According to EUL Agreement it is Open Source and freely distributable. So i have uploaded it to my SourceForge space. carrara-plug-ins-adventures

I can only make them talk in Carrara with Carrara mimic that ignores that

Mars and Zeus ( who is Mars but was sold at DAZ) are very expressive

No, I only make stills ^^ Animation is far beyond my scope ;-)

The goal is "just" to have a cat that can do... well... humanized impressions, but still is a full cat.

I have both Zeus (DAZ version) and Mars, and all their add-ons except that Renderhub kitten. I love them, and think they're definitely worth the money. For changing the color, the easiest way is to buy an add-on pack. Admittedly, I don't know enough about strand based hair to do it myself. 

Strand based hair? Look at my Hair Strand based hair, hard coded strand based hair or the DAZ-native strand based hair? with the latter I can work :)

Is there a point in owning both or them or has one of them a morph to change the shape a little bit?

I came quiete along with the Sailor Warriors, but whoever knews the anime knews: You need Artemis and Luna (the magic cats) to complete it ;-)

since most my Carrara videos are only 30 second clips joined for the most part, I don't run into this issue often,

but 
Carrara renders file### to 1K then file#### from 1K onwards to presumably 10K but I don't think I ever rendered a 10K frame video  to see if it's file#####

the issue is many programs including Virtualdub and EbSynth only will see up to 999 of an image sequence

and FFS don't batch rename to the same bloody folder using Irfanview like I did and get image001 image0001 ... ˄nth

put the Carrara Cube to some use and came up with this wacky DownUnder Dragon for you all to experiment with.. 

Boned and a mouth morph... but you may ( will ) have to do some weight painting on the wings when posing ... I didn't really spend much time on this fella 

but you'll find him burning up the zip file busting to get out to be poked and prodded... as always any improvements you come up with share back here
