I was able to install both via Smart Content, I do not use DAZ Central.  But the Victoria 9 Product Icon is missing.  I now have numerous products with a missing icon.

How can I fix this?

So, I just went in and looked to see if I could find the textures and noticed that the product entry for the anatomical elements in smart content has [DO NOT ENABLE] as part of the name. >.> I hope they were intended for inclusion and not there by mistake. 

Got say I am not impressed I pre ordered Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle. It showed up in my product library this morning, over 7 hours ago. Can I download it NO. Really. Also another thing that really hisses me off. All of the items that are in Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle I can buy again in the store. NO They don't say I already own them. Get your thit together Daz

Don't see most of my preordered items either. I did get the "Download Victoria 9 Now!" I'm assuming this is another screw-up that DAZ set out in the dark of night. Maybe they figure I'll wade through over 27 pages of comments to figure out what's going on or whether I should entire a ticket or what...

Underwhelmed by the Genesis 9 Base Female. The pale skin looks like Victoria 8.1, even has her image.

Some people who preordered have the products already, but a lot don't have it yet. And some people who have it in their account don't find it in DIM.

I'm not against the gens being sold seperately as an option. I am against that option not being included in the pro bundle. On the other hand, it just further lowers the value of the bundle which is a good reason for me to not buy them in the future unless they come with a lot of stuff I want.

It not showing up on the sale page might be an error, but they're weirdly coy about ye olde anatomical elements and making sure people who want them have to know what to look for. So it wouldn't surprise me if they just chose not to advertise it.

On my Daz Central I only see the genesis 9 starter essentials but no victoria 9, any idea on why?

I figured the missing eyebrow part out. The script is looking for a UV map that is part of the character essentials, not the starter essentials. (proper QA could have prevented that)

The shirt morphs still doing nothing. But you can workaround certain mishaps with, smoothing and collision iterations as well as a push modifier. (Again QA could have prevented that)

I can't find any preset expressions either, but the regular morphs to build an expression are working fine. So I guess the Genesis vanilla figure has to deal with not having easy to use presets.

Eh, they look good but I'm just wondering how well they will hold up when you dial in big characters like the Brute and Swole - which hopefully will make their way to Gen9 as well, seeing that I do use those characters a lot. I mostly do fantasy themed renders as opposed to contemporary and realistic ones (for that I can always step out into the real world...). Yeah, those are really great examples of specific cases that have been a problem in the past. I'm hoping since the bends are really well done out of the box for this generation that it means they function better in general. Definitely look forward to seeing how they work with more unusual characters and body types. I hope you will test it and let us know soon, either with something custom or once some of the bigger characters (as you said -- hopefully) do make their way to Gen9. 

I've been messing around with custom morphs in ZBrush and the figure is much easier to work with than G8 for me. I haven't tried making a bigger character yet, but this is Victoria 9 with ZBrush morphs and I gave her a significantly bigger waistline and a bigger belly. There was a little bit of the usual folding when a character doesn't have a corrective morph for unusual shapes, but it was much easier to smooth out.

Ya well, did anyone who preordered, get any bundled content to download?

Meaning:

- preordered Victoria 9: you can download Victoria 9 but not bundled/freebies content like hair.

- preordered Victoria 9 Bundle: NO content, except Starter Essentials.

Preorders do not seem to have been allocated yet but buying now will give you access to the files. I guess it's a manual process, or button press, that needs to happen DAZ side to add the items to our available items/DIM. Waiting patiently for that to happen.

If you shop here and don't expect things like this and get worked up about it you are going to shave years off your life with stress.

I pre-ordered Victoria 9 HD (only - not the bundle) yesterday evening, prior to launch. It was there in DIM downloads this morning (UK time: UTC+1), alongside the genesis 9 essentials packages. Downloaded, installed and loaded into 4.21 just fine, but with the same missing files that others have reported. So it's not just pre-orders that are missing. 

Same problem for me: updated DAZ, downloaded the Genesis 9 starter essentials, and.... no sign of Victoria 9 or the BUNDLE I pre-ordered in DAZ Central.  I await a fix, soon, I hope.

I preordered the figure only, not the bundle, and I do have the download. However, I do not have the download or evidence of a "purchase" for the Voss hair that was supposed to be the freebie with purchase. So maybe it's only an issue with some preorders and preordered content? 

Looks like this is a common problem.  I've got the same issue: updated DAZ, downloaded the G9 essentials... and no sign of any of the Victoria 9 products I pre-ordered in DAZ Central.  Hope they get things sorted out soon, I was really looking forward to seeing what the model could do.

It's not a good look either way.

 

1) if it is Just those that pre ordered that don't have access to down load thier content that likely means some one fd up when setting up the release which is horrible as (imho) they should have made sure preorder people were set to go BEFORE launch.

Also I have noticed that on the Daz3d store the individual items that are part of the bundle shill show as being buyable rather than what usually happens when you buy a bundle and they get marked as purchased.

If this is the case I am likely to never pre-order anything from Daz again even though I am a huge sucker for preorder exclusives.

 

2) If it is a store/ site wide issue and NO ONE can download anything Victora 9 then they probably should not have put it up on the store or have taken it down until they can fix the issue.
