Adding specific character body morphs to clothing
With V4/M4 you'll have to do it on your own.
Right-click>Transfer Active Morphs
Adding specific character body morphs to clothingGenesis (insert any number here) and DS do it automatically for you. With V4/M4 you'll have to do it on your own. Poser has a morph brush that works okay but is kinda laggy (at least the last time I tried to used it). Hexagon/ZBrush/Blender/Silo/etc.. or magnets/dFormers.
Adding specific character body morphs to clothingOkay guys I'm not exactly a newbie to all of this however I have always had difficulty in getting clothing to fit exactly with characters that either I create or combined several different morphs to create or purchase from an existing vendor. is there an existing utility that will allow me to take a full body morph from a character that either I have created or a vendor has created and allow me to inject that into an existing article of clothing? Primarily I work with Victoria 4 and Michael 4. I have all of the base morphs plus the plus plus package and other bars that either I have created or have purchased from vendors to help change figure shapes looking for an easy way to add these combinations to clothing that won't leave me spinning dials for hours on end only to end up frustrated because they just don't workmorphs kept on base figureIs it possable to add a morph to a base figure so it stays there forever without a dial ?
Am trying to get Gen 8 into LW but making her in a "T" pose in Daz does not transfer to LW. There is a morph for that,(arms up/down) but when adding that in modeler at only 30% the arms shrink as vertices only move in a straight line so they only go from arms down pose to arms up in a straight line. Genesis 3 is already in "T" pose so that's fine. It aseems Motion Builder needs "T" pose to charectorize.
February 2019 - DAZ3D New User Challenge - Lighting@testingtesterson35 That is an awesome render, great idea, use of textures, light, pose, and camera work. Very nice character (assuming morph?).
I find the lack of gravity acting on her hair very unrealistic, a real knock on an otherwise stellar image. I agree with Shinji but, also where the smooth armor ends at her chest, check if it's clipping into the undergarment.
This might be trouble depending on how you built your set/environment, but if you are wanting to play up the cramped feel, you might consider bringing the screen right wall into frame more. I suspect you could fill the space vertically by grounding the elbow and displacing some hair on top. The hair could get tricky. Really interested to see how this one ends up.Pose ArchitectI still work primarily with G3 figures, mostly because my extant morph library for G3 is enormous, and cost a great deal to acquire. Same for a lot of us, I'm sure.
Is there any intention to offer this very interesting product for G3F?
I know I can convert an existing G8 pose to G3, but not realtime in my scene without a lot of extra fuss, like adding the G8 figure, posing, saving a preset, applying to G3 and then converting, and the inevitable tweaks that are needed after conversion. This limits Pose Architects current usefulness enough to have me semi-balk at the current price. Mostly likely I would end getting both, but my real need is for G3 first.
Also, does it work on poses already applied? That is, if I have an already posed figure in the scene, and want to add a bit of Pose Architect to that pose, does that work, or do I have to start from a zero pose? If it does work that way, how does that intersect with the save script? Will it save all of it, the initial non-Pose Architect pose with its Pose A additions, as a single pose?
G3 user here too. I'll buy it for G3
100% needed.
Me three. I'm using G8F more these days, but G3F is still my go to figure.
Warg HD for Dog 8 (Commercial)This looks great, I’m love anything wolves. I hope this doesn’t come off as rude, I don’t know much about the fantasy creature it’s based on :/ but, I don’t exactly see the sinister/evil look of the wolf lol, once I get it I’ll have to try what you said and dial the morph said and see if I make sense of the difference lol
Pose ArchitectSo what happens when you try to use this witrh a G3 figure?
- assuming that I select a figure in the scene and then run script 1.....
if it works that way.....
Or do I run the script/install and it adds NEW morph dials to every G8 female figure character?
Or even G8 male since it says it's only for Genesis 8 females?
Tasha 8OT, I was wondering why someone doesn't make a breasts morph with a natural bridge between them for shirts that need it, as well as a uni-buttocks morph with an indentation instead of a cleft. Zev0's and SickleYield's fixes don't always work the way I'd like. The short version is "because that's not really possible, and those fixes are basically the best practical compromise".
The longer version is that morphs are an additive (or subtractive) process, so the end result varies dependent on the original shape. Given that there's a near infinite variety of possible body shapes you could start with once you consider all the characters and morphs out there, no single morph can account for every possible shape - the best compromise is a toolset of multiple morphs to try to allow the user to do their best to correct for a wide range of bodyshapes... which should sound somewhat familiar.
Beyond that, in some cases, you may have some luck dialling out any figure morphs that are really screwing things up via the clothes' parameters (basically turning off/down the autofollow on that morph), although you may also need to dial in things like Fit Control morphs and adjust the smoothing/collision iterations in order to try to get it to fit again afterwards.

Detailed lip for g3f/g8f?Yes, the character is based on Angelina Jolie.
The morph that closes/opens the gap between the lips is in the Emma&Jordi Details Morphs (whatever they're named); it's called EJFM Lip Gap Soft.
In case you didn't know: Clicking on the gear icon of a morph brings a pop-up dialogue box for turning off its limits.
Isnt that illegal?
By the way thank for the tips and help mate my girl now look a lot less like an abomination heh
Tasha 8I like Tasha 8 because she looks quite different from the typical Daz female (which are great, but I don't need the same kinds of facial types) a group including Penny, Stephanie, Olympia, & Victoria 8---Gia is on the cusp. I hope Daz will give us at least two more women in this generation that break the mold like Tasha does, but most people want the same thing, then more of the same thing, then some more. There seem to be two main camps: Those who ask, "Why is it different?!" and those who ask, "Why is it the same?!" I'm the latter.
I put Tasha 8's morph under Gia 7's skin and got a Hispanic or light-skinned Black woman. So, those who are pegging her as just another skinny white girl should give her another look.

Thanks again for your service, Divamakeup. I always look forward to your renders to see the characters out-of-the-box and with Altern8 (which has so many options that it triggers OCD for me, and 3 hours later I know which one to use---and don't let me start futzing with the Girl 8 version or I'll never get renders done.
Awww Thank you!

And yeah, I have to agree, to me she's definitely doesn't look like "just another white girl".

Simple Office Doors questionThe file list shows an "open door" morph. Does that help?

I'm looking for a few items for G2/3/8 Female like those pictured hereHello,
As the title says, I'm looking for a few different products, either very similar, or at least kind of comparable, to the following pieces of clothing:
-A jacket similar to the one featured in the Skye Safari Pack ;
-As well as a plaid shirt resembling the Checkered Shirt Outfit for G3M - ideally it'd be openable, kind of like in this image.
-And finally, a denim shirt (preferably light, but it can be a texture) that ideally includes pockets, like in this picture - it represents a man, but imagine it for women (this could also be imagined as a texture for the aforementioned plaid shirt) - also, like the aforementioned shirt, it'd have an openable morph.
Now, I usually work with G3F ; however, from what I understand, there are ways to convert clothing from G2F and G8F to G3F, so I'm guessing that's not really an issue.
Any help, for any of these 3 products (either if they already exist, in which case I'd like a link, or if they can inspire product creators), would be appreciated.
Report sales errors here. Missed it? No worries. "There's Always Another Sale™"What bothers me most about Tasha is the same marketing strategy I keep complaining about which started sometime between the G3 & G8 debuts. For the longest time, Daz would offer the base model/s that you could buy solo or in starter and pro bundle offers, plus a handful of other characters that also had starter and pro bundle options. All the other named morph/texture characters of that generation were sold alone, but for less than a base model. There would be a few that were also available bundled with a hair and an outfit. Now the vast majority are put out like new models with prices to match -- $30+ for base, $60+ starter, $90+ - $100+ pro. Whether it's something really different like Centaurs, Floyd and Edie, or just-another-supermodel.
Plus I just don't do glamour vampires.
Victoria 4 and Michael 4 were free, with add-on name characters as we have now., and the Genesis series has followed the same pattern. Before that the Name characters were new figures rather than add-ons anyway. I'm not, therefore, sure what you are thinking of here.
Looking for blood/gory effects and propsBig thanks for the setting Sven. May I know where did you get the model of severed head, or is there any way to detach a head from for example Victoria 8 model? :)
If you pose the head as Sven did, without the severed end being visible, you can just use a regular G8F and just turn visibility off for everything below the neck.
If you want something more sophisticated, there's a product over at Rendo that does it.
Thanks, I also found this "amputee" morph set also on rendo :
Looks really legit, I'm gonna try it out :)
