Bone Minion for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Poses for Genesis 9 is submitted and ready for testing.  Release dates are at Daz's sole discretion, so I don't know when it will be released; I would not expect it during the Genesis 9 launch period.

Yeah, I'd like to think they are going to get things sorted out, but this is nothing new. I mean how sad is it that 'DAZ Veterans' sit back with popcorn and grin while all the newbies freak out over things like "Everything in the store was FREE at changeover!" I had the same thought and did submit a sales help request asking for $10 store credit because of the after-the fact-offer. They've had my pre-sale money for weeks.

Hi. I already preordered victoria  intro bundle, from what i understand those who preorder gets free voss hair. But checking things out, voss hair is not included, and I still have to pay for voss hair?

What I would love to know , Because I  pre-ordered back in September for the Victoria 9 HD Intro Bundle, are the bonus items now not goingt to be offered? Or was there a certian time frame? I ordered on the 27th Of September.

I too got that interesting Email offer,  but None of the " Early order bonus"  items have circulated in yet.  Super confused.. and my items" updated" but the void of swirling mass still is twirling in the  product libary,  For any info its 6:45 pm Est where I am. 

She told me that she is not happy because all the other Victoria's before her have so much more stuff.

Have you read the announcements? Because they are now industry standard. Changes to lips, eyes etc. are easily accomplished with mapping and LIEs. Just like we do now.

Have they fixed the issue with LIE being painfully slow? 

I haven't tried the editor yet, but applying makeup does take quite a long time. Perhaps a second longer than 8.1. In fact working with Victoria 9 now, it seems doing just about everything is a bit slower. Just a wild guess, I'd say about 15-25% slower. For me anyway, on a 5950x and RTX 3090.

All your content will work with this release. You can use driver 517.40 without any issues, just don't install 522.30 at this moment. You could always install the current Public Beta and keep 4.20.0.17, as the Public Beta is the same version as the current general release.

I can confirm that https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-9-character-essentials includes anatomical elements - but as a seperate installer. This leads me to wonder if other things, when purchased, include anatomical elements. Traditionally these are part of any of the character bundles. I don't mind spending $13 once. But I'd rather I didn't have to if I've already spent big bucks on a bundle. If I spent $13 on eyelash colors because some bug in the store prevented the Victoria Bundle from including anatomical elements, I'm going to be put out.

I was poking fun at people getting all worked up 1 minute after the store changed over last night, but it is justified now. I mean, this isn't DAZ's FIRST new character rollout. Why? Just WHY does it always get so borked up?

Edit-1:13PM CST- I now have them all. The images on my Product Library page all show now, so I went to look inside my DIM and they are all there to download. DIM is a bit wonky tho, the filter isnt working properly..when I choose Recent Purchases First, the products show up in alphabetical order so  you got to search out the products to download.

Sort order is based on the data provided by the store.

I always sort by order date in Daz Central to help with installation. However, something is still messed up with the database.. A bunch of things I purchased in the past now show as 10.19.2022 for the order date. I have "316" items I purchased today according to Daz Central.. really? It wasn't like that until Victoria 9 showed up in my products list..

In fact if I go in my product library on the website instead, all of those random ones show up as "Order: Manually Added" - database manipulations gone wrong?  Poduct normally show my order ID in there..

I looked at the Intro bundle, and don't think it's worth the $111. I'll eventually get Victoria 9 and various morph packages when they're available.

I have tested Genesis 8 clothes and hair on Victoria 9 and they works.

Hopefully there will be some pose converter available in the future.

  • In fact I find zeo ability to modify any of these things, which we have come to expect with all prior new Victorias and Michael versions. Not withstanding the great new features I'm stuck with the ianbiity to makes any of the basic Shape changes as listed above. Changing the Eyebrows is nice, but does not change the Basic Overall Shape. I assume this is either a mistake during a rushed public release, or that I have to shell out a lot of money to be able to make the shape changes that I have come to expect.

G9 pose, as I'm not going to attempt it and will wait for pose converters.

G8 (the one that appeared in almost all promos i think) bikini; it fit well, slight poke through on a breast, but that is what mesh grabber is for.

Tweaked the skin a bit, no reason was just to mess about.
