Quick and dirty conversion to the base Genesis 9 - the only adjustments were the cane, which didn't parent to the hand, and the right arm and feet posing (none of which are remotely done, just a token effort). This is after simulation

I just saw a YouTube short showing Emilia Clarke and Claire Foy in parallel screen tests reading the same script.  They gave quite different tones to the words and to the character.  The director/artist should have an understanding of the persons in the story and the vision for where they're destined in their arcs, but the actors/3D figures bring something into the story as well, and the artist is wise who pays attention.

A generation ago I accidentally started producing a small webcomic on the old DAZ bulletin board starring V4 and Millennium Gorilla.  Their facial features and physicality informed me that the gorilla was the playful one, given to innocent pranks and impulsive decisions, and V4 was the adult caretaker and sign-language interpreter who didn't let her friend get himself into too much trouble, and that they were an inseparable team.  That's how much these CGI datasets are persons to me.  It goes back and forth... I need a character to fill a role, so I screen test members of my library, their appearances tell me what sort of person they might be and what life they've lived, I work up a biography for the role they'll assume, their abilities influence their arcs (e.g., one character might have a great "indignant" expression)... two-way communication.  I'm not sentimental about replacing a character if a better performer comes along.

Hi Brent, I'm Michael. Been using Daz Studio since Victoria 3, poser before that, I come from a game design and photography background. Got turned on to poser from a fellow creator at a game studio i was working at. These days though I am mostly using AI for images and video (less wear and tear on the PC, cheaper and more realistic). I just use Daz Studio for references and adding parts to AI images now..

I really like some of the early Aery Soul stuff. When I returned to DS in 2019 I made sure to dig out my V3 freebies that I'd kept from pre-2007 knowing that I would eventually re-use them. The Elvenstrapped bikini was one, and I was so pleased to eventually get it to fit to my favourite V3 based character (Glamorous Vickie) as shown below:

It took years before I could fit the clothing to this character because of the limitations to Poser's fitting methods, but I remembered it and waited until I had the tools. Definitely worth it.

I managed to miss Keilo and Yaara; (both contain NSFW character images hideable in the usual Renderosity way, so please don't look at these 'Unavailable' sales pages if you may be offended) as V3 characters on sale, something which still really disappoints me. Now that I've created a Tri-Ax V3, it would be possible to make these characters fit into many, many more clothes than possible when they were 'current' characters.

If everything went fine, the quickest way to find your morphs is by doing a search in the "Parameters" tab, as shown below :

Select "All" and type the morph name ("victoria" here), and all the morphs will appear.

Alternatively you can search them manually from the "Parameters" tab by following the "Path" that you've set in Character Splitter :

Here are a couple old Iray renders using Genesis 6 Female with an outfits that are still available.

This character is based on V6 with several additional morphs, and the outfit is SciFi Sniper.

Thank you! Also I'm imagining you're referring to soft ponytail by oot that came out with Victoria 9 Id say it's pretty different as it's not very loose hanging and is strand based. It's neater as well, where soft curls is more curly and wavy. Just my thoughts from using both at least

Yeah, that's the one! I've just compared them side by side. I do feel they are quite similar, despite the differences you pointed out, but seeing the rather heavy weight of OOT's hair once more (for my little laptop and RTX 2... series and only 16 GB RAM at least), I might just get the new dForce one anyways. They're so much smaller, and least by some vendors, and usually behave well on my rig. Thanks for your input for sure!
