Sorry if these have already been brought iup (too impatient to read page 8 yet)
While researching this answer I learned a very interesting fact. The Bra industry states the average Bra size has increased from 34B to 34DD in the last twenty years. I have to ask myself, Is that change a Natural increase, because it would mean there was a radical change in human genetics, in less than one generation. But then I remembered it could be due very unnatural change of breast augmentation. (I will leave my opinions about that out of this.)
I'd say it's the result of skyrocketing obesity rates, actually-- even though a 34 to 36 isn't that big of a difference. There's also a concern (so far either disproven or inconclusive from studies) that hormones in beef and milk (given to cows to make them produce more milk) could be affecting female breast size and earlier puberty rates, and contributing to the falling fertility in males, esp. in the US that cannot be explained away merely by rising obesity rates. (Male sperm count is falling worldwide, BTW, and not just in the US or industrialized countries.)

I have stated several times, I would like to see Victoria sized to match a more Average Woman. In the US that is a woman is 5’ 3.7 (162 centimeters) tall and weighs 152 pounds (69 kilograms). This corresponds to a Body Mass Index of 26.3 kilograms/meters² and wears a size 14. Reby Sky is more “Normal” in that regard. I think Victoria is the product of the Barbie Model mentality, which took hold in the sixties. before that models were more average. Heck my grandmother was a model in New York City, in the 1910’s, and she was no waif. Today most Mainstream models range form 5’9” to 5’11”, with outer fringe being 5’8” to 6” with the extremely rare exception down to 5’5” and as tall as 6’1”. They are Thin - puts weight at 108 to 130lbs in proportional to height. This puts dress size 6-8 with the desired figure around 34B-24-34.

The male characters are similar, actually, though to a lesser degree. IIRC Michael 3 is 6 feet tall, while Michael 4 is 6'2 or 6'3 *or maybe it's the other way around...). 6'2 is prettymuch the equivalent of 5'8 in females. And like the ladies, they possess that same tall, strapping hero build you so commonly see in comics, fantasy art, and the like, even when the men don't look like they're on steroids. M3 and M4 look close to your average male, but their base forms, like V3 and V4 base, are not what are popular-- the popular forms are the chiseled morphs with a 6-pack and a full jaw.

Quality is definitely a factor for Renderosity freebie clothing, as is versatality. As I said, my only guess as to why Arah's models never took off is that they're huge resource hogs. They have all the morphs of the V4 morphing dress and possibly more, and if you load just one article into DAZ, there's serious lag (and the program may crash when you try to save it-- if successful, you're looking at waiting a good 2 minutes for the save bar to finish)

Brand name also speaks volumes. I'm betting that if Pretty3D released a free amish dress for V4 around the same time as Lassie of the Seas, that it would have roughly 3000 downloads due to brand recognition.

Sickleyield's products are also about quality (though her old-ass freebies leave something to be desired-- I'm talking about the K4 clothes) I ran the "what's hot" filter on M4 clothes at Renderosity and the Sickleyield clothing for genesis is at the very top, though her M4 loincloth is also way up there.

Looking at the results of my searches and tallies of Renderosity freebies, I found that by far the most popular clothing is Pretty3D's stuff, and also that upload date makes a huge difference as well-- the P3D Pretty Nights outfit for V4 has half the downloads that the V3 version does, and it's also impossible to compare ancient M3 clothing uploads to any M4 ones.

I also noticed that in general, cosplay clothes have an average of 1500~1700 hits, regardless of gender.

Definitely the models with the most hits are the extreme skimpwear, esp. by Japanese users (who seem to be more into that sort of thing anyhow, though this seems to be a cultural rather than psychological difference-- western porngazers don't appear to be big on any type of non-photographic uber-extreme fetishwear outside of the BDSM category-- if it's drawn or animated, the gals had better be undressing or naked, not wearing tape over their naughty bits or a bikini consisting of little more than a cord or ribbon. Make no mistake-- one of the primary uses of Poser and DAZ are in the rendering of 3D porn, but the tastes between the west and Japan differ culturally.)

One thing that really stood out however, is that versatility is preferred over detailed specifity. Some of the most popular models and textures are for very generic clothing such as Littledragon's tanktop and the M4 Valiant uniform. I took a look earlier at V4 shirt models not outfits, just shirts) and found that nearly all of them had a lot of hits. Actually, here's the statistics right here:

    In the T-shirt category:
    Axeswipe's tshirt: 1634
    Maevris's shirt 01: 3907

    Button up Shirt Category:
    Kabuking's simple shirt: 3796

Tanktop, sphagetti strap, and similar Category:
    Tentman Turtleneck: 1492
Yanelis3D's (now defunct) promotional shirt: 3217
    LittleDragon's V4 Tanktop: 4079
    Ei_Lee's RCS Tanktop: 1431
Mapp's Conforming Tanktop 1919 (boobsacks ahoy! This is a 5 year old model, though)
    Prae's tanktop: 2042

Angle-shirt and other mild slutware category:
Yanelid3D Nice Shirt: 4037 (angle shirt)
    LD V4 Tubetop: 2167
Sickleyield V4 Free Loincloth Tubetop: 1183

    Definite slutwear:
    Tentman TMTop 2: 1870
    tied top: 2212

The button-up shirt could count as slutwear. Overall we see only a mild preference at best for slutwear, but it's very difficult to determine using this chart because many of the popular items are either from big name PAs or freebie makers, or there is a huge disparity in upload date (Mapp's boobsack shirt is one of the older entries *in Mapp's defense, the shirt doesn't look nearly as bad with darker or bolder non-pastel colors)-- I disregarded PhilC's freebies entirely because they're some of the oldest uploads on Renderosity, which renders their true popularity inconclusive.

One final thing I noticed is that accessories tend to have more hits than clothing items, though they don't possess the bellcurve seen in clothing models (in general, accessories range from a minimum of 500 to a maximum of 3500 hits.) Obviously, the primary factor here is the versatility element mentioned before-- most accessories work with nearly anything from very conservative clothing, to formal business wear, to skimpwear, to fantasy and scifi-themed outfits and armor, to flat out fetishwear. Want Michael 4 to be wearing nothing save a pair of socks and a cowboy hat? Yeah, that's no problem at all.

  • Versatility vs specificity

I have to say MallenLane for not wanting to post you did point out things very nicely.

The Topology drift is an issue and starting with a Female and Male basic shape should minimize the issue. As for too much deviation you can see that in a few things where the Vendor has stated that their clothing have the ability to stretch.

About the fact we only have the Genesis 2 Female:
It doesn't surprised me that Genesis 2 Female came out first or the Genesis 2 Male would be lagging behind. For evidence to support the logic of releasing the Female first, you only need to look as the number of Male products vs the number of Female; Or more specifically at clothing. Let's face it, Victoria, of any generation, had more items in the store over Michael. Just head over to the store and click on Clothing and Accessories. As of the time I an writing there are 1336 V4 items and only 363 M4. The difference in the number of Genesis compatible figures female to male is only 1, but we are talking about the difference between 14 and 15. move back a generation and it is almost 3 to 1 in Victoria's favor.

Another thing: V4 was released in December of 2006 and M4 didn't join her until almost two years later in October of 2008. (Dates pulled from the Documentation Wiki.) And wasn't there a Victoria 4 Male morph, so getting an androgynous female wouldn't have been impossible. And didn't Michael 4 have Mina, the Female morph set. And I would have to pull out DS3 to check this, but wasn't Figure mixing one of the features of DS3? (Though I am sure it was not to the extent of DS4 and Genesis.)

And while I agree more than 95% the human body is gender non-specific. [edited so the point wouldn't get lost.] And let's face it women have more basic wardrobe choices then men. Most Man to have maybe three pairs of shoes (Sneakers, dress shoes, and boots) and most of their wardrobe is also as spartan and utilitarian. Some of women's clothing is as far from utilitarian as one can get and most women dress to please themselves. So art follows life and when your are is attempting to mimic life, this is a good thing.

About the Choices DAZ 3D Makes without talking to the User base:
Steve Jobs said something like 'If we had asked the consumers, what they wanted in a smart phone, the iPhone wouldn't exist.' Sometimes companies have to make choices, pick a direction, and step out. Some times they find greatness and other times they are never heard from again. if they are good they make course corrections and stay on the wave. What makes it good or bad is the voice of the consumer. The iPhone is a Success, IBM's OS2 while technically superior is a footnote in the history of computers, and we will not talk about the Tucker or Ford Edsel.

For DAZ 3D to make the choice on Genesis and Genesis 2, which aren't natively supported in Poser (or any other 3D application), when I am guessing Poser has the Lion's share of the market; was a bold move. I see the DSON Importer for Poser as one of those course corrections.

So while I enjoy genesis, even with all of it ubiquity, it might be a little gender diversity in the gene pool could be a good things. I agree with Mattymanx we are judging the merits of the book by only looking at the front cover; until we flip it over and see the back (Genesis2 Male) and read the introduction and maybe page 99 and 185, we can't really tell what all of the benefits and pitfalls will be.

About the idea we will get better clothing:
It was my understanding, part of the ease of creating clothes for Genesis was some of the tools and tool improvements, which were added to or made in DS4 and expanded on in 4.5 and now 4.6.

I think SickleyYield said something about even though you can use the generically auto-applied morphs, it is far better to have the specific generated Morphs built in. Hence the reason we have seen Genesis clothing, which state Supported Genesis Shapes: A5, D5, M5, V5, etc... This isn't a new idea, while most V4 clothes will work on Stephanie 4, with a little tugging and stretching, the ones that come with the morphs for Stephanie are better.

Personally I would like to see more factual period clothing and footwear. Yes, they had platform shoes in the Renaissance, (They were called Chopines and they were made to keep the bottom of a woman's dress out of the street muck. They were like over shoes that the house slippers slipped into) but they were not 5 inch stilettos and how could anyone run through the woodlands in heals?

The Boobsacks are most likely a trade off on how many morphs/shapes of the V4 Morphs++ or Genesis shapes do you want to support with your tee-shirt and if you support them all what issues does it cause. Then there is Conforming TOO much, hence we have SickleYield's utilities for Genesis and Genesis 2 to give a more natural look and spanning between the breasts. The other issue conforming clothing has is it's lack of natural hang, which dynamic clothing solves to a point, but the dynamic clothing process requires an outside vendor, I don't think it is totally controlled by DAZ 3D or is there away for most clothing creators to create such products.

About the issue of the inclusion or exclusion of Genitalia:
I agree Opal42987: the US, and most of the world for that fact, would rather talk about anything other than the dreaded three letter word, which is feared more then some of the four letter words you can't say on TV or Radio. Look at the movie The Hunger Games, It is rated PG13 for intense violent thematic material and disturbing images - all involving teens. if you thought the movie was violent don't read the book, it is much worse, and the Age group the book is for 11-13 year olds. if they had Kat is a state of undress at any point it would have had an R rating. As it is I am sure it it went round and round with the ratings people to make sure it was PG13, so the kids reading the books could see the movie.

I digressed to bring up the point that 'SEX', and all of its various side subjects, is verboten in most cultures. Given this mentality, I can see DAZ 3D standpoint of trying to tiptoe around the flaming pit of sexual morality, while offering us the ability to use those parts if needed. And vwrangler is right; if it was a permanently attached it would be a nightmare, to deal with and I have to agree the male part is a bit, well... ah... I mean to say... um... ah... It is a bit too inflexible to work around. (Had to find away to say that without it getting TOS'd out.) Thing is once you put clothes on a genital bump would solved the problem nicely. If you are creating the statue of Adonis remember, even he wasn't as... ah... grandiose or um... inflexible.

    To sum up:
So Good or Bad, Like it or Not so much, Genesis 2 Female is here and just like with Genesis we will have to learn what makes it great or not.

But think about the History of DAZ 3D Figures and about the fact that Genesis is just two years ( Approx. 7-26-2011) old, so I don't see Artists just throwing Genesis out; especially with the number of thing in the creation stream. And Another thing Victoria 4 still going strong, even after seven years, and there is new content being crated for her every day.

So if you want ubiquity there is Genesis, if you believe a little gender selection is a good thing there is Genesis 2 Female.
All about the choices you make and we as a community make. As I was told, most of the things we take for granted, in this 3D posing world, like morphs, ERC and JCM's were all program hacks created by the users, not the software developers. Thus proving Content Creators and Content Consumers are a powerful force.

  • Newbie posing question.....

Got it working now - apparently the error about failling to load the file should really say "Please select something in the scene first, dumdum".

I saved another preset and was able to navigate to the matching node by going through a different tree. (there are duplicates in the Michael 4 tree, and morphs, and other stuff, it seems like...).

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!.

  • Newbie posing question.....

    Tthanks for the quick response!

I tried your suggestion, but when I try to apply it it doesnt seem to stick - sometimes I get a brief flash of a single frame with the fist pose (whole body, not just left hand) and then it reverts to the previous pose as if nothing was done.

Other times, it will say error loading file, please view the log.

Do I need to select the same node before applying the pose? If so - there is a difference between the pose preset dialog, and the content selector.

In the pose preset, in order to find the left hand, I navigate down to:
    Michael 4 > Morphs > Imported > lHand

In the content selector, it appears differently as:
Michael 4 > hip > abdomen > lForeArm > lHand -- and the subnodes under lHand are not the same as they are in the pose preset.

    any thoughts?

    (I am a total Newb...)

  • Newbie posing question.....

    Example:

I have an actor (Michael 4), posed in Random Pose A.

I have a saved pose in a neutral body position, with the left hand as a fist, called LH_Fist

Is there a way to merge the LH_Fist with Pose A, with only the left hand information, and no other body parts affected?

i.e. - no matter what pose my actors are currently in, Can I selectively apply/merge a hand/foot/arm/head, etc. pose, without affecting the remainder of the original pose?

    If so - how?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Gia Discussion Thread

    Storypilot said:
Discovered something just now by accident when looking through the Gia product file list.

She has a morph called "Gia Body Smooth". It's hidden by default, but when unhidden and dialed in, it does just that, it smoothes out some of her muscle definition. Why is this hidden? I didn't see anything right off that triggered it. Maybe it's for clothes? But it seems potentially useful.

Here are examples with "Gia Body Smooth" manually dialed up to 1.0 and at 0 (default)

It appears you've found our hidden gem. The Gia Body Smooth has no controllers or sub-components and is a morph that is designed to stand alone (well you would need to use it with the Gia morph for best results). The reason that it is hidden is that the normal maps for Gia are optimized for the sculpted shape. We did want to leave the morph in for those who might use it though. Great find Storypilot.

    LordHardDriven said:
It depends on the figure, original figures can take anywhere from a year and up, while other figures can take less than 6 months.

Okay now just to make sure we're on the same page when I think of "Daz Original Figures" I think of the Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, etc. figures so when you say other figures I'm thinking like the 3D universe Toon figures for example, is that what you mean?

I should have worded my answer better. When I said "DAZ Original" figure I'm referring to a base figure such as Michael 4, Victoria 4 or Genesis. When I said other figures I was still speaking of DAZ owned figures, but addons for a base mesh that has already been created like Aiko 4,5 or David 5 etc. I hope this clears it up.

  • Rescale M4 and reset scale to 1 (100percent).

Have you tried setting the Source Shape to Current in the Transfer Utility (and checking reverse Source Shape from Target, in the additional options)? I assume, by the way, that this is Michael 4 for Genesis - or that you have converted M4 to a weight-mapped figure.

  • Paying for Autofit fixes?

""I have, but it’s not all been positive. I think if I was to move on from Daz Studio it would be to Blender.""
    ZBrush and C4D for me.

Dude, you must be absolutely loaded...

but I’ve tried so many freeware tools that have issues for one reason or another, I can’t get past blenders UI for the life of me.

Really? I'm actually trying out Blender now (been meaning to for months). Only spent 2-3 days total messing with it and referring to Blenderwiki, and I'm starting to get the hang of the UI (FINALLY figured out how to open files-- just haven't figured out how to add a second model to a scene or start a new scene and open a model afterwards) Then again, UIs haven't been a problem for me once I get used to them (although I hate DAZ's dockable windows though because they dock to easily when you move them around, and they require so much screen cover, so it's ungainly to have more than one open at a time, which bugs the hell out of me)

And while we're talking about autofit, am I the only person with a problem with ALL tops (dresses, shirts, etc) getting a wrinkly collapsed area on the underboob area for BOTH male and female clothes? How do I prevent or get rid of it? (Yes, yes, I plan to purchase the Sy trigging system as soon as it comes on sale again... I missed the 60% off sale last month, waah...)

    3) If this were an autofit ‘feature’ there would be no variable control as there is with these morphs. It would be one fit for all, which still wouldn’t please everyone. This way can make it as figure hugging or as loose as you please, and in my opinion that makes it worth the asking price alone.
Please stop repeating this. Only ONE person has voiced desire for an auto/default-anti-cling algorhythm. Chances are everyone else here wants autofit to allow them to choose one or the other and everything in-between. I know I do.
...my frustration is not with the PA’s, it is with Daz deciding to wash their hands of support for the older figures completely with regards to their new product and thus making this far much more expensive to stay current with.

Same here. Most PA's on DAZ are nice and very generous about this type of thing. Some will bundle their fixes with say-- the Genesis 2 version of their product, but most will give free updates to anyone who purchased the product. Hell, I got an email notification from Zev0 that Faceweight was updated for 4.6 compatibility, and I didn't even use the DIM for that product! (II've heard a lot of people say that's the only way you'll get update notifications for purchased products)

Because V4 was so successful, and there is so much clothing created for her both here and in other stores. The fact her UV is not only used for all Gen4 female characters but several Genesis characters as well, something was needed. Will the same happen for say Hiro3? Kids4? Hard to say, and this is just one reason why I am concerned as well as frustrated with Daz’s current marketing strategy.
Unlikely. Michael 4 is the most likely if any, since he's the second most popular. I agree with what people have said in other threads that DAZ is making a big mistake by going the "Poser Route" as I call it, and creating next-gen characters who only work natively with their software. Just because Poser has ALWAYS done this doesn't mean it's a good idea. Esp. when you look at the history of freebies-- there's a massive dropoff in freebie support after Posette, and the dropoff is at its sharpest with the P7 generation and later (which, correct me if I'm wrong, is when V4 was released)

Having to purchase more to make something work which needed less in the past is what many of us here are frustrated with. That is on Daz’s shoulders as they are the ones calling the marketing shots.
Yeah, that's been greatly frustrating me as well. I didn't know that PA content was getting this bad. Are ol goodies like Elven Warrior still 2.99, or are strings attached to those now as well?

Is it really that V4 is the most successful, or just that long time poser users either can’t or don’t wish to use DSON?
    Partly the latter.

One brief waltz around competitors forums suggests that the majority still idolizing V4 tend to be Poser users, with the occasional user of Daz Studio 3 or below.
Bingo. However, I do not use Poser, so I have no idea how accurately the DSON importer functions. However, the general sentiment among Poser-only users seems to be rather sour, as they seem to feel as though DAZ is trying to force them to use their software instead of Poser. I know it's not the fact that the DSON Importer costs $$$, as it's a measly 10 bucks. I've also seen sentiment that DAZ is becoming a monopoly. I'm not really sure where they're coming from on this, except that the Gen 5 characters seem to fuel this sentiment a lot.

  • Help! Problem with using the transfer Utility with Michael 5

    Hi,

I am new to making my own content and so far I have had good luck with older characters and rigging clothing that I made. However I am having this problem with the genesis michael morph. Here is what I did:

    Loaded Michael 5 morph
exported to Zbrush using go to z
    Extracted and modeled clothing
    sent back to Daz
Used the Transfer Utility and I get this? see photos

I had a problem with Michael 4 and his legs not being zeroed but I zeroed out Michael 5 before exporting him and still having problem with the clothing and rigging not matching up.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    James

  • create human figure

There are many ways to achieve that...what software do you own/plan to use for this project?

Assuming you will be using (only) DAZ Studio, keep in mind that DAZ Studio isn't a modeling program, which means that you'll need some 3D models you can use for your project:

    A human figure
    A shirt
    Pants
A field of grass (though you alternatively could use a 2D image for this)
Possibly a skydome (you could alternatively use a 2D image for the sky)
Maybe some more things, like hair and shoes

If you want to make these models yourself, you'll need to use a separate program like Hexagon, Blender, ZBrush, Carrara, etc. If you don't want to do this, you can do what most of us do and use premade models which you can then customize as needed.

Go ahead and install DAZ Studio 4.6 if you haven't yet done so. Make sure you also install Genesis Starter Essentials (it's a separate download). Feel free to ask if you're not sure how to do that.

For learning how to use DAZ Studio's basic functions, I'd recommend taking a look at this video tutorial sequence: http://www.daz3d.com/help/help-daz-3d-video-tutorials/ Especially the first three free videos (Introduction to 3D, 1.1 Intro to DAZ Studio, and 2.1 Scene Building). The Scene Building one should be particularly helpful for this project.

For your human figure, I'd recommend starting with Genesis, which comes free with DAZ Studio. Other options might be Genesis 2 Female (also free, but this is a female figure and you specified that you want a man), Michael 4 (available for purchase: http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-base-male-3d-model), or various other models available here or from other sites.

For your shirt and pants, you could use the free clothing that comes with DAZ Studio. You get three outfits: Magus for Genesis, Journeyer Scout for Genesis, and K4 Basicwear for Genesis. There are tons of additional outfits available for purchase if those ones do not suit your needs, including a bunch that you can buy for $1.99 each if you join the Platinum Club. And some free Genesis clothing is available at other sites like sharecg.com.

Once you have your figure set up and dressed, you'll need to provide a setting. The simplest way to do that would be to find an appropriate photograph or other image you can use, and set it to be the backdrop (from the Edit menu, choose Backdrop and browse to your image). The problem with that technique is that your resulting image will probably look like a 3D model superimposed over a 2D background (because that's what it is). It's possible to make it work more seamlessly, but that can take effort.

Another option would be to use a premade 3D environment, like one of these:
    http://www.daz3d.com/millennium-environment
    http://www.daz3d.com/easy-environments-greenlands
    http://www.daz3d.com/the-all-new-worldbase-xt-lushlands
    http://www.daz3d.com/hilly-surround/

There are plenty of other possibilites, too...

I realize I've glossed over a lot of the finer details...if you can be more specific about what you want to achieve, how you would like to go about it, and what parts of the process you need the most help with, we'll have a better sense of how we can be of assistance.

Look out Luka, 'cause Zac wants to be seen!
We'll compare these two short hairstyles. Zac Hair is rendering now. You can decide if you need both of them, or if you only want one, which you might prefer.

Keep in mind Cassidy is Genesis (Aiko 5.)

First, who are the hairstyles for?
Zac: Genesis, Victoria 4, Michael 4, Aiko 4, The Girl 4, Hiro 4, David 3
Luka: Genesis, Victoria 4, Aiko 4, Victoria 4 Elite, Victoria 3, Aiko 3, The Girl 4, The Girl, Stephanie 4

It's at 30% so will be about 45 minutes. Will post separately.

    Is this a freshly-loaded V4 from the original .cr2?

Is the \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Victoria 4 folder in the same place as the \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\Michael 4 folder? Is there only one of it? You might try running \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ\DzCreateExPFiles-V4 again.

Graip always knew the mood his master was in, so when Kielan drifted off into memories Graip did as any faithful friend would. He went over to his master, rested his head on the warm skin. Giving comfort and love the way only a dog can.

    File on Kielan:

    Age: Early 30's

    Marital Status: Divorced

Living: With his two dogs in a small apartment in the working class area of town.

Work: works shift on the loading dock near the harbor

Info: Married in his late twenties, divorced three years later. His past is mostly unknown, all files that has been found is stamped "Classified". His adult dog are named Graip, the pup is yet unknown to us.

  • Predatron LoREZ Arab/ Biblical women (and Men)

    Hi,

possibly, i would like me too, some Epic- Bible style clothing: as we could see in "Ben Hur"... for ex.

On the other hand, for the moment, i could obtain many Bible-looking clothings, mixing accessories, dynamic clothing, shoes,
with very nice Daz Items that already exists in Daz Catalog.
(i've not yet done but i would do)

    For exemple:
Leafy Suit for Genesis to dress Adam ans Eve, and if you modify it's texture into leather, the Leafy Suit could
become an add to put on top of a tunic.
Dynamic Fantasy Robe and many other (Egytian dynamic cloths) are good for that purpose.
All Barbarian - Conan style, should be goog for ante-diluvian people.
Sandals of Monk Robes for Michael 4 and sandals of Jasmin for Genesis (Clothing and Accessories) are good, too,
    just to name a few...

I wondering if Daz would explore the Epic- Biblical Items, probably they should sell well ? Maybe yes...
    Cheers
    sara

Not sure about Poser, but in Daz Studio I conform the cyborg figure to a Michael 4, setting M4 to not visible, then pose M4.

Thank you! Worked perfectly. I had the same trouble with the Daz skeleton and ended up using only poser 1-4 and a few M3 poses with it. I have a feeling this will work with it too. Makes both files a joy!

It should (pretty sure it does) work equally well for the M4 skeleton - I seem to recall there is a pose to do the conforming for the skeleton?
