HH Wyvern [Commercial]I am sure the profit to you is possibly much higher per sales.
A dragon 3 morph would definitely perform better in sales but I'm not chasing money. The quality of the product is always my end-game goal. I understand that this hinders some of my customers on the versatility deparment and I hear it everytime with every new figure I make. I respect the decision of not investing into the product becuase it doesn't meet your goals as well. We all have different goals and some things work better for others. The horse was done by a whole team of artists and to be fair, a horse's geometry and texturing is very simple and not covered with large and defining scales. I also don't know what the geometry of the their base figure looks like so I cannot comment on how hard or easy that would be. If they made my Wyvern, from a base human figure, with the same quality then I would be dropping money on them for information on how to do it.
I have requested to Daz many times that they make an official base creature figure with plenty of extra polys for strecthing and morphing. So that all products can be shared. This would be ideal and I would be the first one to jump on the train of making morphs. However, all their base figures geometry are highly optimized for that particular shape which make extreme morphing impossible without a large loss in quality.HH Wyvern [Commercial]
Actually the Hivewire Horse is a quality product also...this was shaped from their Dawn character. Yes, I am sure that much morphing required an updated texture map layout, I never stated that it was easy or anyone would do it. I am not suggesting that your product would be inherently better it it was a Dragon 3 morph.Very remarkable looking character, I was disappointed when I understood it was a standalone character, I had thought maybe it was a Dragon 3 character, which I have a ton of their addons! Having purchased the first Tyrannosaurus not understanding that all of the addons were for your later generation of the new and improved Tyrannosaurus I felt burned. All I can offer at the moment is a thumbs up and "great job".i rather dislike all the daz dragon models so kind of glad this isnt one of them (and not just because it's a wyvern) as i think making a morph for those existing dragons must be very limiting.
Actually, having seen another store's transformation from their top female model into a horse, shows that the limitations for some artists that have a handle on modeling is their imagination. I was shocked to see the transformation work, instead of starting with a completely new obj. Plus here their have been some incredible transformations of Dragon 3 from the typical dragon, to a Godzilla style, to a snake style and then a cartoon style. Quite versatile.Unless one has legitimately attempted to modify geometry into different shapes with reconstructing the geometry, then they don't really understand the limitations of this process and what all it impacts (geometry, rigging, uv maps, textures, etc). The dragon is highly anatomically incorrect, both in sculpting and in rigging (especially in its wings). You can also create almost any shape of these base figures but once the topology becomes very stretched, the UV maps also become strecthed in their projection onto the mesh. In other words, you can lose a LOT of quality and run into many problems. I've been working on this thing since last March (off and on) and a figure like this is already a LOT of work already without those problems. Yes all of things mentioned above are very possible but they will never be even in the same ballpark comparing them to the same thing built from the ground up in terms of quality. My one thing with all my products is quality comes first, always. Then comes optimizing and then versatility.
Any previous pose collection would not work anyways since my creature is anatomically very different. RiverSoftArt created a product so you can use your Dragon 3 poses as a starting point but that still works a lot better than trying to throw those poses on a new rig without an algorithm in place, even if it was a morph.Outside of poses, which RiverSoftArt's product solves, what products were you hoping to use?HH Wyvern [Commercial]Very remarkable looking character, I was disappointed when I understood it was a standalone character, I had thought maybe it was a Dragon 3 character, which I have a ton of their addons! I imagined there would be more scope to morph straight away… So just out of interest, how are the morph packs created? in another 3D app and then imported back into Daz?
No shaping options for Genesis 8That looks about right for the base (Free version) of Geneis 8 Male.
Most of the extra body shaping options come from morph packs that are for sale in the Daz3D store (and a few at the other marketplace).

The first 11 minutes of this movie were made only using Poser 6 and Maxon C4D R11& later R11.5 on a mac.
NO Iclone
NO Daz Studio..
This means the original "Talib Ibrahim/Franklin Richards" Character was "acted" by the vestigial Daz Mike2 ( really showing his "age" BTW)
"Dr Sandra Healy" was Originally Daz Vicky3 with the Lovely "Bernadette" morph by "Blackhearted"
The Russian Coup plotters "Vladimir Petrovich"& "Svetlana venechenko"were orginially Daz Mike & vicky 4.
"Galactus" himself was the original Daz Freak3 The "Celestials" : Eson,Oneg&Nezzar ( canon Marvel Characters BTW) ,Were the original Daz Freak3 as well..
After partially Migrating from my one Mac to a windows 7 PC I could run Daz studio 4.x and Iclone 5.5 pipeline.
You see the first Genesis figures in the crowded Night club scene with the belching Drunk guys Gossiping about the latest current events.
Every figure in that Bar/club scene was a Daz genesis-1 except one guy in a Sanctumart hazmat suit holding a beer( Mike2)and a standalone "Vorlon Ambassador" figure from "Babylon 5" for poser.
After that "Talib Ibrahim"is acted by the Genesis 2 Male ( Much better hair right??)
"Dr Sandra Healy" is "acted" by genesis-1via shape projected "bernadette morph" using GENX2,
The Mike& vicky4 based, Russian Coup plotters "Vladimir Petrovich"& "Svetlana venechenko" Now replaced by Genesis-1 via shape projected morphs using GENX2, Most of the generic background people wearing the blue and red bodysuits by "Hellfish studios" were Genesis-1 figures crunched down to less than 6000 faces via the Decimator plugin for Daz studio..
The fat engineer "WE ARE WIDE OPEN!!!" Was "George HD" for the genesis 3 male.
The Black Male Security chief Character "Colonel David Hargrove" was the Amazing Darious 6 for the G2 male.
I am sure most recognized the rugged &uber masculine good looks of "Ivan7" for the G3 male, in the role of the silent&deadly Commander "Wolfgang kurtz"
Side trivia.
"Dr Talia Dinapoli" was a face gen artist version of Isreali Actress Ayalete Azure(sp?) (wife of "Jorrel" in "superman Man of steel")
The "Celestial" "Eson" appeared in the Real Marvel film 'Guardians of the Galaxy" ,in the scene where " the collector" tells the history of the "infinity Stones"
There were no G3 females or G8 figures used in this production.
The "Dhul-Quarnain" Character was a Stan lee styled cameo by "yours truly"
This movie is my last major project with Maxon Cinema4D or the Mac OS.
Blender 2.8x is now My primary 3DCC and my new pipeline consists of all free or open source software except my older copy of Iclone 6.6 pipeline and natural motion endorphin for Ragdoll physics..
fun fact: the late Stan Lee and I were born on the same Day( Dec 28) ... A few decades apart of course

I think that it is okay to make individual models, just know that I have invested a lot of money into the variety of Dragon 3 expansions that I have, and had hoped that this was also one. Also having bought the wrong ticket to ride with one of HH's many Tyrannosaurus models to utilize his expansions, this would explain my gunshiedness to venture outside of the safe zone.

Hi Kibarreto, good jobIt does look like a StarFleet vessel got "jiggy" with Queen AmaIt was an instant buy for me as well, even if the engine nacelles have a bit too much of a trekkie-feel to me. I like Star Trek, but would usually not want to give people the impression of a render being from the Star trek universe (though sometimes I might..). But, maybe I can make myself a morph some time to move those engines a bit inward and closer to the hull. That would be more complicated than any personal tweak I've cooked up so far, but well, to go where no one has gone before?
It does kinda' look like a StarFleet vessel got "jiggy" with Queen Amadalek's "Phantom Menace" transport and had a "baby".

Sincerely,
Bill
Is that an honest typo, or are you just that much of a Whovian that you couldn’t help yourself?

It is limiting in one respect, especially from the creator’s perspective, but it would open up options for the user. Between the two options, I would prefer that this be a Dragon addon, but I understand HH’s reasons for not doing that.
Thank-you Windfield!Just wanted to send out my deepest thanks to Windfield for making such great hair products! Today's release, Monica Hair, was one of the fastest times I've ever carted an item. I absolutely LOVE it. I love all of the Windfield hairs that I have, and I just wanted to extend my sincerest thanks for such superb items! Thank-you!

That blonde character is fantastic. Is that a commercially available one or something you created yourself? If it's available do you mind sharing her name?
Also for those interested here is a thread I created a while back on how to make transmap hair into dForce enabled using weight maps, for anyone interested in experimenting.

She's actually pretty much straight out-of-the-box Tara 2 HD by Kayleyss. Did a couple of minor surface adjustments, and combined a slight bit of morph from Aurore by the same vendor, but other than that, this is how she comes.
Ooops, I passed on her because of the demon part. I guess I made a mistake! D:
Is there any way to save a skeleton as a pose?My point is, how can I load a skeleton from another character, for example the brute 8, in the standard generis 8 male character. Or vice versa, the standard skeleton of genesis 8 in the brute. In this case the geometry of the brute would conform the skeleton proportions of the standard skeleton but keeping general shape.
This means, the mesh will deform with the skinning, and wont wont simply load intact as when we load a morph from a OBJ
This should only load the bones scale and proportions, not load the brute geometry or morph. This will deform the character and I can save it as mesh.
I can achieve the same adding a skeleton mesh as clothing in Unreal, for example, as it will use the mother body skeleton and will deform the incoming skeleton mesh to conform. But Unreal will triangulate the model, and will lose the mesh morph compatibility.
To clarify what I want to achieve, I want the general shape of a character use the same skeleton than the standard g8m, then this means deforming it a bit. Meaning the fingers etc will fit. I know this is not a ideal solution if the proportions are very different but for minor changes I would avoid the fingers etc out of sync
I’m aware I can fit a skeleton to a mesh, this is not about that but the opposite, fit the mesh to the skeleton using his original skeleton as a guide to fit to the new skeleton.I dont want a mesh conforming other mesh, only to the skeleton proprotion and angle changes. Only the skeleton changes are relevant

DA-15Y Lvl 4 dark eye makeup?Does anyone know which eye makeup was used in this promo render? I purchased the DA-15Y Morph, but it does not appear to include this particular eye makeup, and I would like to purchase it if possible.
There are several promo images with the product that appear to use the same makeup shown in the image attached:

Genesis8 Issus when figure has big bellyWhat are you doing to get this "bug"? I suspect you are seeing an issue from an incorrectly configured correction morph, rather than an issue with the base rigging.
Genesis Evolutions - not loading - SortedMorph sets do not normally have user-facing files that will appear in content panes, bar perhaps a zero all preset. Theya dd new sliders to the base figure instead.

In there you will find files that start with DzCreateExPFiles, .bat for PC and .command for mac, not sure about the mac but on PC double click the .bat files to start the system that builds the EXP morph channels.
After you have ran all of them your V4/M4 CR2 should now have a whole pile of empty channels, unless you have overwritten the original CR2 which will have broken the EXP system.
