This was one of my first major annoyances when I started playing around with Genesis 9/Victoria 9. I never use the L.I.E editor and if I do have to tweak something that way, I usually just pull the image into photoshop so I can do it faster and save the file somewhere rather then it being "temporarily" stored.
I had my own thread on this, but the question of how to do something simple like make the lips glossy was never answered. (though it was moved to a weird place in the forums)
Anyone have a tutorial on the workflow for Gen 9 and customizing individual parts of the surfaces now that they consolidated surfaces?

The only thing included with Victoria 9 are the textures for the anatomical elements.  The actual elements are in the characters essentials pack.

I'm a bit perplexed by how this product was handled.

First, I would have thought it would be 'ready to go' and an automatic delivery based on how other products are purchased and received.  Why were files missing from the original distribution of Victoria 9 HD?  Was the package not tested prior to release to ensure it was 'intact'?  Why are free items missing and still not delivered? This has a 'rushed to market' feel even though the character was announced many weeks ago.

Why not just recreate one full package for the Victoria Presale options and add them to the accounts that paid for it?  It's not a physical item - it's a digital product. Fix the packages to be as they should have been and upload them based on purchase history to the appropriate accounts. I'm not sure I understand why this isn't an automatic follow-through. 

If the PAs were given a functional character with morphs and all, why aren't the morphs readily available now?  Why launch Victoria 9 / Genesis 9 without the regular body morphs? 

It feels like that PAs were given a fully functional character to play with whereas the general customer base is getting the character in drips and pieces via extra purchases.  Seems odd given how prior characters have been handled.  

There are some nice features and some rather interesting changes (especially with the eyes and lips).  I would like to be able to add in lipstick from Gen 8 figures but that's not possible anymore. It's a whole new approach. In any case, I feel like I'm in a holding pattern, waiting for more to come to really expand on what Genesis 9 can be. And some of the Gen 8 clothing has not conformed well even with tweaking. (Poke through has occurred.)

The one outfit that I will and have used from the bundle was Lyoness's Mango Movement Collection for G9. These turned out to be serious exercise clothes and not ala Jane Fonda either. She packed in sliders to adjust so many things I couldn't imagine, a jacket that actually can be worn over the other tops and pants for cold weather running/walking, shorts, shirts of all types of sleeves and necks. While there are only three color options, they work together and you can still use shaders. And the socks, knee or ankle, could be used for other outfits that don't offer them, and the tennis shoes, nice.

And like my past few days have gone, just as I was about to render a final version, I clicked one time too many without a save and crashed DAZ. My computer is a whinny little brat. It wasn't the character, dog, or clothes, but the render engine switching too many times. 

And OOT, love the hair, but can't figure out what is with A and B on the hair.

Never download the fetish joke. I would have preferred something more versatile. So I also went with 10-in-1 Casual Wardrobe which I have bought the ones for previous generations and got my money worth.

I really wish we had a more standard pack of poses for both sexes that aren't models or strippers or whatever is in the G9 Starter Essentials, but there is few that a man could use. We need the conversion packs fast.

I agree....I'm gettiing there. All I really find myself doing is trying on older generations' clothing to see if it fits. 

I guess I'll go and read up on the Transfer utility so I can get some of this AprilYSH hair and others with bones over to G9. 

Without having ability to customise & tweak minutiae with head/body morphs I'm already being bored with Victoria 9...

Thanks. I was confused by what Richard said as whether they were included with Victoria 9 herself or just with the Intro Bundle,.

Anatomical elements textures come with Victoria 9, there are none for the base Genesis 9 figure, as Richard said.  Interestingly though, there are Normal Maps for the anatomical elements included with G9.

I am very sorry but I have now learned that there was a "not" missing from the reply I received. There are not, currently at least, anatomical element maps to match the base textures. Until we get some add-on characters the only way to use the anatomical elements is on Victoria 9. I can only offer my apologies for having got your hopes up incorrectly. 

OK, now I am really confused. If they are not in the Caharacter Essentials, where exactly are the textures for the  anatomical elements? Do they come with Victoria 9 HD by herself or do I have to buy a bundle with a lot of items I don't want?

Well, Mada hinted that the PA's have already got Michael 9, so maybe? Here's hoping he doesn't look like Michael 8.1 or Michael 8...lol.

@MallenLane Do you mean V9 rather than G9? That is, do the included retread G8 textures (Victoria 8.1, Kala 8, Jada 8.1, & Clara 8.1) have 8k detail maps as well?

I have problems with this product.

When I add the single textures it works good * takes ages to apply * but, when I want to use the apply all, it does look wrong.

The first Image is an  example where I used V9 Makeup Apply All 02.

And the second one is how it should look like.

Loading time for all the Makeup options are quite long.

None of the Removal options work.

Has anyone else the same problem with this product?

When I clicked on the redo button to remove the Apply ALL option, it changed the skin of V9 to the Freckle one.

They stil need to be added, Daz is aware of this but running the update to add items puts a heavy load on the servers so it is being staged. That said, I thought the plan was to add them overnight so I have sent a query in. In any event, you shouldn't need to do anything to get them.

Good info because as of yet I have all the Genesis 9 stuff downloaded but the Victoria 9 HD figure and bundle has yet to show up in my DIM or DazCentral.
