Did you install Genesis 9 starter essentials? Victoria 9 is just a character for G9 so it won't work without the base installed.

Well .. that's possibly the case .. but unless millions have pre-ordered Vicki 9 .. any script run time would be measured in milliseconds .. it's not like someone has ran a script and left it to run overnight .. run the script, check that it's worked, once satisfied it has - go home.

Most likely, the script was scheduled to run at Daz midnight, so I suppose noone was sitting there watching. 

For the most important release of 2022, this would be horrendously stupid. Victoria is, next to Michael, one of the two flagship characters of DAZ Studio. One should think that DAZ Productions, Inc. would make sure that nothing goes wrong with the release of those two. And postponing the release to the next business hour would be an easy QA measure.

But my eybrows are missing.  /data/Daz 3D/Genesis 9 Starter Essentials/G9 Eyebrows Card Style 01 High/UV Sets/Daz 3D/Base/default.dsf File not found on all the eyebrows.

Looks like some male-specifics are not contained (and i have not bought any male yet, obviously).

That lines up with what I got in the Genesis 9 Starter Essentials.  Not a bad starter pack, though it'll be weeks probably before the PAs start putting the latest versions of popular products like Fit Control, clothing converters, etc.  I played with it for a moment before work and autofit seemed to work pretty well with some basic pants and shirts for both G3 and G8 products, so that's good.

I was just wondering what was up with this one product.  Seems like an odd name for extra brows and lashes.  Not really 'essential' given that the starter pack was decent.

i have the same problem, i just got victoria 9 and the store says its now available, but when loading character it says missing all files and just loads grey boxes. i have downloaded victoria 9 in daz central

Just noticed when i click on presale it cannot be found but if you add to cart you can see a cool new victoria 9 thumbnail in check out

Using the Victoria 9 HD base I had a play in zbrush and created some morphs...

DIM filter by 9th Generation shows nothing, even though I have the essentials and Victoria 9 HD installed.

Looks like the 'essentials' are just eyebrows and eyelashes.  Shouldn't that be called "Genesis 9 eyebrows and lashes"?

No morphs, colors, expressions, etc.  Just eyebrows and eyelashes?

Edit:  To add to my confusion, it mentions "Includes Genesis 9 anatomical elements" in the details but not in the "What's Included" or "File Listing".

Edit/Update:  Through the first two pages, at least.  A few things to note: 

• There were some bugs apparently with some of the brows.  It sounds like it's been fixed.
• Genesis 9 textures are 8k.  Someone thought they were 4k, but they are 8k
• Anatomical Elements are included in this pack.  They don't show up in the File Listing/Read Me because they are a separate package bundled with this one.  They are not included with the Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle.  Male and female elements are included.  Textures still to come.
• Some discussion about whether the combined mesh is a good idea.  I like it.

I'm on an iPad and I zoomed in as close as possible on the eyes and lips and it really looks as realistic as a magazine ad! The main thing about previous generations was the lack of realism in the eyes, eyelashes, and the way some lipsticks had a sharp line and looked fake. There's no way I can invest a lot into G9 but I might end up getting the V9 bundle after all & the morphs/expressions when they come out. I'm sure a PA or maybe DAZ itself will come up with a clone for clothes. In the past I've done mostly non-realistic heavily postworked art anyway, but lately I've been getting into realism and G9 so far does seem more realistic. Most of the promos for DAZ Original core G8.1 characters look awful with that PBR plaster looking skin but the renders I've seen so far V9 and the makeup product skin look amazing! I'm wondering why they couldn't have had similar texturing on G8.1? Have they changed something in the PBR texturing?

Heads up as you mentioned and struck out Anatomical Elements, it looks like they are included in the Genesis 9 Character Essentials, I mean other than that it seems to be a bunch of eyebrows and eye textures, but at least it means they are easier to get as it no longer means having to purchase a Pro bundle to them.

Yeah, I spotted that - and yes. that's positive if they're no longer in a pro bundle; still on the fence on Victoria though. $30 is a bit steep at current exchange rates.  

Purchased the Victoria 9 pre bundle... got the email saying "Download Victoria 9 now!" Was so excited... downloaded Gen 9 and.... where's Victoria? Shop says I've purchased it... out there in the ether... paid too early obviously.

I'm also getting all the load failures that others have reported this morning with Victoria 9 HD. Other points to note - there are almost no body morphs, almost no head morphs, no expressions (at all), and no alternative texture options for eyes, lips, makeup etc. There DO appear to be 'anatomical details' in terms of textures - there are load icons in the character folder. But they fail due to the textures being missing. So I can only assume that the usual packages will follow in due course with the morph sets, the pro pack with anatomical details, and expression packs. I note that some expressions and makeup options are in the store, unclear whether these are the 'standard' set. But the body, head and expression morphs appear to be absent. Somewhat disappointed this morning. Not least with the load errors - this isn't rocket science to test the installer on a clean test machine.

Neither Victoria 9 Intro Bundle nor the pre-order bonuses are showing up. :( I guess someone is due for a visit of Uncle Roger's slippers.
