On the GenX pane, there a tab called 'Morphs' I think you can remove unwanted morphs from there it also creates a backup you can restore the morph from unless you remove that too (Dimension3d knew his stuff).

Have to agree with those pointing out that it's a matter of dialing in the morphs you want rather than just a single morph.  Plus you need to pose to work with the look you want. (An unfortunate truth is that most poses will need adjustment for a model outside the skinny base or you get thighs or arms clipping.)

Davvero pensi che l'animazione dia più libertà narrativa?
(Non so se si capisce il tono, sono curioso e non sarcastico).

Io mi sento molto più libero quando scrivo, meno libero quando illustro coi render, perché è una limitazione il fatto che debba essere in grado di rappresentare tutto ciò che immagino, e anche il fatto che richieda molto più tempo che scrivere semplicemente i dialoghi. L'animazione la vedo ancora più in quella direzione.

Sia chiaro, intendo nel mondo per adulti. Di graphic novel in generale vedo tanti tentativi andati a male in giro.
Ma sarà che in generale sono anche molto convinti, e quando sei molto convinto è difficile vedere i tuoi errori e aggiustare il tiro. Sul forum ne ho visti tanti che dicono "eh la mia grandiosa graphic novel", e poi vai a vedere e sono sempre quei pastrocchi sci-fi fatti male, con grafiche 3D tutte sbagliate, ma lo fanno da 5 anni e quindi si credono dei miti. Contenti loro.

Ma ti dicevo l'altro giorno che il campo delle visual novel con Ren'Py (stile videogioco) è molto meglio se devi buttarti in un campo nuovo.
Avessi il tempo ci proverei anche io. Anzi, può darsi che un giorno lo farò.
Per adesso, considera che il risponderti è la mia pausa fra 2 sessioni di studio di più di un'ora l'una xD

In ogni caso ripeto, saper pubblicizzare i propri contenuti è fondamentale!
Tempo fa calcolai che ogni pagina mi prendeva 90 minuti (ho ridotto queste tempistiche per fortuna). Una buona percentuale di quel tempo era semplicemente per la pubblicazione in giro! E sicuramente non sono il più efficiente, sto solo sperimentando.

Sì anche a me piacerebbe allargare la libreria, infatti ogni giorno controllo tutti i saldi (ho la newsletter di Daz Deals), ma non è più come qualche mese fa, quando avevo la libreria vuota e avevo necessariamente bisogno di comprare un nuovo outfit se non volevo riutilizzare lo stesso di 2 scene prima.
Il primo outfit per G8F che comprai, l'ho usato così tanto che a un certo punto i watcher hanno iniziato a gridarmi gentilmente di cambiare quei vestiti xD
E mi sono anche un po' scocciato di convertire prodotti vecchi, che poi se formatto o uso un altro PC è un casino. Quindi, in linea di massima, o sono scontati a tipo il 70% complessivamente e sono di qualità che mi aggrada e di ultima generazione, o mi limito a sfruttare i coupon del PC+ club! :)

I think it will be G3 to G8 ONLY for now but if we buy enough of this, He may expand into older generations. :)

Yes, of course the first release will be 3 to 8, I just hope to see a nice plugin to add the ability to transfer older Genesis too.

Those images are really promising to me, looks like a sort of easy to use  "One click, all done" thing.

This item has some issues even in A pose. 

This Albany in A pose with no morphs applied, straight out of Smart Content.  The edge of the inner part of the robe pokes through the outer part.  You have to use the Separate lower layers adjustment to fix that.

If you then use the open styling morph, even 20% or so, you get this around the belt, and I couldn't eliminate it completely with the adjustment sliders.

Applying a pose got me this

Overlapping parts of clothing are hard, but there's the armpits, and everything.  This is with smoothing and collision applied.

So, yeah, I think you're looking at postwork if you want to keep using it.  I just checked and I'm 2 weeks past the RMA limit.  I'd request a refund.  Feel free to use these pictures.  Maybe it will get fixed.

I bought Malik Hair. I don't like the high clearance above the ears, but there's no morph to lower it. I have Jonathan Hair, Zack Hair, Greyson Hair, Ping Hair, & Sleek Ponytail Hair (all with uncovered ears) by the same vendor, and the high ears with no morph seems to be a trademark. I've never seen an actual human with that much skin showing above their ears.

I decided to try the old way of fitting hair through scaling and translation to lower the ear height, but Silas' mushroom cranium makes the X dimension balloon so that the sideburns won't fit. I tried a smoothing modifier, but it's not helping either. Any ideas?

Make them yourself in Hexagon for free and use morph loader pro in daz studio to apply them to your model. Look on youtube for tutorials.

You don't have to adjust anything. Just load them both in, select the G8F, the Hair, transfer rigging, change scene identification, and save the hair.

If you have Gen X and the A3 addon, You can get the Aiko 3 shape into Genesis 3. I had to put A3 morphs into Genesis 2, the copy the shape morph into Genesis 3. It worked well.

What about the Boom Chica morph pack?

Is there a way to convert just one slider from G3 to G8? There are some individual face sliders that I use that would be great if I can convert them.

Yes, use the Convert Custom Scene Character script.  Only dial in the face or individual morph you want to convert.

There are probably many ways to accomplish what you want, I've tried a couple of times to convert some game characters to Daz but I was never happy with the results although that is probably down to my failings as a 3D modeller that anything else. None of the ways are turnkey, you will need to hack around a bit...

The first thing to learn is what a Daz morph is, it's the difference between your shape (character) and one of the base Daz characters i.e. Genesis 8 Female.

You can sell your morph, you cannot sell the Daz base character.

As you are just wanting a head morph you could try FACEGEN or HEADSHOP, both can return excellent results from a photo or photos. The photos have to be just so and expect to do some tweaking to the morph and textures afterwards. Don't pay full price for either product wait for them to be on sale.

WRAP (Russian3dscanner) is another solution where you wrap the Daz base mesh around a target mesh. It does work but is fiddly to get right, that was where I fell down. They also have a version of WRAP as a plugin to ZBrush but I haven't tried that.

Its in the title, my friends. I'm trying to find a way to make Genesis 8 female, or Genesis 3 Female (as a last resort) look like these girls:

So far I haven't found anything even remotely capable of producing this kind of amazing thighs and booty for G8F or G3F. There is a guy on various sites called Guhzcoituz who has his own version of what "thicc" G8F looks like, but its so disproportional and warped it looks nothing like a real woman would look like.

Please tell me that somebody out there made a proper thicc girl morph for G8F, I'm so tired of seeing all the rail-thin supermodel types in the various Daz stores. Heck, I'd even PAY someone to make a proper, functional morph like this for me. NOT using the sliders tho, because I know very well that even the morph loader sliders can't produce this. It would have to be a legit, custom sculpted, fully functional morph for G8F.

i broke  down and bought the pro along with malik. did not buy the Silas HD, but now 2 characters are HD in this package plus Malik . I should be sort of complete for characters now... i hope. How many do you need really with all the morph kits available?
