And also like a marvellous re-interpretation of the beautiful 'Palladian Bridge' at Stowe Gardens in England. Loved the real thing when I visited a few years ago.

The only comment I have is that it's unusual in my experience to see an odd number of pillars. I will admit I had not conciously noticed it myself until seeing the bridge model, only it felt a little different from what I was used to, which made me do a little digging to find out why it felt different. In all the Palladian structures I have seen (and going to great houses is something my wife & I did a fair bit before Covid), there tend to be an odd number of large elements. In the case of your bridge, the odd number of arches with pillars above form the large elements. Then each large element is further sub-divided into a more human scale into an odd number of bays, meaning that a bay tends to be at the centre of each large element. This is actually shown in Stowe's Palladian Bridge below, with a single round topped arch being the centre of the end elements of the bridge and a single bay between pillars being the centre of the central large element. The idea of odd number of elements and odd number of bays is repeated in the front of Stowe House (Palladian), the Trevi Fountain (Baroque) and the  Pavillion Sully at the Louvre (Roccoco), all of which are classic examples of their Palladian derived style.  Your bridge is just different, I am not making a criticism - I'm only an engineer and am certainly not qualified in any way to do anything other than comment on architecture.

It is on my wishlist - not able to get it at the moment due to having overspent last month .

They should have appeared in the "smart" installer (DIM/DAZ Central/DAZ Connect) you are using when G8.1 was released, but it's not the first time I have had doubts about their functionality... I use manual installation only.

Works exactly the same as it does with G8, lots of dots on the face, but I do not trust any "smart" or dumb installers to put stuff in their proper locations.

One possible issue is if DIM/Daz Central was closed just before Daz Studio was launched - it's possible for signals to get crossed (PostgreSQL iss till running at first, from the isntaller, and so DS doesn't tell it to launch, but then it has finished closing later and isn't available); this is usually an issue the other way (close DS, launch installer) rather than in the direction you are seeing.

No, Daz Central doesn't handle betas - it's designed for a simplified experience, aimed at new users, so I suppose betas might have been seen as a potential source of confusion.

Yes, if the files are not being found then the process does take longer as DS has to wait for a timeout each time. Support is usually able to fix these, though I did have one that they simply gave up on and made DIM/Daz Central/Manual-only

Wow.  I tried to login from DS and exact same problem.  Studio won't login at all.  Someone in another thread said DAZ support isn't even responding for 4-6 weeks.  Which means I am screwed now because I bought this PC specifically for the project I am working on.

What method would you advise to install everything?  Are you saying that I should download DS and then install DIM, go into offline mode and install DAZ studio that way? Something is clearly not working with DIM on my Windows 10.  I am able to launch the MAC version with no problems.  I don't even want to bother with Daz Central cause it seems to offer zero control over where stuff goes.  Also I would have to sit here and click on each product 1 at a time to install. That will take me weeks with the amount of content I have purchased over the years.

Yup, I was thinking the exact same thing.  So last night I did a full system reset.  This is a brand new machine and the only thing I am trying to install right now is DAZ, so I didn't have anything to lose but time. Now this is a 100% clean installation of Windows 10.  And guess what...  

Same problem.  DIM doesn't work at all.  Jeez.

I followed TenTen71's instructions precisely.  I installed DAZ Studio 4.15 from the stand alone installer which I know includes PostgreSQl CMS.  I went through each step he detailed with launching DAZ first time.  Put it my activation key.  Stayed in offline mode, etc.  Then I installed DIM and followed his steps.  Went in Offline mode and made changes as instructed.  Then I tried to login with my account and DIM does same thing as before.  It just vanishes after you hit Start button.  Like it is being blocked by a popup blocker. I checked in Task Manager with Windows to see if I can find anything there on what is going on but don't see anything. I also checked the Log file in DIM, but can't see any real error.  I'm including the log file in case it helps.

I opened a support ticket last night. But who knows when anyone might get back to me.

Daz Central should hafea llowed tou to choose the drive to use, though it then puts everything in the same place within the target location. Unfortunately I think it's likely that your attempts to clean things up have now broken some hidden setting - at this point, assuming you don't want to do a system reinstall, you should probably open a support ticket to ask for help with doing a full reset.

Se vuoi un consiglio per cui mi ringrazierai negli anni a venire  lascia perdere smart content (che di smart ha solo il nome) e usa la semplice content library. Te la puoi organizzare ESATTAMENTE come pare a te, non ti fa sorprese auto aggiornando la roba a casaccio e ci metti dentro anche tutta roba che compri o scarichi da altri store. L'unica cosa è che se hai una libreria molto nutrita ti ci vuole un po' per sistemare la roba la prima volta. Ovviamente ogni volta che installi qualcosa di nuovo te lo devi categorizzare a mano, ma lo scopo è proprio quello.

DAZ Central io lo uso solo per ricordarmi cosa ho acquistato perché ci sono le figure, per il resto lascia perdere e usa DIM

DAZ Central è un omicido impunito. Usa il DIM che è MOOOOOOOOOLTO meglio. O usa Connect da dentro DAZ Studio, se proprio non vuoi essere troppo dispersivo...

Nel DIM puoi gestire davvero tutto su un'interfaccia semplice, puoi addirittura verificare che non ci siano pacchetti danneggiati o file mancanti senza dover disinstallare e reinstallare i prodotti nel dubbio. Inoltre le cartelle sono chiare e tutti i cambiamenti effettuati alle librerie vengono trasferiti in DAZ Studio immediatamente. Puoi anche decidere se tenere dei backup dei pacchetti scaricati, spostarli e reimportali quando e come vuoi.
Con DAZ Connect, per contro, puoi avere i pacchetti e i metadata aggiornati in "tempo reale", vedere cosa hai installato e cosa no e nel caso di qualcosa di mancante in una scena, installarlo immediatamente prima di caricarla del tutto. Inoltre puoi effettuare acquisti sullo store DAz direttamente dallo Smart Content e vederli immediatamente nelle tue librerie.

In DAZ Central ci sono i disegnini. Fine.

I downloaded and tried to install DAZ studio via daz central. But daz studio install over 54% and again say to install> I tried delete all file and reinstall. Nothing happens. Any advices?
