My mouth is keep getting me into trouble. I want to cry but my tears are dry. I guess I will watch the Incredible Hulk for now.

My mouth has always been getting me in trouble, mostly for biting people and once for biting a dog... in my defense, he was barking all sorts of obscenities at me and by canine rules I had to bite him... Thats the trouble with being raised by wolves, you see too many situations in a "pee on this" or "bite him" sort of perspective.
I too also want to cry... but that mostly has to do with my AutoCAD 2000 Bible falling into my lap... followed by the Photoshop CS2 Bible, Photoshop CS3 Bible, InDesign CS3 Bible, the Bryce 3D handbook (I hate that book), a small tin of "Uncle Oinkie's Bacon Mints", an Ikea halogen desk lamp, a polyvinyl scorpion and pair of large vise grips (for welding).
I mostly want to cry because the bacon mints are all gone... I also seem to be suffering mood swings since a few moments ago I was feeling pretty homicidal because when the world fell on me, it also startled the crap out of me, triggering my fight or destroy everything in a 21 foot radius instinct... then I felt sad because I'm out of bacon mints... then I was happy because I found Mr Pinchy my polyvinyl scorpion... then I was sad because I realized I was not the one who ate the bacon mint... and now I want to cry because I just started to realize that the corner of at least one of those rather unlight books landed right on... my zipper... and I believe that really hurt. I'm not 100% sure, since I have twin daughters who systematically have been trying to ensure they will have no more siblings by kneeing, head butting, tackling me,kicking and leaping four or more feet into the air and landing pointy, boney parts first onto that general area for the past six years.
I'm sorry to hear your tears are dry, I find that realizing you are out of bacon mints is good for helping them show up in your eyes... you really aught to try bacon mints... they are pretty awesome.
    Until you eat them all.
Then they are gone and all you feel is hollow inside, like a giant wheel of cheese that rats were living in,but then the rats left because they ate all the good cheese and filled up the inside of the cheese wheel with rat poops... I suppose if there were enough rat poops, you would not feel so hollow, but in this case there are just enough rat poops to strike a proper balance...
I hope this is helping you... I don't really know what I'm writing about anymore, but I hope it has been for some good cause... maybe save the manatees or marsupial rights... something positive.
Well, I hope you enjoy the hulk... (sorry if it is the stupid one), the hulk was very instrumental in my early development and taught me that there is no situation that can not use a little smashing here and there...
    eh...
    Bye.

those Ikea halogen desk lamps halogen is hot enuff to cause some xtra ouch

Well, Reference images are so hard to come by...

Basically I'm not so much a person to stick with any one culture, But I'd say my interested style of tribal wear is probably closest to Native American Indians (Excluding all the frilly bits), but with a tropical islander heavily in mind as well.

I'm pretty much into "fictional" as I'm building up a rather unique fictional race. I'm right into the concept of loincloths but not where they are too exposed, like say the Africans, Australian Aborigines or pacific islanders. I much rather lots of leather and pelt elements. Laced up trousers, tall boots. No bright colours, all natural tans and browns.

Jewelry: bracelets, necklaces, armbands made up with bone, shells, wood, feathers, leather straps and cords.

I also like the idea of distinct patches of pelt/leather hand sewn to form the clothing. Belts: Lots of straps, multiple belts even. Poncho or cloak made of pelt/leather or heavy worn fabric is a good idea too.

    Soooo many Idea's LOL.

I'll start with some of the scorpion king, Very close in terms of Rock's costume. I love the cut up pieces all joined together. A great costume :)

So yeah this has been an on-going doodle for almost a week now. Fail! D:

Poor Rae is so startled, but he seems preoccupied with his new feet. It will be a moment before he's upset that his favorite shirt got totally destroyed in his transformation XD
Oh yeah, and the loss of his hands will be quite a shock too. That will come before mourning his clothing ^^

I've been trying to make him/me look different than Akai does... Without much success DX
I'm adding stripes and some splotches to his...My... His? BAH... To the wyvern's hide so it's not all one color. I removed the scorpion stinger, and instead opted to have poisonous barbs on my back running from my shoulders to my hip. They're not too visible here...

No tattoos or earrings or anything *yet* since I'm still getting use

  • AUGUST New Users Contest WIP Thread

A few quick comments on recently posted images...hope I didn't miss anyone.

Colpolstudios: I can't find anything wrong with the dragon picture either. On the other, watch the collision between the scorpion creature's feet and the floor. And maybe adding shadows would help, too.

Cyonix: Definitely an improvement over the original, which I already thought was good.

Fhalo: I like your latest work, and I prefer the monochrome one too. Very poignant. Although maybe it would be even better if it wasn't quite monochrome? Like maybe sepia, or not completely desaturated, or something like Schindler's List with only certain spots of color?

ntotor: Keeps getting better. I'd like to see stronger light on one side of her face than the other. Loved your first entry, by the way.

evilproducer: I think yours has improved a good deal, also. And I love the camera angle!

deloquencia: nothing specific to say about the technical aspects, but I like the fox. :) Nice work so far.

Bugs bugs bugssssss! Got a better tarantula and scorpion from Rendo, a power plant, a few high-rises and some TVC-related stuff as well.

Boring at work.. quiet.. writing Windows HELP files and wishing it were next Friday! I want my new laptop, dag nab it!

At least the chassis for my backup drive arrived, time to have my friend Anket put it together for me! He's a nice guy, college CS student, loves to tinker.. for cheap he'll do assembly work for me. Whew! That'll give me a 640GB external USB drive and I can finally back up my Asus machine.

Slowly but surely things move ahead. Mostly slowly. :smirk:

I wonder if I could build a "B" horror comic around a giant cicada eating a town?

I mean, I have a praying mantis, a spider, and a scorpion but those have all been done!

There's a cicada in the Daz Store calling my name... oh noes! :gulp:

*edit* Argh.. and now a pill bug! "Giant Cicada vs. MegaPillbug - Mutant Insect Deathmatch!" :ahhh:

There goes tomorrows 3D asset money, and it's not TVC related. Well, I'm getting the berry dragons, THOSE are for TVC (they'll be different pixie dragons. Pixie dragons are one of the most deadly things in Vickys world). :bug:

...include AntFarm's Bog Flea, a giant moth from Noggin's Ultimate Butterfly Collection, a giant Noggin's Dragonfly, and the Stag Beetle and your ready for an insectoid throwdown that would make Toho studios proud.

I think there even may be a Ginza inspired set on Rendo.

Argh I don't have the Bog Flea.. I do have the dragonfly, the Stag Beetle, and the butterflies. The Bog Flea just went into my wishlist!!

Maybe a second Webcomic that's based on B movies.. hmm.. a short "one issue" thing per "movie". Hmmmm...

say no to wraiths, or candy, mostly candy

I tend to avoid Wraiths because I get betrayals easy whenever I drive them. Friendly fire and all that, since their cannons pack some serious splash damage. Also people tend to be sore losers if you get to drive one and they don't and they start shooting at you.

    is this in a game?

In the Halo franchise, Wraiths are the tanks that the alien group known as the Covenant use. They name most of their vehicles after spirity stuff (Revenants, Ghosts as recon vehicles, Banshees as their air vehicles, Phantoms as their dropships, etc).
    .
They have huge cannons and turbo boosters and a plasma turret that another person can man. Unlike the human's tank the Scorpion, the Wraith has a long-range mortar cannon and not a standard point-and-shoot cannon.
    .
    .
    http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Type-26_Assault_Gun_Carriage
    .
    .
"The Type-26 Assault Gun Carriage,[2] more commonly identified as the Wraith by the UNSC, is the Covenant's main heavy assault vehicle for ground engagements. "
