Thanks, glad you like the images :)
    -

This next image is not a proper promo render, just a quick test I did to see if the sled-line morph would fit with the vintage sled Daz gave away a couple of days ago. At the time I made the set I had no sled in my library. ;)

Also, both the snow-falling and the snow-drifting prop are turned on, so ...lots of snow. ;)

    This is pretty awesome!

This is the 1st one with the smile removed via DAZ Studio morph slider for Smile expression correct? How does that work?

Sorry, I have not started to customize pose or expression of HeadShop 11 produced characters, yet.

This was just a render of the character as exported from HeadShop 11 and I only have added the hair.

I have a large pile of different images, that I want to test first in HeadShop 11, before I even think about something else.

OK, well the product does look improved. I'll watch for renders that erase expressions.

  • Cartoonized is awesome

Just recently started playing with this, lol, gotta say it is so much fun to play with I'm getting very little work done.

This is Charlotte 8 with Cartoonizer applied and a bit of playing with shader to make the textures look less "human".

I lied, first pic is base G8 with modified Charlotte texture, second pic is with Charlotte morph added in.

    I love your toon Charlotte!

  • a new Anatomy pack (skeleton,Organs etc) for Genesis 1-8

Were you using autofit/clones or the transfer utility? I don't have the V4/M4 set yet, so I can't test. I was just wondering.

I did a simple "fit to" command which I think was autofit. unfamiliar with transfer utility but would it solve the blown out bones problem?

  • Question about "Morpheus" and "Toon Generation 2".

It's almost possible, but not quite.

The Toon Generations2 is a full-body morph, there's no distinct Head and Body morphs. There ways to do what you want, but they're not quick and easy (at least not to me), but you should be able to use another product, X-Morphs (https://www.daz3d.com/x-morphs) to pull out just the head morph.

That said, you might find the the ToonGen2 body doesn't make that much difference, especially when you can can use other morphds to affect just the body. With DAZ's money-back guarentee, you might try purchasing just Morpheus and ToonGen2 and see if that gets you where you want to go before investing in X-Morphs. You might be surprised. wink

  • Morph problems for G3 female

I converted a V4 Asari head morph to G3 female using Legacy to Gen 3 morph converter and it works perfect when its used the first time but when i close the program or reload the model, the head morph goes screwy and I have to reload the morph again to work properly.

    Any ideas?

  • Headshop 11 Problems

The head morph is sliding the head down the neck when applied , this is causing the creasing. Why is this happening ?

This seems to happen only with "non-smile" photos. With "open smile" photos it does not happen. We are looking into it - fix is coming up.

  • iray preview - preparing scene step

The disk data should be cached at some point. So the Upload to gpu could really play a role, I had read that memory transfer is a problem in gpu computing. Do the newer gtx generations have faster mem transfer than 980 ti ( my current card )? Is there maybe a benchmark tool for measuring how good cpu gpu communication performs?

I don't think the newer cards will transfer info much faster. Most of the GTX line going back to at least the 400's use PCI-Express x 16 which is pretty much standard. Of course once a newer card has the info, it has a faster GPU clock speed, faster memory, more CUDA cores, etc to work with. When Iray is preparing to render, it's relying on a lot of things in your computer, but hard drives are usually the slowest component. I think 1-2 minutes is a normal time for a medium sized scene to start. If you're waiting like 4-6 minutes, you probably have something wrong. What kind of times are you getting?

  • eJCM applies on all now...

I see something similar with the "Skinchangers" product which applies a spurious morph when the head is bent, even if Skinchangers is not in use.  I have submitted a trouble ticket.

Did you get any feedback regarding the problem? i still didn't get any updates in my "DAZ install manager" as Alessandro Mastronardi mentioned.

Should be live in store since 8 November, I was able to download and update.

i've got nothing in the DAZ install manager.. i've been checking daily.

  • Hiro 4 Eyes Problem

Usually this kind of problem with M4/V4 morphs means that you need to run the morph initialization script (the DzCreate ExPFiles-v4.bat script and its M4 equivalent under Runtime > libraries > !DAZ)

And how can I get that file in order to run it?

  • Headshop 11 Questions

I really like, how well HeadShop 11 capture the smile.

This feature alone is worth a lot for me - great work.

Below is an example render of HeadShop 11 produced character, based on Genesis 3 Female.

    image

Be nice to see the same character but with the smile expression remove with the morph slider. Is that possible?

Maybe. You get better results if you do the smile removing DAZ Studio/Parameters/Posing :-)

  • The reals meshes relating top the UV templates?

The rather random outline of the Face Group (vertex group) comes from the Transfer Utility process where someone had selected to 'project' the figures Face Groups in this case of the abdomen to the clothing this will most likely result in such jagging groups. It dosn't matter for rigging / conforming clothing because the weight maps are also projected and are much smoother.

Projecting the figures Face Groups to the cloth is actualy very handy because you don't have to care about creating those by hand before you convert such a static object into conforming clothing.

Thanks. So It is the conforming utility which makes it such and it has nothing in common with the morphs, right?

I believe, although I may be wrong, that this projection makes it easier for the follow morphs to work. For example, if a morph changes the Abdomen1 face group of the figure, then the tech that allows that morph to also affect the clothes knows it needs to adjust the Abodmen1 face group in the clothing.

  • Help finding model of military ALICE load bearing suspenders and web belt

If you're looking to get it into DAZ Studio then the Michael 3 version might be a bit of a pain. There is a set for Victoria 4 here.

    https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/sexy-sniper/114387/

Already based on a famous video game character (wonder if it's the one you're looking to recreate?)

The V4 version will transfer to Genesis characters much easier.
