  • !! Store Issues - Known Problems - Please Read !!

    Purchased some new PC For A Day stuff and the PC freebies worked today but when I loaded  up DIM to install, there's nothing in my downloads list and this is on my "Character-Only" computer so usually it's chock full of scenes, props, etc. in the "Ready to Download" section. I tried DAZ Central and the "My Library" isn't clickable so I thought about checking for manual install but I found this thread and that sounds like a bust too. Hope you guys fix the link between the store and DIM soon!

    There is no download option for  https://www.daz3d.com/westbound-for-genesis-8-females (DAZ Central only-bug)

    There is, in fact, no download option AT ALL for Westbound. No manual download, no DIM, no Daz Central when you look at the product page in the library. The order result page for Westbound is also weird; it shows a Manual Download option, but no DIM option; however, when you click on "Manual Download", it takes you to the product page, which shows no download options available at all.

    And it's a known bug which is why I shrugged and reported it rather than going off about Central-only etc.

    @vaarn. to install through DIM manually @Nemesis10 gave me a workaround if, like me you still can't get DIM to download your purchases. It's a lot of clicking but it works.

    Go to your account => click on orders.=> View order =>manual download => download your files into your DIM downloads folder (if like me you have default set up it is : \users\public\documents\Daz3d\Install Manager\downloads)

    Open DIM, before you sign in, click work offline. For me, when DIM loaded, all my new purchases showed in the to be installed tab as usual.

    It was a pain with a lot of files, but there was one thing I really needed, so ..

    Well, it works and is fster than manually extracting files from zips (for me anyway)

    I'll do that. I tried installing with Daz Central btw. Have been for a while. It's not super important to me today, but I'll manually download it if it doesn't work tomorrow. Thanks for the tips :)

    DIM only recognises my installed content. The ready to download conternt is missing. Daz Central doesn't find anything (installed or not).

    Still not able to use Daz Central or DIM ...  Anybody else?

    It was working, then it wasn't, then it was, then it wasn't.  I still can't get to my newly purchased products in Smart Content  DIM is working for me right at this minute, but it is SLOW.

  • A new store will come out: Tomorrow (2020-11-01)

    I just reinstalled Daz Central, and still no link to Assets.  I also uninstalled DIM but now I get the "oops" message when trying to redownload the app,. Went to my order today, and tried to do a manua ldpownload for Jepe's Z-Bundle IV and when I click, it takes me to the product page that shows with an order, but there is no download link at all,.

  • A new store will come out: Tomorrow (2020-11-01)

    I just ordered a bunch of stufff with the PA copuon today, and the items do not show in my Install tab in Daz, nor do they show up in DIM.  I recently installed to a new PC, and used DIM to install all my content again, with the exception of Poser files and some odds & ends--now, Nothing shows up as ready to download in DIM--neither the old items, nor the new ones.  Also, there seems to be no active link in Daz Central to my assets at all.

    I understand that DAZ is trying to improve the very successful website. I appreciate the difficulty. A heads up would have been nice. I only install the products that I am using for projects. The project is derailed now. Enough complaining. I'm sure DAZ is doing their best. Thanks Jack for the update. (It definitely goes down smoother coming from you) Do we have an ETA of when we will be able to access our products? Is there anything we can do as part of the DAZ community?

    Hi all, anyone else had disappearing shopping carts? I had a large number of items in my cart over the weekend, went today to pay, and my cart is empty. I checked DAZ Central to see if I had forgotten I'd paid, but nope, nothing new in there. So I'm not senile yet. :)

    when the new store took over all carts were lost along with any semblance of accurate pricing

    @jacktomalin  It's working better for me! Got the 10 items, and the PC+ items in the 1.99 section. They did stay at 1.99, I didn't get any further discount on them (I think I'm supposed to get more, but I grabbed the 1.99 anyway.)  Checked out just fine using Paypal, email confirmation is corrrect, everything worked. Time: 9:40am Central.

  • Poser 12 early release

    Funny, I went to the Renderosity site and the main advertising banner doesn't mention something like that that is so fundamental to the sale & use of their 3D models on their site. It's not really good advertising or helping keep Poser SW viable and popular to obsure the sale of it from potential customers. Given Poser SW's role in using that content they sell, a "Buy Poser" ad should be a central ad that is prominent and sticky everywhere you go on their site really. 

    Posers' SuperFly has been based on Blender's Cycles also for Poser 11. I think it originally was added in Poser 10. Of course Cycles in Blender has been much improved in the mean time and they should probably do the Cycles integration anew using the latest supported Blender version rather than the version already integrated into Poser.

    I have Poser 11 Pro and won't be upgrading as I don't even have Poser Pro installed, just the Poser content from it and that I purchased from CP.

  • !! Store Issues - Known Problems - Please Read !!

    Hi,

    I'm seeing a lot a of the same issues posted.. please know that everyting is being reported, but it might be some time before everything is ironed out.

    Please take a moment before you post to just check and see if it's already been posted, and if it has, then don't worry about repeating it.. we're aware of all the issues and they're being worked through as time/energy allows.

    I appreciate this is frustrating.. but please be patient, and it will be sorted ASAP.

     

    CURRENT ISSUES:

    There might be browser-specific quirks, and a few other minor things.. but I believe the big show stopping bugs are now sorted.

    Store search - still being worked on

    Galleries will be back ASAP.

    I will add stuff back in as it's brought to my attention.

     

    Latest Updates: 10:00 am, 11/5

    We’re getting closer every day to the full expected site experience, and are able to keep making progress on more specific issues that present. As of 9:30 am, 11/5, the following issues have been noted and fixed:

    • PC+ coupons now only work once and are live again

    • DIM issues with large accounts should now be fixed. At this point, we have resolved each DIM issue that we are aware of. If you are having an issue with DIM, please submit a Customer Service ticket to let us know about what you’re experiencing.

    • Gift Card emails have been amended and should send after purchase. Please let Customer Service know if you have not received a Gift Card code you are expecting.

    • Artist stores are now all linking correctly

    • Daz Artists/PAs should now have new serial numbers for specific PA building products that require them

    • The filters in the store are working correctly, so go crazy!
      And one more update that’s great news:

    • The Movember Render Contest is now open to all international customers, just in case you missed it!

    We were able to work over the weekend on a few updates and should have more updates this week. As of 10:15 am, 11/9, the following issues have been noted and fixed:

    • Credit card details for checkout: no longer require you to save to checkout

    • Pricing of Daz Original interactive licenses (for items you already own) is showing the correct discount

    • PC+ memberships that are not set to auto-renew now show active (instead of canceled) with a note that they will not auto-renew.

    • Published Artists should be able to see/use the PA forums

    Our major area of focus for today and this week is PC+ memberships. We are aware that some customers who have bought a PC+ membership are not seeing discounts.  This is a top priority for us.  We’ll have more updates on this throughout the week.

    Once again, the issues in this update, like those in previous updates, are fixed to the best of our knowledge. If these issues are not fixed for you, we do not know that yet, and ask that you submit a Customer Service ticket to let us know about what you are experiencing.

    • Customer Orders have been re-sync'd and should now show all products that are owned in DIM, Product Library and DazCentral. If you still are not seeing the products you own, please reach out to customer support.
    • Fix to a few products including BodyScapes for Genesis 8 Female, which were giving some users a 404 error

    Hi,I am unable to open Daz central....so I used the install manager and installed my order. But the items were not in the right files...I cant find them in Daz.

    So I went back to the install manager and it now tells me I need to install a new version of it...so I say ok and it promptly closes on me!

    So its back to manual install again :)

    New update I can no longer access daz central. I have the dash board, daz to blender bridge, and a dead my library link. I cannot download new purchases. 

    Have I mentioned I don't like daz central?
