids in it.
Does anyone have these 2 items to test my theory on?http://www.daz3d.com/shop/princess-tails-hair-set
http://www.daz3d.com/shop/michael-4-long-beard
I'm thinking I could put these 2 products together to make the beard I want.
What do you all think?
The goal is to end up with something similar to this:

Or What?adamr001 said:Loading this up as well to see if it does this to me... though by the screen shots I agree it's probably a grouping / ordering issue. Wouldn't be weight mapping on an item for M4 unless you converted it.
I intended to convert it to Genesis, but this is happening on the original M4/H4 and UnimeshFits versions -- both of them. (And the problem persists when AutoFitted to Genesis or using DSPro's weight-mapping convert'n'transfer procedure, but that's not surprising.)Yup, I see the same thing. Definitely report it. Just call it a "mesh" issue if nothing else.
Will do -- what version of DS are you using?
Before I report this more info would be helpful -- anyone who can try the GhostAgent harness and/or its UnimeshFits harness in previous versions of DAZStudio or Poser and post what happens here, I'd appreciate it.Wandering Node Problem? Or What?PaulSW said:interesting. For me this looks like some vertices are either in the wrong group or have a weight map painting issue. You have this issue in Daz Studio below 4.5 as well?
Don't know -- 4.5 is what I have installed, and this is the first time I've used the harness. But it can't be the first time anybody's used it, can it? Is this happening to anybody else with the GhostAgent and/or the Unimesh fits harness?
I'd file a bug report, but I don't know what to report! Or is this something I've got set wrong in DSPro 4.5? Not sure how, I haven't changed anything since I installed it (on Windows7 if that matters). Anybody know?Wandering Node Problem? Or What?In DSPro 4.5, this is the GhostAgent harness with the thighs separated a bit to show the problem -- nothing else has been done to it. The same problem is happening on the Unimesh version. A few minutes ago I redownloaded and reinstalled, then loaded this into a fresh empty scene, and it's still happening.
I don't even know what to call this, never mind how to fix it -- help?Known Forum Issues Curently Being Worked On and Old Forum LinkI did. No response.. I don't have time to keep trying. I work two full-time jobs. I went back to Michael 4 and his morphs anyway, so it's not a huge deal. Just irritating and leaves a pretty nasty taste in my mouth when I'm already just about Poser-only.

While not required, it does make the process a heck of a lot easier and faster.

It took me a few tries, but I eventually was able to take several different custom M4 morphs and transfer them to Genesis. I used the new dials with other Genesis shapes & create several different aliens I needed for a graphic novel.
The cute furry alien uses the Badger by Sparky at the Philosopher's Egg, along with the Genesis Gorilla body and a tail from the V4 Creature Creator package. The ugly scaly alien combines Sparky's Solaris & RawArt's Dragalien for M4 with Midnight Stories' Brute and Lycan and RawArt's Draco, all for Genesis. The texture is from Draco.V4 CreatureCreatorMorphs throws "dependency error" and can't find V 4.2*Sigh*... :-(
Well, I have to do so, because meanwhile I realized that my Hurray! was way too early.
Placing this odd ".bat" file made the installer run, but... it doesn't install.
There should be an entire folder:
/Runtime/libraries/!DAZ/Victoria 4/Deltas/Creature/with lots of InjDeltas files, like InjDeltas.FHMAlienCleft.pz2
Although the installer runs fine and creates a list of these files (CreatureMsV4List.txt), none of it ends up in the Runtime.
Within
/Runtime/libraries/!DAZ/Victoria 4/Deltas/there are folders for "Base", "Elite", "Morphs++" and "Muscle", but "Creature" with all its contents is missing.
The "Creature Morph Loader" Icon gets installed, but if you try to apply it, Poser will scream for all the missing InjDeltas files, which I can't locate because they are actually nowhere anywhere on the harddisk.
And now the very very very bad news - this folder is also missing on my PC install, so there is no chance for me to copy it over and make it work that way.
For your notice - I tried the same with the Michael 4 bundle, and this "Creature" folder is there for Michael. So this subfolder exists and should be there, but is just missing for V4.
So, as a matter of fact, the entire Creature Creator Morphs pack vor V4 (as bundled with my order) is currently useless, and there is no way for me to fix it.
Both the PC and Mac installer fail to install essential folders and files, the only difference is that the Mac installer aborts it early (unless you trick it with the .bat file), but both installers fail to create the files, although they finish without errors and claim that they did the job in their read-me-s.
I guess I will have to wait now for the new ZIP archives, and hope that they will finally include all essential files... :-(

I'd love to see something like the Ghost Agent harness for the SuperSuit! All those holsters and ammo holders, nice. I've been trying to convert it, and some of the nodes in the leg buckles keep thinking they belong on the opposite leg -- frustrating!
I'd like to see the rest of those ideas too. :wow:V4 CreatureCreatorMorphs throws "dependency error" and can't find V 4.2adamr001 said:Victoria 4 was indeed updated at some point. Sorry, cross-posting/replying...I only downloaded the entire bundle 10 days ago, I don't have any other/older files. Both my V4 Base and the Creature Morphs are the installers sold by DAZ right now this month, after the opening of the new shop.
The files are from the same bundle, this one:

The M4 suits can be used on Genesis with nothing extra. To use the M3 suits you need the M3 Shape for Genesis, which includes the M3 autofit clone.
..so if i buy these M4 suits they will work on the genesis on DS4? i dont need an M4 shape? just use genesis?

That's correct. The M4 autofit clone comes with DS4, the M3 autofit clone comes with the M3 shape for Genesis (although once you've installed it, you can use the M3 clothes on any Genesis shape).
