Dance into Autumn
She is a pixie (see pointed ears! LOL) - she can get away with dancing barefooted in an autumn forest. I wouldn't try, I would catch a cold. ;)
Rendered in DS4.6

Advanced Ambient Light - Age of ArmourNovica & Serene Night’s Renders, Tips, Tutorials & Product Reviews PART 2So out of curiosity and to help you decide if you want to go for tier 2 due to shopping: If I have this right, the stores that are going to be offered in the tiers for Week 3 should be the vendors participating in Week 3 with their products. If there are two vendors on one product, I am assuming both stores must be in the promo-aka, there is one by Esha and Swam, etc.
Hmmm- some are DAZ3d, do they offer that deal on DAZ Originals?

Advanced Ambient, Spot & Distant Lights [Commercial]Very cool Jabba! Are those Andrey Pestryakov's plants? I just picked them up. I haven't tried the yet but they look great. I have been needing something like those for a long time. I hardly ever do outdoor scenes because I always needed so many random plants to fill them. Now maybe I can :)
Oh and I didn't answer Barbult's question about the user guide. I have an update written with the new features (and some typo fixes hehe) ready to upload but will wait until the light update appears. Don't want people to scratch their heads wondering why it has different buttons then the light they are currently using. Although, there are not that many changes so don't worry, it won't be like learning a whole new light.

Stevie Nicks was one of the 80 rock stars who inspired me to learn how to play Guitar and Piano when i was a kid back in the 80's :)All three renders are cool. The dress has a very Jessica Rabbit look to it. Great hair too.

I am trying to use Andrey Pestryakov's Forest ... and setting all those materials with transparencies to 99% diffuse and play with lower Ambient Light settings.
Not going to show the results until now!ForestIf I have an issue with a product, I'll hit up the DAZ Customer Service first, but you can send Andrey Pestryakov a private mail
The picture below shows the default location where the Forest and Forest Superior Scene files are supposed to be in the DAZ Studio Formats library. "DIM My Library" will be named differently in your DAZ Studio.

Really nice Andrey, the materials are excellent.
One of the new Sun Hall model by SoulessEmpathy. 12,000 samples and five hours.
Wow, impressive. Excellent lighting.
You did render using the plug-in Оctane Render for the DS?
You set up the materials for a long time?
Thank you very much Andrey. I did render using the Octane plugin for DS.I was trying to get the lighting to look natural so the only interior lights are the down lights at the top of the scene converted to blackbody emission. I rendered with the Kernel set to PMC and after 4000 samples noticed that the white marble columns were starting to get nice reflections so I just kept adding more samples until I thought they looked good.

Thank you very much for your support Andrey :) Though I wouldn't call myself a master. Thank you Andrey :), I am having a lot of fun learning how to use it.Girl 6, sugary sweet but not to be messed with.
ISO morphing lane for DAZ Studio/Poser..there are no Morphing roads with scenery for Daz or Poser.
The best I can suggest is using one of the morphable roads with First Bastion's Terrain props. Some of them like Hilly Surround and Rolling Plains are morphable as well.

There is also Forest Superior by Andrey Pestryakov, however it is a real load on system resources as it is a high poly set.

Marieah
http://www.daz3d.com/marieahWait, just realized something...Damn... And I really liked Lisa's Botanicals, too...
*Looks at site*
The prices don't sound THAT bad to me... Pricey compared to clothing and other human-related props, sure, but they're right smack dab in the average range when you consider what you get. I'm not looking for opinions on what an appropriate price for DAZ vegetation is, but is it possible that your gripes are based on the fact that her prices are much higher than what you're accustomed to?I mean, I look at Andrey Pestryakov, Predatron, and Merlin Studios, and their vegetation props are in the exact same price range (maybe it's Lisa's bundles that are overpriced, I didn't do any research on that nor do I know what their price was prior) I think Dinoraul's over at Renderosity's cost even more than that (then again, Renderosity stuff is more expensive anyhow), but I don't have a problem with his prices because hey-- his stuff is just too badass for words :P
Come to think of it, IIRC, Traveler's and Judith's more recent plant props are in the same price range as well, as were, I THINK (but don't quote me on this) their older plant props before they entered the deep freeze sale. What level of detail do you expect in an outdoor environment?I have access to e-on vue and know how great it is to have billions of polygons in the scene.
Unfortunately it is not possible to import vue scenes into ds without loss.
The UV wrapping of terrains is for example somewhat unefficient. It works for mountains in the background but not really for closeups. On the other hand I do not anymore want to export to e-on vue because that render engine seems now very slow compared to a GPU based solution.
So we are back to compositing different renders together.

So I am stuck with what is available for DS.
I would love to see more detailed close up to middle range ground plains with very detailed grass and stones.

Awesome would be if people like MartinJFrost who sells vue plants in the DAZ store would start to create high detailed plants optimized for DS.

Personally I am very happy that Andrey Pestryakov offers specialised versions of his environments that are optimised for DS and the Octane Render Plugin:

based on

Very great is that there are medium and high resolution versions of the environments available.

And yes last but not least a big thanks to stonemason who manages to create very detailed scenes that still do not take much RAM and VRAM.
